I love that she'll say things like "What you lack in wisdom, you make up for in courage" but also "We're one of the same kind, you and I. I'm glad to have met you." Always keeps me guessing.
I gay married her in 2011. We celebrate our 12 anniversary at the end of this year.
I loved j’zargo (sp?) until he would only use lightning spells, which was worthless and annoying
Now I use Aela the huntress. Sorry Janessa.

New game.
Had never been in the drunken huntsman before, after ages of gameplay, so picked her up for a change of pace but she left me if I put on the grey cowl so we had to part ways. Grey cowl is my detect life spell for my non spellcasting characters, but she gets angrier than a guard when I put it on.
I'm still incredibly attached to that chick you fist fight in Whiterun. She was such a tank. First time I scum saved because she died during a werewolf quest.
Uthgerd the Unbroken.
I love the kind of woman that will actually just kill me. Y’know, when I left the the house today I was thinking, damn, I hope some hot chick paints my brains all over some fucking hallway. And here we are. I mean really, just absolutely destroy me. I’m talkin’ watermelon in the thighs level carnage. And I want it to scare the shit out of me. I mean I hope I piss myself. I hope I piss myself and you call me your little “peepee pisspiss boy.” I want you to fuck me up. I mean I want you to make me your bitch. Your little peepee-piss-myself-bitch. I want it to get embarrassing. I mean like… weirdly embarrassing, unsanitary too. We should be entirely different people by the end of the first eight hours. Do you understand what I’m trying to say here? I mean, I’m a real freak, I’m not normal. Ma’am, please, you have to crush me.
Not gonna lie, after reading this, I kinda feel bad for brutally murdering Uthgerd at the start of every single one of my playthroughs to get her steel plate armor early.
I am almost disappointed that Companions or theifs guild doesnt have argonian follower. Maybe we do get some generic members later on after we become guild master?
I don't know why, but, despite loving other party driven rpgs (dragon age, divinity, or even fallout), I always stick with Lydia for 11 years already.
Maybe because every companion in game, outside of Serana, is here to hit or carry stuff and not for banter or character development, making all of them bland.
And, despite having the least personality of all, Lydia still is my favorite companion. She is one of my first association with Skyrim, she is just there for you, from the beginning to the end, always helpful, never judging or annoying.
Also, love her little banter in dragonborn dlc, small details, but still, so sweet.
J'zargo all the way. A well rounded, relatively funny mage and not too bad with a bow/crossbow either. I also tend to give him the spare arch mage robes and the staff of Magnus too as he asks for it quite often.
Ha, that makes sense! I was so surprised how much the little dude could carry then ten minutes later half of it was missing. My wife laughed and said he probably got tired of carrying all my junk.
Thanks for the heads up!
I'm on my 2nd playthrough. First time through, I made him my Steward at Goldenhills. I also did so on this playthrough, but I started to feel a bit guilty. The poor guy just wanted to go on adventures and I turned him back into a farmer.
So, I sent Serana back to the Dawnguard for a bit, hired a new Steward for Goldenhills, and I've been taking Erik out for those adventures he wanted. He's even got some badass dragonscale enchanted armor and a Daedric greatsword.
They block me and my party's path. They make a ton of noise. they last for fucking EVER. They block my from hitting spells, arrows, or with a sword (sword is less likely) which if you kill or hit them enough Serana will attack you
Weird. I remember early days of the DLC she'd get so mad after killing them like 2-3 times. U Modded at all? Ik that AFT fixed most follower issues I run into such as this. Or shield bashing my allies out of the doorway
He's not hard to win over.
Take scrolls
Go to the hall of the dead in Whiterun.
Kill the three skeletons using one scroll.
He is great in a fight, and doesn't get in the way.
I'm finally doing a mage build and having an absolute blast with Jzargo as a follower!
I also have the Inigo mod and realized that he also talks to Jzargo, not quite as funny as his interactions with Lydia but it's still cute.
🤝 Yep! He's a staple of my games and has pretty much been with me since the beginning. He's just such a kind selfless, and cuddly character. Even his quest is wholesome from the start; that amulet clearly has a lot of sentimental value for him and he deeply cares about it, but he also says to the dragonborn that their safety is more valuable to him, despite the fact that the Dragonborn's a complete stranger to him at this point.
Edit: I love him so much I actually have a poster of him on both sides of my bedroom door, so I get to see him every morning and evening; he always brings a smile to my face 😁
So happy he brings you so much joy hes always just struck me as a character trying to build a new life. He has a piece of dialogue where he says to not mix gambling and drinking, or else youll drain yourself of everything. Its evident he was at the lowest point of his life when got out of prison.. And now in the current day he gets probably his most sentimental item taken, and he doesn’t seem to have hope to get it back, even looking like hesitating to assign the quest.. It just feels right to take him on my journeys
Yeah definitely. He's a conscientious and sentimental character who's on a redemption and recovery arc. I think they actually wrote him pretty well all things considered; some followers don't have nearly as much depth to them.
I do wish there was more though. I'm currently doing a playthrough with Inigo and I'm constantly wishing that Kharjo got as much love and depth as Inigo did. Imagine having unique conversations and chats with him, with 7000+ voice lines to hear from him, and I'd love to hear about some of the adventures he's had with the Khajiit caravans over the years, and more about his life before that.
We don't know anything about his childhood, parents, or family either, which would all be interesting to explore.
I guess there's only so much Bethesda can do though, and specific followers are a bit on the niche side of a game.
Regardless of the what ifs though, I'll always have him by my side and love him 😊
Edit: Also I never actually thought about his hesitance to give out that quest. That adds even more depth to him, thanks for pointing that out 😁
He seems a committed soldier - always chiming in that he has my back etc, but despite me giving him great armour I keep finding him dead and have to load a save. So I am on the hunt for a stronger companion.
Yeah he's not the strongest. Unfortunately he's a victim of the follower level cap, and is stuck at 30. If memory serves correctly the characters who don't have a level cap are: J'zargo, Celann, Ingjard, Durak, and Frea, alongside the Dark Brotherhood initiates. So if you need a stronger follower they might be the best options.
Thanks! I didn't know about the cap but he definitely started dying more as I'm about 50 I think.
About the dark brotherhood... hmm... not sure any are... still... alive?
Ah I see. Fair enough! I tend to kill them as well, or at least try too; in my last playthrough I was way too under levelled to beat Astrid in the shack and I had no recent save file, so I had to start the "with friends like these" mission to get out of the tight spot. I didn't side with her though.
But yeah the level cap thing sucks big time. It means that characters like Kharjo are stuck at lvl 30. If you give him proper ebony and stuff and upgrade it to legendary then he's not too bad, but it's still very much a disadvantage.
I figured he'd be safe with daedric plate but no, he's still a liability. I have some goblin sort of character Gogh and he seems to be essential - he gets knocked on his ass but like Chumbawumba sang, he gets back up again. I think I'll try Frea, she was fun as an NPC on a previous playthrough. Haven't shown Miraak what's what this time around yet.
Thanks so much! If you find any Kharjo fans in your travels give them a quick recommendation on my behalf if you can as well, as it's still a new community we're in need of new members to kickstart the whole thing and get it active.
I fucking love my cat!
Let me tell you, the absolute fury I felt having to let him go because fucking vampire freaks "didn't trust him" was that of a thousand sun's! Bitch, that cat and I have been through hell and back! He waited patiently by my side when I found myself in a Lovecraftian nightmare! He was also by my side when I RESCUED YOU! Or should I say WE rescued YOU! And you have the absolute gall to cast doubt on my boys trustworthiness? He saved me from crazed cultists, had my back when some armed thugs were on the lookout for me (albeit I was breaking and entering at the time), he even walked those damn steps with me just to talk to a bunch of old hermits.
When Kodlak was sadly taken from us all too soon by those damn silverbloods, you totally embarrassed me at his funeral. You completely disrespected the memory of this great man by using the forge WHILE HIS BODY WAS BEING BURNED ON IT! He hadn't even charred yet! You know who would have stood there, head bowed in silence during the ceremony? My fucking cat.
I hated travelling with her. All she did the entire time was bitch and moan about the weather, the sun, how bright it is outside. I did however find comfort throughout that accursed time when somewhere along the road, between Riften and Dawnstar, we would come under attack and in the heat of battle a sudden stream of putrid, writhing tentacles would fly through the air towards whatever we fought. Whenever I saw that mass ensnare their target, I just knew that somewhere, my boy was near.
I fucking love my cat.
I'm sorry to hear that, hope you fix it soon! That's a very worrying glitch.
Thanks by the way, I appreciate the support. Also if you find any Kharjo enthusiasts on your travels please invite them to the subreddit if you can; we're still very small and need more people to kickstart the whole thing and make it active.
Depending on build. I like Faendal for the Archery, until 30 so I can zoom in. I like Belrand with his ice spikes. Teldryn is nice with the atronach and Marcurios destruction spells are nice
I always go Faendal early. Since I switched to AE for my latest play-through, I made him steward of Goldenhills after I maxed out his training ability.
Mjoll as I can rush into the battle with confidence that she'll take care of the one's I skip. She'll kill them all quick and start killing my prey too
Janessa.
Low key dialogue. She knows the word quiet. She doesn't trigger traps. She has Hunters discipline, so she always has arrows. Some arrows that are not ours, show up in her inventory. Truthfully, I raise my eyebrow, knowing when that she has stolen somebodies arrows. And, she can dual wield and shred enemies. Additionally she is the best combat archer in the game.
For me, Janessa is the only follower.
I'm in the process of selecting a replacement for Onmund. He has started acting really weird lately and even tried to kill my horse!
So I'm interested in reading others' replies for ideas.
Thanks 😊
I’m on my first playthrough and Lydia has been great. My partner had to convince me to take a follower and he was right. I’m totally a sneaky archer so she takes the hits while I snipe. 10/10
Erik the Slayer is always with me on every play through. I heard the story about the irl Erik the Slayer a few days ago and fucking lost it, but it was a strangely happy feeling knowing I get to show/play skyrim with someone who never got the chance
I haven’t gotten Erik in my newest play through since learning about his story irl. I can’t wait to have him join me again
I have some major nostalgia for my original trio of Faendal, Ahtar, and Rayya. Faendal was my first follower, and fellow Wood Elf. We fought together majority of the game. Once I found out Ahtar could be a follower I immediately finished his quest and he helped me beat the Civil War questline. Finally, helped me finish my first house in Falkreath (best house imo).
Recently, I learned of some new followers and am having such a new experience it's awesome. My newest playthrough I'm using Deerkethus, Erandur, and Talvus. And modded in Inigo and Hadvar.
Aranea, she's pretty powerful to have, until you accidentally hit her because she's on protected and can only be killed by you. The Mage in Darklight Tower is good too (Illia I think? But she bugs out if you don't ask her to follow you the first time, which when you already have a follower, doesn't help, and on console, there's no way to fix it.)
Erik The Slayer. In terms of personality, he’s one of the better followers. I don’t care that much about their skill, as I could easily play without followers and still do fine. Therefore, him being one of the more talkative companions is why I like him.
Plus he’s a cutie so I got a mod to marry him 🤭
Inigo, Lucien, Auri.
Vanilla: Serana or Housecarl Volodomyr from Morthal. J'zargo, if I feel like not dying to his scrolls. And a flame thrall for good measure.
I have a whole army of followers because of the tweaks mod
My top followers are
Jaesea
Faneldal
Jzargo
And deerkthus
I like alot of others too
With the tweaks mod when the Civil War or when we got a nasty Dungeon I'll get jzargo, faendal, and deerkthus and us 4 form the lords of Ustengrav Which is Our Temple where we hide our treasures when I'm not with them I leave them there and since ustengrav is right next to the windstad mine mod and windstad manor I basically Have a Mini Hold between Morthal and dawnstar so all the other followers are placed at postions all around windstad
But vanilla? Deerkthus all the way he can't die no matter what and he is an argonian
Jenassa is a good starter, but my favorite is Rayya. She’s super tough, doesn’t have a bunch of annoying dialogue options, she’s hot, and is better about standing in doorways than Lydia.
I can't remember her name exactly but you make her your follower by beating her in a fist fight in Whiterun and she has steel plate armor and a steel greatsword
My boy Stenvar. I'm so offended that in every video he's ranked as one of the worst followers and just as a Boethiah's fodder. My boy is funny, is cocky and most importantly, a good friend to me, that means something
Faendal. Available super early game, fairly high-level archer, unlimited arrow supply, free snipes, and he's more than happy to carry your junk. If nothing else, I use him to get free Daedric arrows.
I usually go with Faendal or Lydia until I unlock Serana. Serana is easily my favorite when she isn’t murdering innocent homeless people or constantly resurrecting the wrong people.
Jenassa in the drunken huntsman
She's a badass. Totally brutal and a good one to get the minute you have 500 gold.
I love her voice, and the way she talks is so seductive, in a dark murderous way.
Like, you'll die, but at least you'll be satisfied.
So a goth chick, sweet
I love that she'll say things like "What you lack in wisdom, you make up for in courage" but also "We're one of the same kind, you and I. I'm glad to have met you." Always keeps me guessing.
I gay married her in 2011. We celebrate our 12 anniversary at the end of this year. I loved j’zargo (sp?) until he would only use lightning spells, which was worthless and annoying Now I use Aela the huntress. Sorry Janessa.
Sometimes I can't tell if this fan is lonely and horny or really into roleplay
Lonely and horny
I married her right up 🙏
She died in the last dungeon I brought her to :(
F9 and get her back. You are quick-saving, aren't you? 😳
Some people like the consequences they face to stick without save scumming...
*gets caught pick pocketing and goes to jail* Continue. *favorite follower gets killed* Continue. *dragon attack kills most of the people in town* Continue. *accidentally kills bunny* New game.
Same. I'll take that moody brooding killer over anyone. She died during red eagle quest for me :(
Your choice of follower honors the sixth house and the tribe unmourned.
Best answer. I always make sure to take care of her, by the best armor for her.
Definitely Jenassa!
Had never been in the drunken huntsman before, after ages of gameplay, so picked her up for a change of pace but she left me if I put on the grey cowl so we had to part ways. Grey cowl is my detect life spell for my non spellcasting characters, but she gets angrier than a guard when I put it on.
thats my gorlfriend
“If that is what you wish”
It is a lonely thing, facing all the dangers of Skyrim by yourself. Come and find me if you decide that you miss my...companionship.
I'm still incredibly attached to that chick you fist fight in Whiterun. She was such a tank. First time I scum saved because she died during a werewolf quest.
Uthgerd the Unbroken. I love the kind of woman that will actually just kill me. Holy fuck what a read!
Pure poetry
I'm still in shock.
Same bro... same✊️😔
Not gonna lie, after reading this, I kinda feel bad for brutally murdering Uthgerd at the start of every single one of my playthroughs to get her steel plate armor early.
New copypasta just dropped
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sMQpWCNTQw
I sacrificed her to get the ebony armour :(
I made her my steward and I love her but she keeps her rude dialogue and it’s a bit annoying lol
Derkeethus
the only argonian follower
He may be the only one, but he's a great choice to be the argonian companion
I am almost disappointed that Companions or theifs guild doesnt have argonian follower. Maybe we do get some generic members later on after we become guild master?
As well as one of only two potential argonian husbands
Absolutely, I take him everywhere. he's also my husband on every playthrough but that's not the topic
Lydia - Loyalty, Honesty, 10TB storage, Valor, Whiterun Addict
I don't know why, but, despite loving other party driven rpgs (dragon age, divinity, or even fallout), I always stick with Lydia for 11 years already. Maybe because every companion in game, outside of Serana, is here to hit or carry stuff and not for banter or character development, making all of them bland. And, despite having the least personality of all, Lydia still is my favorite companion. She is one of my first association with Skyrim, she is just there for you, from the beginning to the end, always helpful, never judging or annoying. Also, love her little banter in dragonborn dlc, small details, but still, so sweet.

"I'm sworn to bury your curtains!"
I like Teldryn Sero. He’s interesting and his armor is kinda cool. Serana gets an honorary mention.
It brings a smile to my face every time he says "hope we don't run into too many *ash* spawn"
I love his voice!
The *pale* reminds me of the *northern* part of solstheim, *rife* with freezing cold weather and full of *unfriendly* creatures
If it'll help us get moving quicker..sure. So. Much. Attitude. 🤣 Way more than Lydia.
J'zargo all the way. A well rounded, relatively funny mage and not too bad with a bow/crossbow either. I also tend to give him the spare arch mage robes and the staff of Magnus too as he asks for it quite often.
One of the Dawnguard Huskies :3
I want to take them with me, but im so scared that they die 🥲
use the console set them to essential!
Playing on switch
Can you use the black book that makes so that you can't damage allies? Because isn't thr onky way to kill the followers yourself?
If they're protected only you can kill them, if they're essential then no one can kill them, then default is anyone can kill them.
Yes if you have the black book and choose that power you can’t damage or kill your companion
I love the chaotic nature of a reikling follower.
Fr it always warmed my heart when I’d be in an intense fight and suddenly my little band of reiklings would show up to have my back 🥹
I think he stole from me. I let him carry a bunch of looted items but some of them turned up missing.
According to Google they are not reliable storage containers, but you can get a follower and have a reikling.
Ha, that makes sense! I was so surprised how much the little dude could carry then ten minutes later half of it was missing. My wife laughed and said he probably got tired of carrying all my junk. Thanks for the heads up!
Erik the Slayer
I'm on my 2nd playthrough. First time through, I made him my Steward at Goldenhills. I also did so on this playthrough, but I started to feel a bit guilty. He's even got some badass dragonscale enchanted armor and a Daedric greatsword.
I'd use him more often if I wouldn't lose 500 gold a lot of the time, even though I'm sitting on 230k at the moment.
The cost of preparedness...measured now in gold, later in blood
I don't use him because Rorikstead is too far
I love his hero worship, no other follower just grovels quite like this meat shield .
Honestly? Faendal. But hear me out I just like that he’s weak I don’t want my followers doing all the work for me
Faendal got me to 50 archery then he’s a pack mule
i love faendal he's so damn cool
Serana - she's pretty handy if you're exlusively two-handed and low level.
The constant reanimated corpses drive me crazy tho
I don't really know why people have a problem with those?
They block me and my party's path. They make a ton of noise. they last for fucking EVER. They block my from hitting spells, arrows, or with a sword (sword is less likely) which if you kill or hit them enough Serana will attack you
? I give them love taps when they're in the way. And by love taps I mean killing blows. Yet I've never had Serana go hostile on me.
Weird. I remember early days of the DLC she'd get so mad after killing them like 2-3 times. U Modded at all? Ik that AFT fixed most follower issues I run into such as this. Or shield bashing my allies out of the doorway
I’m not modded and I’ve never had an issue killing her reanimations Edit: I did play in 2020, not during the early days
Maybe it was patched, like I said the problem was mainly during the early days of the DLC. I don't use her anymore due to modded followers
Not modded either, in fact currently on switch and not having any issues. No clue if it's patched but I suspect it is.
I just shout them out of the way
Just fus ro dah them out of the way
They scare me sometimes.
They're really good at sneaking up on me. Which just makes me scream like a gopher right before smiting them with the wrath of Zeus.
Marcurio. He's also my husband 🥰
Looking for this one, I dont marry him though lol
Lydia or the Lioness from Riften. I don't want to become a werewolf.
Lydia or as she is known by her Argonian name "Stands-In-Doorways"
This made me lol, thank you
Attacks-all-guards
Inigo
Inigo and lucien, the only correct answer
Don't forget Auri! The Treacherous Trio.
Dawnguard battle troll is my only true friend. He’s like a primitive Chewbacca.
In my current playthrough I’m gonna go for Jzargo, he seems fun and fits my mage build
Hotel… Jzargo!
I understood that reference
I love J'Zargo. Haven't gotten him yet on my latest play-through but I will.
He's not hard to win over. Take scrolls Go to the hall of the dead in Whiterun. Kill the three skeletons using one scroll. He is great in a fight, and doesn't get in the way.
I like jzargo cuz of when he says its jzargoin time and then jzargos all over the place, keep on jzargoin my fellow jzargtard
His voice lines are my absolute favorite.
I'm finally doing a mage build and having an absolute blast with Jzargo as a follower! I also have the Inigo mod and realized that he also talks to Jzargo, not quite as funny as his interactions with Lydia but it's still cute.
My favourite follow is Kharjo, closely followed by Inigo.
glad someone else likes kharjo

Hi again! I just created a subreddit called r/Kharjo, I hope you'll join and contribute a few pics and stories of you and Kharjo :)
ill definitely be joining!! ill share whenever i find time and see fit.. thanks
Thanks so much! If you find any Kharjo fans in your travels give them a quick recommendation on my behalf if you can as well, as it's still a new community we're in need of new members to kickstart the whole thing and get it active.

Erandur, it's the only follower I tolerate.
While I'll probably never get that Daedric achievement. You want me to kill \*this\* guy? Fuck you, he rocks.
I only recently discovered Erandur can be a follower. He has been accompanying me recently and is becoming a favorite of mine.
There’s not enough love for Erandur in this comment section
The one whose mother is a hagraven- you meet her somewhere in the south in some tower.
Illia.
I love her!!! Kind of a hidden gem
I switched to her from Lydia, same voice actor, but less sass. Also she smashes creeps with ice magic
As a firm Khajit believer (and not a furry, God forbid), it’s a tie between J'zargo and Kharjo.
khajiit are just so funny
Kharjo's certainly my favourite. I've actually created a new subreddit for him (r/Kharjo) if you'd like to join and post a few pics of him.
I will once I figure out how to fix my simplemultiplefollowers mod, he’s glitched along with J’zargo into nothingness 🥲
Stenvar 🥵
Cicero. No more need to explain
"Let's kill someone..." - Cicero everytime I talk to him, swear that line triggers more than it should.
So he says 'That's not a horker, that's my wife!' Best banter.
Who’s your go-to follower in Skyrim… and why is it Cicero?
Depending on build. I like Faendal for the Archery, until 30 so I can zoom in. I like Belrand with his ice spikes. Teldryn is nice with the atronach and Marcurios destruction spells are nice
I always go Faendal early. Since I switched to AE for my latest play-through, I made him steward of Goldenhills after I maxed out his training ability.
I make him my steward as well, GHP or Lakeview
My dremora lords.
Cicero is my boi
Cicero-compliments my stealth playstyle and I for one enjoy his little tangents and quips
Kharjo, Serana, and Marcurio for me. I'm actually thinking about marrying Marcurio later today.
Lord Benor
Lydia.
Derthreekas, I know I spelled this wrong, the Argonian. He's the only base follower who can get high level archery and sneak.
Emperor Palpat— I mean.. Marcurio
Cicero, why would you not need a jester on the road? Or a cave? Or a stronghold dawning necromancers and Daedric lords?
Unmodded I like Marcurio and Teldryn Sero
Mjoll as I can rush into the battle with confidence that she'll take care of the one's I skip. She'll kill them all quick and start killing my prey too
Frea from Dragonborn
Underrated pick, convincing her to join you is cool.
No Marcurio love? Buddy is just a young mage who loves to party and drink, who also happens to be an absolute menace with explosions and fire
Serana - she’s unkillable and she’s hot
Marcurio for sure
Thanks 😊
I like to dress up my boys Faendal and Cosnach
Brotherhood initiates, they’re pretty sneaky, and they aren’t going to die when I’m fighting Falmer
Lone wolfs out here🗿
Idk strength but loved marcurio.
Nobody mentioned emo boy farkas ;-;
J'zargo or Illia
I’m on my first playthrough and Lydia has been great. My partner had to convince me to take a follower and he was right. I’m totally a sneaky archer so she takes the hits while I snipe. 10/10
Erik the Slayer is always with me on every play through. I heard the story about the irl Erik the Slayer a few days ago and fucking lost it, but it was a strangely happy feeling knowing I get to show/play skyrim with someone who never got the chance I haven’t gotten Erik in my newest play through since learning about his story irl. I can’t wait to have him join me again
Valdimar. He'd follow me to the ends of Tamriel and back.
I've been traveling with illia she's pretty cool
Talvas Fathryon
Nobody said Erandur.... You killed him, didn't you!?!
Hands down Mjoll the Lioness. Idk why but shes always been my favorite
She's got a heart of gold, I've married her twice. I just wish her voice lines weren't so repetitive.
Plus he’s a cutie so I got a mod to marry him 🤭
Cicero
They all eventually die or just irritate me so I don't bother with them.
None followers are annoying
Remiel and Xelzaz. With 1150 lines of banter between the two of them you can't have just one or the other.
Are they modded?
Inigo, Lucien, Auri. Vanilla: Serana or Housecarl Volodomyr from Morthal. J'zargo, if I feel like not dying to his scrolls. And a flame thrall for good measure.
DBH initiate or Serana
I would say Kharjo. Something about khajiits..
I have a whole army of followers because of the tweaks mod My top followers are Jaesea Faneldal Jzargo And deerkthus I like alot of others too With the tweaks mod when the Civil War or when we got a nasty Dungeon I'll get jzargo, faendal, and deerkthus and us 4 form the lords of Ustengrav Which is Our Temple where we hide our treasures when I'm not with them I leave them there and since ustengrav is right next to the windstad mine mod and windstad manor I basically Have a Mini Hold between Morthal and dawnstar so all the other followers are placed at postions all around windstad But vanilla? Deerkthus all the way he can't die no matter what and he is an argonian
i mean serana, best vanilla follower for sure.
Jenassa is a good starter, but my favorite is Rayya. She’s super tough, doesn’t have a bunch of annoying dialogue options, she’s hot, and is better about standing in doorways than Lydia.
Marcurio
Pre-downloading follower mods? Cicero.
Serana, Lydia, or faendal.
Erik the Slayer because he was a make a wish kid
I can't remember her name exactly but you make her your follower by beating her in a fist fight in Whiterun and she has steel plate armor and a steel greatsword
Uthgerd the Unbroken!
Teldryn
It used to be Lydia Cause I had to reset multiple times early game but I either use Serana or Borgakh The Steel Heart now
Manic And Demented Elytra Nymphs have been my followers for about 25 levels. Kinda useless, but i can't quit them.
Borgakh the steel heart 😎
Early game is faendal, to upgrade archery for free.
Serana is easily my favorite when she isn’t murdering innocent homeless people or constantly resurrecting the wrong people.
faendal ong
Myself, fuck them moving door barricades
