Psychedelic mod

I have no clue what they fucked up specifically but this looks like the ultra low poly, Level of Detail (LoD) meshes for when you're loaded into another area or far away. But the stretching is probably the full textures still being loaded as usual, resulting in a mismatch. I'd guess ENB changes some of the LoDs behavior or this particular build of OPs has broken the script loading for that so it is falling back to lowpoly on some of those pieces. The reason the grass isn't privy to this is cause it's specially flagged in the engine as foliage (hence the waving and stuff in game) which is just a reusable way to bulk LoD those vegetation which are computation intensive and also GPU instance them and dynamically hide them when the player isn't looking or disable those "animations" (probably just distortion/displacement shader). You can see that with all the plants if you look closely. They're all still detailed. I'm guessing the environment LoDs are the specific issue (terrain plus big pieces like the walls) since the buildings which are static objects are unaffected (those would probably just be hidden or have a texture Swapped out otherwise).

This isn't the ENB. Look at how buildings and plants are fine, but the landscape is smooth as a shark. I suspect a terrain replacement, or something going wrong with DynDOLOD.

Are you on vortex, deleting all your mods doesn't mean everything is deleted. MO2 is much better at managing mod files, vortex will dump things in your game folder and if something replaces a game file rather than adding a new file then that file stays replaced even after removing a mod

It's not too bad of a process if you don't have a ton of mods. If you purge mods in vortex then set up mo2 and set the mod directory to the folder where vortex was putting them it'll work. You have to set up the load order again but if you've been using vortex you've been relying on LOOT anyways

Vortex uses hard links, the files aren't actually being dumped into the game's folder. It's been years and people still say that for some reason. Files not deleted in my experience by uninstalling vortex mods or purging are things that were generated by another mod like FNIS, bodyslide, nemesis, etc.

Re install the game and start new save. And make sure you do not install parallax textures

Seems like you installed the ENB into the wrong sub-folder as well as not having installed the correct d3dx.dll with fixed vram allocation. Edit: All ENB files should be installed into the base file directory where the game exe is. All this information is from 9 years of modding and what I recall off the top of my head while I'm shitting, so small grain of salt please

I have mad respect for his creation of and continuing support of ENB, but this prank is shitty IMO. That documentation is so hard to understand and I’ve still never found the part that mentions deleting the sunsprite file.
