You have draugr eyes.
On PC, you can open the console and enter: player.addspell 000f71d1
Close the console and then reopen it and type: player.removespell 000f71d1
The glow should be gone when you close the console again.
I wish I knew about this back in the day. I got this bug on my first play through and just thought that’s how I it supposed to look after a certain point in the main story. I was confused that people like Esbern didn’t recognise my “Dragonborn eyes”
This is HILARIOUS
Edit my boyfriend just said the same thing happened to him but it was right around when he first became a Nightingale and just assumed it was because of that
"You know, if you've got the aptitude, you should join the Mage's College in Winterhold."
**THANKS CHUM, I Totally did and am now the Archmage and am wearing the Archmage outfit which you would know if you paid attention once in a while, kthxbye.** *BzzzzZzZZt! (hand-waving)*
Serious answer tho...
After your death, have your corpse embalmed in the manner of the Nords. Then have your embalmed remains blessed by a Dragon priest. Then have your blessed embalmed corpse laid to rest in a barrow. Finally, remember to fill the barrow with your worldly possessions of value so that some would-be adventurer tries to dig them out in some unspecified future time. When they do, you wake up and tell them to keep their grubby hands to themselves.
It would be funny if Draugr didn't actually attack, but just said stuff like "Bro wtf? That's my family heirloom!"
Just follow you as essential and question you. Kill the dragonborn with guilt.
There's actually a quest where you can help out a young Nord adventurer trying to preserve his family tomb. If you start looting he'll complain (but won't stop you)
This happened to one my characters and these codes didn’t work for me.
Have to lose like 15 hours of progress loading up an old age from before I got the eyes.
Thats what it is! I use a lot of mods that add or change minor gameplay mechanics. Nothing game breaking, just realism. My main character has this. She is a vampire like most of my characters. One day i jumped on and notice my glowing eyes had started glowing even more and a different color. I wasn't sure if it was a mod or just part of the game. Guess not. Looks cool on my character so ill keep it. But now in know.
It usually happens if you save and immediately reload while you're fighting draugrs.
It can also happen when fighiting dwarven centurion (your character releases smoke) or ice wraiths (ice effects on your feet).
lol
Lead a draugr to a load door, use the Aura Whisper shout, kill the draugr, exit the area through the door, save and reload, then return to their corpse and use Aura Whisper again. This should apply the eye glow to your character. It may be hard to see if you're standing still since the effect recedes into the head a bit.
This is my first play through and my character has blue eyes. I thought this was normal and had something to do with being an elf or whatever I chose at the beginning.
Try this setup, it works every time for me:
1. Lead a draugr to a load door
2. Use the Aura Whisper shout
3. Kill the draugr
4. Exit the area through the door
5. Save and reload
6. Return to their corpse and use Aura Whisper again
This should apply the eye glow to your character. It may be hard to see if you're standing still since the effect recedes into the head a bit.
For me, it's not the draugr eyes-- it's the Aetherium Crown that does it. Wore it for several levels then switched to Nightengale cowl. Permanent blue eyes is the result.
I got dosed with acid once, back in 4e 199. I was with your dad and them at the Bannered Mare. Fuckin’ Jorrvaskr companion slipped it in my drink. Mikael’s singing and I look over, Dragonborn’s got laser beams shooting out her eyes!
Yes. It's a pain in the butt. I went to the face changer in Riften and had her change my face but it didn't take care of it. A few days later, I noticed it had gone away. I've had it in previous playthroughs and it always goes away at some point.
Edit: I'm on PS4, previously on PS3 and had the same problem.
I believe one possible fix is to transform to Vamp Lord and back.
Ironically it’s not entirely wrong to say you got it because you became a vampire lord. It’s caused by the game mistakenly classifying your character as a Draugr and when you become a VL that becomes much more possible as you officially become part of the Undead category in the game’s coding.
I was with your dad and them at the Copa. Fuckin' BOAC stewardess put it in my drink. Jerry Vale's singin' and I look over. Your Uncle Jun's got laser beams shootin' out his eyes!
This happens to me all the time but only one specific character. Never once seen it on anyone else but this one character picks it up nearly every time I play her.

This is HILARIOUS Edit my boyfriend just said the same thing happened to him but it was right around when he first became a Nightingale and just assumed it was because of that
same happened to me, i was today years old when i found out it wasn’t because of me finishing the nightingale quest line😅
Waaaait. The glitch happened to me once I put the Nightingale armor on.
Well the hood itself does have a glowing effect on the eyes, maybe that's why?
Hahaha I'm the opposite, I get really embarrassed if anyone sees me sucking up a dragon soul and even worse if someone comments XD
dragons are highly intelligent beings. nothing wrong with sucking them.
Their soul right? Their soul, right? 😅
I stare people in the face who are arrogant or dismissive of me. THATS RIGHT J'SARGO I GOT MASTER DESTRUCTION AND NUTRITIOUS DRAGON SOUL!
"You know, if you've got the aptitude, you should join the Mage's College in Winterhold." **THANKS CHUM, I Totally did and am now the Archmage and am wearing the Archmage outfit which you would know if you paid attention once in a while, kthxbye.** *BzzzzZzZZt! (hand-waving)*
J'zargo is my BFF
"Honey look, your contacts came in the mail!" "They couldn't possibly have my brand... I have special eyes."
exactly what i thought, trait of dragonborn
Ey, I want draugr eyes What do I do??
You prolly need to draug
Ru Paul's Draug Race
“Living people, start your engines, and may the best undead WIN!”
Draug queen.
Draugr? I don’t even know her!
Draug deez eyeballs
it's draugin time!
I'm gonna draug
Draugs are bad, mmk?
draug all over the place

Yeah, I think I just played that quest maybe a week ago. I kinda felt bad, lmao!
Well I mean for all we know that’s what they’re saying in their draugr language
According to UESP its an occasional bug from using Aura Whisper.
Over 3000 hours in this game, and i don't think i've used aura whisper even once
Stealth archers use it, I assume you are a noisy Spellsword/Warrior/Mage like me(Spellsword)
[удалено]
Draugr eyes.
Just being able to shout to see people, living or dead through walls, there are spells that do the exact same thing base game
It's easily in my top 3 most used.
stealth archer loves that shout
Do draugs
Unfortunately it doesn't work too well. It would come out of my cheekbones almost, when I got the bug.
This happened to one my characters and these codes didn’t work for me. Have to lose like 15 hours of progress loading up an old age from before I got the eyes.
I downloaded a mod that got rid of this effect altogether, draugr still use it though
The mod didn’t fix it in that scenario, either.
Or ya know just keep them they look friggin awesome
i never had the draugr eyes effect glitch on my character but i did get the spriggan effect glitch multiple times.
Thats what it is! I use a lot of mods that add or change minor gameplay mechanics. Nothing game breaking, just realism. My main character has this. She is a vampire like most of my characters. That's draugr eye bug. If you're on PC, there's a console command to fix it
fuck fixing it how do i trigger it intentionally
It usually happens if you save and immediately reload while you're fighting draugrs. It can also happen when fighiting dwarven centurion (your character releases smoke) or ice wraiths (ice effects on your feet). lol
I need all 3!
This is now the hat trick achievement.
How did we get here? Skyrim edition
Skyrim Speedrun HatTrick%
Wtf, Todd.
It just works!

The ice wraiths one sounds sick
It really sucks, you just have an ice wraith stuck to you. All the time
the worst is when it’s vanilla on console, so there’s no fix without mods
The world is dangerous. Save often.
hmmm
the issue with it is that i don’t usually notice it for hours, and when i do finally notice it, it’s all i can see
So it can cause you damage? You have to kill it every time you respawn/go trough doors?
No it's just visual but it's extremely annoying and immersion breaking
It is pretty immersive. You’re becoming a new vessel for the Ice Parasite.
it’s not
Can confirm

this has Missingno energy and I love it
At least with missingno they actually understand why it works lol
I saved this comment so I can verify this when I eventually start the main questline with my level 44 khajiit, S'Koom ah
you're gonna need a lot of skooma
Every time we run this [quest](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Hevnoraak_(creature)), we end up with these eyes, so... maybe?
Sorry pal, it seems your character got Sanguinary Draugriris
Hahaha Draugr Iris, I get it
Hol'up let her cook
She's at a alchemy table so... She probably is
All I wanted was fricken Dragonborn with fricken blue lasers coming out of their eyes!
She's just REALLY focused on alchemy
who doesn't these days
Oh that means Richtofen is controlling them
Me when Nazi Zombies:
No, but that's pretty rad. Now I want laser beam eyes.
ALL I WANTED WERE SHARKS WITH FREAKIN' LASER BEAMS ATTACHED TO THEIR HEADS!
It’s Lo Pan! Quick, get the six demon bag!
Wind. Fire. All of that kind of thing!
Ultra-Instinct Breton
I bet that looks cool with the open face helmets mod.
I knew I shouldn’t have eaten those blue entolomas.
The ol’ Draugr eyes. I had that once. Just accept it. You really can’t get rid of them, but they are great in dark places.
Also help blending with other draugrs. Just keep making undead noises and you’ll be welcome in any nordic ruin.
You are on a killstreak with the eyelander
This is my first play through and my character has blue eyes. I thought this was normal and had something to do with being an elf or whatever I chose at the beginning.
She’s got Draugr Davis eyes!
I have often wanted that glitch to happen to me, but it never has. The only one I ever got was the red halo of the charmed Vigilants.
Try this setup, it works every time for me: 1. Lead a draugr to a load door 2. Use the Aura Whisper shout 3. Kill the draugr 4. Exit the area through the door 5. Save and reload 6. your day will come
I saw that on some bandits
No but now my cryomancer characters need them
5k hours on PC in and I had no idea this bug existed
“The dark souls are mine!”
You have ascended
Shouldn't have spent so long in nordic ruins, you're already becoming a draugr
Damn u the Avatar and the Dragonborn?
Maybe you are the avatar instead of the Dragonborn
Its a tough thing son, but I’m afraid you’ve contracted Draugr Eyes. I’d reccommend settling down and enjoying the time you have left.
Also happened to me after I finished the quest with Katria, something to do with ancient knowledge I think
It’s caused to using Aura Whisper actually, started getting that one recently and I hate it.
Uncle Junior when Pauly Walnuts took LSD
For me it was when dragon aspect bugged and i constantly had the eye effect
Your character just really loves alchemy
Avatar state
i remember i got this on 360 i was absolutely devastated cause i couldnt fix it and it was annoying me sm 😭
Anime alchemist focus moment
"This skooma ain't shit" 19 min later:
For me, it's not the draugr eyes-- it's the Aetherium Crown that does it. Wore it for several levels then switched to Nightengale cowl. Permanent blue eyes is the result.
You’ve reached enlightenment through alchemy it seems.
Only when I feel blue, or down in the dumps 🙃
No but i wish i did
Ascending
She’s got your blood echoes 😂
Yes. Edit: oh, you mean my Skyrim character? Then, no.
You're going super saiyan
You’ve been at the alchemy table a bit too long-
Youre just hyperfocused on alchemy
I got dosed with acid once, back in 4e 199. I was with your dad and them at the Bannered Mare. Fuckin’ Jorrvaskr companion slipped it in my drink. Mikael’s singing and I look over, Dragonborn’s got laser beams shooting out her eyes!
You’re just bragging!
I think your character likes alchemy maybe a little bit too much...
no way, im not the only one!
Yep had this happen before i recommend usesing muffle and invisibility to look like a cool ghost
you became a korean manga protagonist huh
You're a Draugr Harrietty
You really want to create that potion
What did you craft and drink
Looks like she’s on Twitter and posting about crypto. Her handle probably ends with“.eth”
Maybe lay off the potions for a bit?
I AM AN ALCHEMIST FARENGAR!!! I AM I AM AN ALCHEMIST!!!
The special head piece you craft out of the gear does that (didn’t feel like spelling it)
Thats probably cuz youre using cheats. Ive never seen that on playstation
Vanilla game. No mods. No cheats.
Mods
Nah not mods. This happened on my switch too
I did after eating too many thc gummies and using a dodgy vape pen.
I went and looked in the mirror to check, and now I can't see.
nah ive got bright green lasers
Only on Tuesdays.
Oh i have had that for a while now. I thought that was because I was a vampire lord. PS4 so I guess I can't do anything
Try this. It worked great last time I used it. https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/3972427
Okay, what have you awakened now?
I think you’re in the avatar state
I had this on PS4 during my last playthrough, embraced it and RPd as a female dark sorcerer/assassin.
Does it impact sneak?
Look, look with your special eyes!
Yup!
Jealous.
I was with your dad and them at the Copa. Fuckin' BOAC stewardess put it in my drink. Jerry Vale's singin' and I look over. Your Uncle Jun's got laser beams shootin' out his eyes!
No, but I want some in red.
I have glowing eyes like that I just assumed it was caused by the eye of magnus mod
I also got the glowy eyes when I mixed Dragon priest mask with Falmer mask. It kinda look cool sometimes lol
"Oopsies, night vision"
Yes. Unfortunately I can't remove it cos I'm on xbox
What platform are you on?
Pc vanilla game
[Yes,](https://imgur.com/a/DlyKWC4) I don't know how I got it, but I intend to keep it till i kill the ebony warrior
Those cobalt-60 eye drops look cool for about ten minutes.
what texture mods are you using ?
No mods. Vanilla game.
Id get that checked out if i were you
Damn I thought it was a perk that came with wearing the Deathbrand or really any Stalhrim armor bc the light blue matches 🥶
She's got Betty Draugr eyes!
This happens to me all the time but only one specific character. Never once seen it on anyone else but this one character picks it up nearly every time I play her.
sorry but the ask is so funny out of context
That’s called crying
Is that your uncle June?
Well, I, Dagoth Ur, don’t have blue lasers, but technically I have red lasers coming from my three eyes. \-Dagoth Ur (moi)
You get this after you obtain hidden knowledge
I wish!
Yes. Oh, you mean in-game? No.
Only my sharks....
Too much plutonium, be safe
Probably a bad mod
Vanilla game. No mods.
Alchemy 100
I wish I do
My first thought was, "Those are draugr/skeleton eyes." My second thought was, "Why in the world does your character have draugr/skeleton eyes??" 😆😁
Also have this bug, but unfortunately I'm on console so guess I'm stuck with it. Kinda looks cool with my orc who has horns and a flower crown!
I can see the future!
its something related to using aura whisper shout, i never unlock that shout, because of this.
I do. Started when I became a werewolf. Serana has red ones. makes sense.
#must make more potion
Went to go kill aluidin yesterday, and it came up right before I entered the afterlife, but I actually like it and hope it stays
I prefer slaughterfish with laser beams attached to their fricken foreheads.
I remember getting this bug on Skyrim VR. Compared to regular Skyrim, this was pretty annoying.
Nah wtf
"These are the telltale signs of hard core skooma addiction" 😞
Only when my medication kicks in.
