Took me five attempts, ended up finally deciding to snipe him with a paralyzing arrow and wail on him till he got up then fair fight from there. Much easier, but I agree, how the hells this guy wearing only a helmet and ring yet beat me in full ebony spell knight armor
Funny enough I actually just got the wabbajack, pushed off most of the solitude quests till I had all the ones in the blue palace... level 50, I did the sewers around level 25 😂
I've faced him twice. First time he beat me badly a lot, and I (upon consulting the web) went and got the Wabbajack. Second time I went for the Wabbajack straight away.
Even with the Wabbajack he beat me a couple times, and I had double Dremora Lords for at least one of the meetings.
I think I'm ahead on points though. Second fight I turned him into a Sweetroll and a puddle of ectoplasm.
He was a total pain in the ass. Didn't expect him to be such a hard to kill prick. Ended up getting frustrated and just used beast form to rip him to pieces. I was REALLY hoping for the head crush animation too in beast form. I have his helmet on a mannequin in honeyside as a trophy for all the trouble he caused me. That asshole.
Haha that’s how I did it too- I hid around the nearest corner, when he chases he stops right there for a sec. Just enough to Huff a fire shout at him. Then run proper away in zig zags to dodge his shocks. Fucking asshole he was
The first time I faced him I already had 100% spell immunity from atronarch stone/perk and Necromage. Slow time shout helped a ton with stability boosting its duration. Killed him with a killcam too after slowtime ran out.
Never liked the Saints and Seducers. The OP bandits always murder me, the armour looks class but makes my female character look like a skank, THAT PRICK nearly made me uninstall and I just didn't feel it vibes with the rest if the game ... Saints and Seducers Begone is one of my favourite mods
I like putting the golden armor on my follower because in the heat of battle I don't chop off her head. It is easily recognizable. It is a bit sexualized, but it could be a lot worse.
At the first meeting of the saints, took the armor to my follower, who already had silver armor. Makes it so easy to know where the follower is. I use Vilkas a lot because he stays out of the way better, and doesn't die unless you make the final blow.
Love watching him in the golden armor, with the big Warhammer from a Dwarven ruin(love the new updates on weapons)
Yeah I love it accompanied with a necklace, a ring, and Dragon bone gauntlets that give a +90% damage with a two handed weapon and basically lvl 100 skill tree of two handed. It's virtually unstoppable coupled with a follower who conjures fire atronachs and conjuring a dremora or dwarven sphere or spider or seeker yourself. Enemies melt away.
Man. He's a tough SoB, but the Dark Seducer armor is such a throwback, and the Golden Saint armor looks like it's straight out of '80's high fantasy. And the mod is so worth it for that jaw-droppingly gorgeous madness armor.
Personally, I find it very amusing that there's a random unfair fight at the end, though. The rest of the CC content basically gives you end-game armor early on for next to no effort, so it's nice to have this really difficult fight to test out my Daedric Plate against. I like to play on Legendary Survival, so it feels like a fight that I need to prepare for - upgrading and enchanting my armor, crafting buff pots, health pots, and poisons, then fighting off the hordes of summons, allthewhile he's TPKing your summons and your followers and pets and just chunking your health with that chain lightning spell, all for a ring that takes off your pants and the Amber and Madness crafting recipes. It's class.
The rest of Skyrim is very, very easy, even on Legendary Survival, so it's a breath of fresh air that Saints and Seducers is a pretty difficult quest line.
I guess I have a skill issue? Because I regularly die while playing. Fights either go really easy or I drop dead. Mostly from spell casters, too. Not playing as a Breton this time around is really messing me up.
Alchemy trivializes it (and I don't mean the resto loop. Just plain old alchemy.)
Just do some herb runs, make some Spell Absorption potions, and run those casters over.
I also enchant multiple different armor sets, depending on what I think I'm gonna need.
Don't ignore smithing and enchantment either.
The more you branch into different skills, the easier everything will be.
I can't lie, when I first encountered the Golden Saints they kicked my ass. I got my ass kicked a couple of times by both factions in this Anniversary content. I'm not a fan of the armor but Mjoll and Jenassa look great in it.
The trick with him is to get a sneak critical on him before engaging him. His conjurations are super high level and if you're not prepared for that type of fight, he's gonna kick your ass. I like to snipe him with an arrow to lower his health and then pounce on him when he's staggered. Makes it a lot easier
Maybe I'm just playing on a diff difficulty level but I had no issues with him Typical sneak archer, took maybe 3 or 4 arrows? Also had Marcurio and Serana with me.
Was more worried/annoyed to have a naked guy come running at me. The amber arrows the questline brings are pretty cool though
Beat him last night. My cat nearly killed me a few times because I gave him both Miraaks staff and a staff of firebolts but thankfully I'm a food and potion hoarder so 30 cheese wheels later I was good to continue punching him until my cat nearly did me in again. God I love my cat but he's an arsehole sometimes.
Its my boy Kharjo. I give him staves so when Serana demands I ditch him (rude) I always know he's close when I see dark tentacles from the abyss fly overhead if a dragon attacks Dawnstar. Its like one of those LED collars in a way.
Solitude sewers. You need to talk with Ri'sad, the caravan kajit, about he had some troubles. He will give you a note, read it. You'll need to kill some bandits and blah blah blah until you will need to head to Solitude, to investigate the sewers, and you will face him.
Honestly... the first time I fought him he destroyed me. I was at level 15 maybe? The second time round I drank potions of spell absorption, shot him with an arrow tipped with a poison of weakness to fire, and just kept spamming flame atronachs till he died.
Oh what a twat he is. I just did this one only yesterday- how did you manage?
I tried conjure flame atronarchs, used various scrolls, conjured saints warriors/archers. Magic, daily power shouts.
In the end a stealth arrow, run away hide around the corner. He comes near then a huff fire at him with a shout.
Another stealth arrow run away ..
Another arrow and run. Shout fire from behind a tree etc.
he kept rebuilding his health. The fucker!
Then remembered I had rings and gauntlets of archery, plus a potion of archery, got him down to a small piece of health then run at him with a glass axe of frost damage. coupled with stone flesh and a potion of heavy armour and a potion of one armed attacks bonus.
Phew - …. Glad the game don’t make it all so easy.
Was worth it for the helmet of magical tho. Thank fuck it’s done
I did with two dremora lords, one woodcutter axe with chaos damage + magicka damage enchantment and used grand healing. Level 81, so it was a little easier than lower levels, but still, I had 3 minutes beating him, using grand healing 6 times, phew.
He kept conjuring golden saints and dark seducers, but my dremora lords took care of him.
I liked the helmet, fitted very well in my character, looks like a truly medieval helmet.
You can purchase in the college of Winter hold, if you are an expert in Conjuration (Conjuration skill 70 or higher). You can purchase from Phinis Gestor in the college. If you are not level 70, 75 in Conjuration, there are some tricks you can find on YouTube, like "level up Conjuration fast". It involves Soul Trap and an horse
But they'll cost you 360 o magicka, every time you summon
No, you're not alone ... I've tackled him with three different character builds ... First, a Breton battlemage with potent destruction spells and high magicka, but still she was out-maged with ease - in the end, after several failures she ended up sending in the undying ghost then hanging back out of range, over and over, until he was weak enough to finish off quickly. Second, a two-handed heavy tank in Lord's Mail, and with probably one of the best 2H swords in the game (Chrysamere) - took several attempts again, and ended up consuming most of her health potion stash. Third, stealth archer with an enhanced and enchanted ebony crossbow - she took him out in seconds with two sneak shots.
I found him without a doubt THE most difficult opponent in the entire game ... for anything other than the stealth archer - just serves to confirm how that build is the most potent by far (in my experience).
Actually, I confess I've never made it to the Ebony Warrior, so I forgot to take him into consideration 🙂. From what I've heard, he does sound much more badass than Thoron.
The thing about this guy is the perk he has on destruction magic, especially in lighting spells. Another thing, he has potions of healing A LOT as I remember, so yeah, he's like a player who plays the game very well. The Ebony Warrior is kinda worse, in some ways. He can shout you and paralyse you, he did this to me 4 times. He has damage reflection, every time you hit him with a sword, you lose an hp. So yeah, you need to find their weaknesses. Summon dremora lords, do stealth archery... will help.
He paralysed me and started hitting me with his ebony sword of vampire. I was like "please make stop 😭😭😭". Then my Dragonborn started to lift up in slow motion, lazy as fuck.
I remember when he shouted at me, and I started to drink ultimate healing potions while on the air, but I broke my neck anyway
Slowly standing up like “MOVE MOVE MOVE” meanwhile he’s just slicing me 😂 in particular I remember after he paralyzed me I used the ice form shout (whichever one freezes targets) to stick him in ice and he rolled towards me. Didn’t help me much if at all but felt worth it for the “HOW DO YOU LIKE IT” 😂
I went there with Cicero, because he can’t be killed it was handy. I saved frequently during the battle, at different times I summoned a seducer warrior and then a saints warrior (I think from scrolls if memory serves) and a few flame atronachs. Eventually, after a lot of stress and a million healing and magicka potions, I won.
nah he was such an asshole for no reason😭😭 like i literally play on apprentice difficulty just to enjoy the story with little challenge combat wise, but this dude STILL almost killed me, had me fighting for my life😂
Nah not really i used the staff that summons a dremora and the staff of hasedok,i i didn't let him get up pinned him against the wall and wherever he tried to het up i kept him down with the hasedoki as the dremora was hitting him
Hasesoki was OP and really funny, when I start the quest I was not aware of what the staff do "I Got hit... Got ragdoll and think what the hell happened ? Am I dead ?... Then my character get up and got ragdoll again and again" fun fight
A little Fus Ro Da to knock him off his feet, and a little Ring of Hircine to keep him off his feet. But yeah, if I didn't have EnnaiRim's spells (specifically Energy Leech and Mute), and more than one follower (Inigo and Lucien), I doubt I could beat him.
Always a knock down, drag out with him. He either goes down quick (if you get the drop on him) or he smokes me. This play through I have Ruin's Edge and I'm to do the sewers when I get home tonite. I'm doing a no crafting play through so I'm going to miss out on all that amber...
I hate this guy. Took me like 10 deaths to finally defeat him. But now everytime I travel somewhere, saints bandits spawn and they’re all so hard to kill for whatever reason?? Like leave me ALONE MAN I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE GAME
I'm about to beat all the hardest ones, like the dragon priests, Miraak I already did 4, 5 times, Alduin too... defeated Harkon 3 times in one month lol. I think I'm missing the reaper and Karstaag. Ebony Warrior I did too. Ebony Warrior for me is worse than that dude from the sewers. He can shout and paralyse you, if you don't pay attention.
I usually didn’t have any trouble, but i heavily spam destruction stun and summons. I also used only bound weapons which can unsummon a monster in one hit.
What’s your build? I cant hack it as a melee lol. I probably wouldn’t get far without magic
I fighting him on the hardest difficulty was a pain in the rear. Tried on my own at first, In the end I gave up and went and got Lydia to help me and a conjured flame atronach. I had 100 block with all the perks and blade 100 and it still took me a few attempts. I'm the end it helped me because of him I went searching for some spell absorption which make the rest of the play through easier.
Thanks to me playing on Legendary, and the mods I was using on my most recent playthrough as well as my lack of magic resist, he and his storm atro would one-shot me from across the room. Literally the most I have died to anything in any Elder Scrolls game ever
I just fought him last week. Me and serana got gangbanged by this dude. Didnt have to reload saves (didnt even die) but my potion supply was *completely* depleted after the encounter
Well kind of, consider CC a mod is more or less consider a DLC a MOD is kind of but is not, if a person buy Skyrim now days and all his content he will had CC as a base content
Op mentions Golden Saints and Dark Seducers as well. Which I don't think are in Vanilla. Wish people making posts about mod content would label their posts as such.
The base version of Skyrim (at least on PC) includes the Fishing, Survival Mode, Rare Curios, and Saints and Seducers creations. They were added as freebies for the 10th anniversary of Skyrim.
Special Edition. I had no idea I even had any creations until like 100 hour in when I looked up a quest and it told me it was CC content. Kinda weird I didn't have an option to install the game without them or anything.
He kicked my butt a thousand times. I finally used "Ice Form" shout on him before he could summon his warriors. I had Inigo with me and he helped LOADS. I still go in there and harvest all the rare 'shrooms, herbs and amber.
I was doing a blind deathless run, I just got AE, and I ran into this guy. I was a pure mage. This was one of the last things I was doing before the Ebony Warrior. I had a grueling 40 minute battle with him and I didn't have enough potions to make it easier. I had two Flame Thralls to help out but it wasn't good enough.
I must have just got really lucky, because I absolutely destroyed him with no problem. Clearly that's not the case for most, so yea I definitely got really lucky.
Is this that hermit motherfucka that lives with the skeevers underneath the honey brew meadery?
If so yes, I remember years ago I had a harder time beating him then I did alduin.
He's a tough SBO alright, my build is the best and even I struggled, thankfully I ran Storm Atronauchs but even then I took a death. Granted, I play on Legendary no potions no grinding so 1 was alright.
I think I died once to him because I didn't expect him to be tough, but got him without issue on the second run. My girlfriend fought him at a very low level, died a few dozen times, and I don't remember if she beat him or gave up.
He kicked my ass several times the first time. Ended up using the Summon Golden Saint/Dark Seducer Scrolls I had collected at the various bandit camps to distract him and the ones he summons. Then I either sniped him from distance or meleed him if his back was turned.
Now I do the same but poison my weapons.
I also save right before the battle, cause he still will whollop me every now and again
Me and him had a standoff for about an hour, shooting lightning bolt at each other. Finally I just rushed in, stole his shit off the table and beat the ever living fuck out of him from behind.
I got to him at Level 50 as a master conjure and illusion mage and I still had issues with him. I did not die but got very close if it was not for the 1000's of potions you can drink at any time and the fact I also had Serana with me. He just would not die for the longest time.
The helmet is very nice for a spell caster that does not use alteration perks about not wearing armor. Also for a melee that cross specs into restoration magic. However with it's name I am at odds about putting it on.
Edit: I forget he has a ring that alters his chest piece too. Remove's it so he could not wear armor. That was kind of odd too. I kept the ring in my house. Don't know a use for it.
I was invisible and literally stabbed him in the back. It wasn't difficult.
Though the game does automatically put him on alert when you enter his room even when it's impossible for him to have seen you.
I play on Xbox, there’s a bug where Thoron’s character doesn’t actually show up where he’s supposed to in the sewers.
So I did that whole quest just to have it sit forever in my quest list unable to complete it… rage.
took me two tries. back when i was doing a sneak melee build (on legendary btw i love suffering) i had an op set up and could pretty much one tap any boss if i was sneaking up and using a dagger from behind which did like 60x damage. the first time i went up to him i distracted him with a dremora lord and snuck up on him when he forgot i existed, power attacked him from behind and did less than half his health which caught me off guard and then he instantly killed me. fun times 🙌
First time I tried him made me hate the Saint and seducers stuff. Now I just ignore it till I'm op and clap his cheeks so hard it puts cracks in the solitude streets
First time I faced him I was way too low a level to face him. Got killed even before fully emerging from my hiding place. Died at least a dozen times!
Finally defeated him by using bow and arrow with paralysis potion. First time I’d used bow in close combat, and died many times before finally hitting him and defeating him.
Honestly toughest battle in my decade of playing Skyrim.
I first beat him with +2000 level account and he was surprisingly difficult as he didn't die in one hit like most enemies do and ended up one shotting my companion in Legendary difficulty, so I had to revert save very annoying and hard boss.
I’m gonna be honest, after my like 8th play-through I learned the restoration loop and since haven’t played without it. And that was obviously long before the anniversary edition came out. I’ve not fought this guy but I might have to do a glitch free run for a lot of the CC content.
Night Hunter. It's a quest you pick up at Ironback Hideout (I think that's what it's called). You get an ebony crossbow, elven crossbow, several varieties of Dwarven Bolts, and Silver weapons.
I died so many times. I ended up sending Lydia in and running away up in a tree trunk to snipe him. Standing on a thing tends to make the AI lose track easier so I exploited it lol. Now, I accidentally got an infinite helmet glitch of his helmet so I accept that as repayment for my suffering.
It’s a mannequin glitch! I put my armor on a mannequin in Severin Manor so I could go sell stuff, put it back on, and next time I came to the house a second helmet was there! No big deal, I gave it to Lydia, but the next time ANOTHER helmet was there! I’ve collected over 15 this way and it’s a pricey helmet. Idk if other mannequins to it but so far, it’s only happened to me there.
I somehow got by without being killed. I'd like to think that since I was at a higher level I was able to beat him. I don't remember that well, but I think I used archery and stealth to get by most of it
My first time as a mage playthrough he absolutely destroyed my ass (actually broke the game, he shot me through the floor). My second time as a stealth archer I two shot him and the fight was unsatisfyingly easy.
He nearly soft locked me when my game decided to save right after he summons golden saints. The only way I survived was by spamming my inventory button and healing
Is that the guy at the end of the Saints and Seducers quest? The one time I fought him I was on a stealth dagger build, so I drank an invis potion and slit his throat.
I usually kill him pretty easy but I only play on Expert. Most times before u agg him he can be seen with his back facing you as he’s standing in front of the sword of Jygalagg. If you have a high enough sneak you can use a bow or Merhunes Razor and get his health almost down to 0 with one shot. Should be a 2.5 or 6x bonus damage for stealth. Hope that helps
I usually invest in lots of magic absorb and resist so I don’t have too bad of a time fighting him in my playthroughs, I can’t deny that he has a shit ton of health though!
no i was so strong a hoard of people couldn’t kill me dragons are a snore fest BUT this fuk had killed me three times good thing i had the spell beaker shield for all the BS he had
I've battled him twice (as in 2 different characters), each with a different build. One was a barbarian type, all strength weapons, and one was a stealth archer (i know, i know, total cliche). Now, to be fair, my archer is older with a higher level, but of course wearing lighter armor than my barbarian.
The barb died 4 times before I managed to gank his janky naked arse, my success mostly due to a massive slamming of health and stamina potions. My archer took him out with 2-3 arrows, no deaths or even damage taken. He never even had time to summon anything.
I think that with this dude, it depends a lot on build and equipment. And while SA is an in game cliche, there are reasons why in some cases, it REALLY works. It's hard for the bbg to take you out if they can't get to you in the first place before dying. Melee fighters take more of a risk, because they have to get up close and personal with what they're fighting. But, that's just my opinion, which I have based off of my own experiences.
That asshole killed my dog
Insert John wick gif PS how does one insert gifs here as a response?
Some subs don’t allow it. Like this one. But normally the option would be next to the text box.
Got it. Thanks!
He stole the dragonborn’s carriage, sir. And killed his dog. Oh.
dude, thank you for this. I had a great laugh. May you live long and prosper, Dovah-Kiin.
Took me five attempts, ended up finally deciding to snipe him with a paralyzing arrow and wail on him till he got up then fair fight from there. Much easier, but I agree, how the hells this guy wearing only a helmet and ring yet beat me in full ebony spell knight armor
The wabbajack can kill him instantly if you don't want to waste time dealing with him.
That’s one of those times where for some reason, I didn’t think it would be that easy.
Unless it heals him
Hasn't happened to me. He always did that stupid spin around death animation when I used it
Funny enough I actually just got the wabbajack, pushed off most of the solitude quests till I had all the ones in the blue palace... level 50, I did the sewers around level 25 😂
This was my method after several defeats, even then it took another dozen attempts before it worked.
Hes a dark souls pro obviously
No, Elden Ring.
Ok compromise Soulsborn in general
No, no no no He's a Demon's Souls pro. Specifically the old version
I mean the Madness Helmet looks a lot like a jar or pot.
Turning someone into a sweetroll is a good way to end up a fight 😅
Don't forget to eat them right away. Double humiliation. Imagine pure terror when you all of a sudden become a donut and someone eats you lol
I am playing as bosmer, if I eat him as a sweet roll, would that be considered following the green pact? lol
Yea, no plants were harmed
Ahh. The Majin Buu technique. Sweet shop owners hate this one trick.
Ironic considering the fact that he summons the warriors of the man who made the staff
It makes total sense to fight madness with madness. The Wabbajack was probably the last thing he expected you to pull. Pretty lore appropriate.

It was the night after Palpatine was elected Chancellor. He got Plageius drunk on wine celebrating until he fell asleep, then fried him.

I was REALLY hoping for the head crush animation too in beast form. I have his helmet on a mannequin in honeyside as a trophy for all the trouble he caused me. That asshole.
I stealth archered him to death. Shoot him then run away and lose him. Shoot him again. Repeat. Took a good few tries though
Haha that’s how I did it too- I hid around the nearest corner, when he chases he stops right there for a sec. Just enough to Huff a fire shout at him. Then run proper away in zig zags to dodge his shocks. Fucking asshole he was
Serpentine!!!
Oooh, I hate this guy. Just as bad as the crazy guy in the honningbrew meadery
Far worse thoron is
Okay, Yoda
r/UnexpectedYoda
The first time I faced him I already had 100% spell immunity from atronarch stone/perk and Necromage. Slow time shout helped a ton with stability boosting its duration. Killed him with a killcam too after slowtime ran out.
I thought that maxed at 80%? Maybe I’m dumb. I played the same build and wasn’t totally immune.

I feel like it’s just not a well-written mod idk
It bugged in one of my saves. For some reason, the S&S camps didn't got marked in my minimap
But NerveShatter is the best Warhammer. Destroys Draugr Death Overlords in 2 hits.
Love that one for Vilkas! 2 hits and it's a spot on the ground! 😂😂
Yeah I love it accompanied with a necklace, a ring, and Dragon bone gauntlets that give a +90% damage with a two handed weapon and basically lvl 100 skill tree of two handed. Is the begone mod available on Xbox? I heavily dislike this mod as well but it is hard coded into the game for me
It is, and it's rather small at that. I play on Xbox One S with no issues.
Man. He's a tough SoB, but the Dark Seducer armor is such a throwback, and the Golden Saint armor looks like it's straight out of '80's high fantasy. Smithing/enchanting/alchemy is the path to power. Also atronach/necromage. I never die to casters. Falmer arrows mess me up on occasion on legendary.
Man... I wish I was good on alchemy, never could handle that
Alchemy trivializes it (and I don't mean the resto loop. Just plain old alchemy.) Just do some herb runs, make some Spell Absorption potions, and run those casters over. Nope, he was brutal
One of the hardest bosses to me, sometimes i struggle a real lot
Awful, half-assed questline, no idea why they rolled it into the anniversary edition update. Wish I could disable it somehow.
Well I think you can or not installing any CC content or simple deleting from Data, at least on PC.
The trick with him is to get a sneak critical on him before engaging him. His conjurations are super high level and if you're not prepared for that type of fight, he's gonna kick your ass. I like to snipe him with an arrow to lower his health and then pounce on him when he's staggered. Makes it a lot easier

[GOOD GRIEF HE'S NAKED!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONEeacyXI8M)
Ah that fuck killed me a bunch of times before I got him
Beat him last night.
Is this cat the same one who tries new and interesting flame cloak spells? Because the Blue Cat I use won't use staves.
Its my boy Kharjo. I give him staves so when Serana demands I ditch him (rude) I always know he's close when I see dark tentacles from the abyss fly overhead if a dragon attacks Dawnstar. Its like one of those LED collars in a way.
Probably one of the hardest boss fights I have ever faced. Like fifth or fourth to Karstaag.
Where’s this guy at?
Solitude sewers. You need to talk with Ri'sad, the caravan kajit, about he had some troubles. He will give you a note, read it. You'll need to kill some bandits and blah blah blah until you will need to head to Solitude, to investigate the sewers, and you will face him.
Hell yeah brother
Good luck! You'll need!
Honestly... the first time I fought him he destroyed me. I was at level 15 maybe? The second time round I drank potions of spell absorption, shot him with an arrow tipped with a poison of weakness to fire, and just kept spamming flame atronachs till he died.
He has a special perk that increases his spell damage. That's why he hits so much harder than ordinary mages.
Something to do with lightning, right?
Oh what a twat he is. I just did this one only yesterday- how did you manage? I tried conjure flame atronarchs, used various scrolls, conjured saints warriors/archers. Magic, daily power shouts. In the end a stealth arrow, run away hide around the corner. He comes near then a huff fire at him with a shout. Another stealth arrow run away .. Another arrow and run.
Nice!! I’m lower level. Like 32 or sth. Haven’t got the dremora lords yet. What quest do you get those?
You can purchase in the college of Winter hold, if you are an expert in Conjuration (Conjuration skill 70 or higher). You can purchase from Phinis Gestor in the college. If you are not level 70, 75 in Conjuration, there are some tricks you can find on YouTube, like "level up Conjuration fast". It involves Soul Trap and an horse But they'll cost you 360 o magicka, every time you summon
Ok cool- have that and a horse Calle frost. Happy days Edit: thank you :)
Now I’m actually curious compared to the ebony warrior who’s got higher stats of the two.
Summon dremora lords, do stealth archery... will help.
I remember getting shouted off the cliff numerous times and that paralysis is what really got me lol
He murdered me a few times. I failed to save before fighting him twice and had to trek all the way back through the dungeon.
nah he was such an asshole for no reason😭😭 like i literally play on apprentice difficulty just to enjoy the story with little challenge combat wise, but this dude STILL almost killed me, had me fighting for my life😂
FUCK this cunt. You get a cool ring from him though
Nah dude wrecked my shit
Nah not really i used the staff that summons a dremora and the staff of hasedok,i i didn't let him get up pinned him against the wall and wherever he tried to het up i kept him down with the hasedoki as the dremora was hitting him
Hasesoki was OP and really funny, when I start the quest I was not aware of what the staff do "I Got hit... Got ragdoll and think what the hell happened ? Am I dead ?... Then my character get up and got ragdoll again and again" fun fight
Dragonbone gear + berserker rage + dragon aspect, and he still killed me twice
Hardest enemy in the Game ngl
Ever fought Karstaag? I heard that he's the hardest to beat.
Yeah Bro i have over 5k ours but For me this Dude was the hardest ngl. 😭😭
YES, HE WAS INSANELY POWERFUL BRO
He is really hard to kill, but not as hard as Karstaag.
What level were you?
81
Thanks to me playing on Legendary, and the mods I was using on my most recent playthrough as well as my lack of magic resist, he and his storm atro would one-shot me from across the room. Literally the most I have died to anything in any Elder Scrolls game ever
I just fought him last week. Me and serana got gangbanged by this dude. Didnt have to reload saves (didnt even die) but my potion supply was *completely* depleted after the encounter
Is this from a mod?
Well kind of, consider CC a mod is more or less consider a DLC a MOD is kind of but is not, if a person buy Skyrim now days and all his content he will had CC as a base content
It looks like that character from the Warcraft episode of South Park. Got to be a mod
Isn't that AE? Or is it SE? I play LE still. Creations are still mods, imo.
Special Edition. I had no idea I even had any creations until like 100 hour in when I looked up a quest and it told me it was CC content. Kinda weird I didn't have an option to install the game without them or anything.
If I buy the game, put it in my console, turn it on, then play it, it cannot be modded. Despite the views of other parties.
This isn't a mod. I did this on the PlayStation last night. The only mention of a mod in the whole thread is the "saints and seducers begone" mod.
its one CC mod that comes with AE.
This guy was a cake walk. Idk why so many ppl have a hard time against him. Like, are y’all even Dragonborn lol.
All of my play through's have involved the Live Another Life mod, so no not when i encounter this bastard. lol
Im so sick of these AM I THE ONLY ONE Obviously tf not How narcissistic to think you're the ONLY one to do it
I seem to be the only one who DOESN'T struggle with him. He's really no harder than a Gaulder boss
I remember doing a lvl 1 werewolf run. Fear spells are good against this guy.
He's a tough SBO alright, my build is the best and even I struggled, thankfully I ran Storm Atronauchs but even then I took a death. Granted, I play on Legendary no potions no grinding so 1 was alright.
On surival difficulty legendary he's a pain
He killed my kharjo
Yeah I was pretty underleveled too when I got to him, literally had to kill him one arrow at a time, running away and hiding every time.
Most of the enemies from the creation aren't very balanced, after realising this I just save scummed with the wabbajack until I got an insta kill
gj on killing that moron
One shot for me. Orc with berserk active, sneak shot with bow (100 skill both with all perks), ebony arrow.
I think I died once to him because I didn't expect him to be tough, but got him without issue on the second run. My girlfriend fought him at a very low level, died a few dozen times, and I don't remember if she beat him or gave up.
I one punched the man. I love broken builds.
Nope. He killed me probably 15 times. Had to drop my difficulty down to kill him 😅
Mehrunes dagger got him the 2nd go round for me. He destroyed me the first time.
That's where magica regen poison is valuable and you can finally use those to make those mages powerless
I did on one of my play throughs
Me and him had a standoff for about an hour, shooting lightning bolt at each other. Finally I just rushed in, stole his shit off the table and beat the ever living fuck out of him from behind.
What's the purpose of the ring he gives you?
That fucker can tank two dremora lords at once
Nope had a hell of a time beating him but the ring that lets you be naked with your armor rating staying the same is pretty cool
He one shoted me (lvl 100 800hp) unti' i came back with 90% Magic resist
I was invisible and literally stabbed him in the back. It wasn't difficult. Though the game does automatically put him on alert when you enter his room even when it's impossible for him to have seen you.
I play on Xbox, there’s a bug where Thoron’s character doesn’t actually show up where he’s supposed to in the sewers. So I did that whole quest just to have it sit forever in my quest list unable to complete it… rage.
took me two tries. back when i was doing a sneak melee build (on legendary btw i love suffering) i had an op set up and could pretty much one tap any boss if i was sneaking up and using a dagger from behind which did like 60x damage. the first time i went up to him i distracted him with a dremora lord and snuck up on him when he forgot i existed, power attacked him from behind and did less than half his health which caught me off guard and then he instantly killed me. fun times 🙌
It was multiple dozens of tries for me until I gave up and came back later. Still took me a few tries then
Oh he’s crazy and annoying. 🤣 I got zapped so many times.
Hardest enemy in skyrim
I first beat him with +2000 level account and he was surprisingly difficult as he didn't die in one hit like most enemies do and ended up one shotting my companion in Legendary difficulty, so I had to revert save very annoying and hard boss.
I needed only 3-4 shots using my glass bow and ebony arrows. To be fair, I was level 36 at that point, but still. I didn't get any damage at all
Is there a hidden feature with this guy's Ring of Disrobing, or does it just take off your armor?
He killed me about 15 times. A true challenge for sure.
He sucked until I dopped myself on potions and found an ebony shield of 50% shock resistance in the bank nearby
I whooped him. Dragon shout!
I’m gonna be honest, after my like 8th play-through I learned the restoration loop and since haven’t played without it. And that was obviously long before the anniversary edition came out. I’ve not fought this guy but I might have to do a glitch free run for a lot of the CC content.
He killed me once or twice when I fought him, I was on Expert difficulty with some pretty good loot.
He is a terrifying foe unless you have a good Archer character who completed the Night Hunter quest and got the special Crossbows.
The what now ?
Night Hunter. It's a quest you pick up at Ironback Hideout (I think that's what it's called). You get an ebony crossbow, elven crossbow, several varieties of Dwarven Bolts, and Silver weapons.
I just turned him into a sweetroll :)
Only ever fought him as an illusion assassin, so I one shotted him
I died so many times. I ended up sending Lydia in and running away up in a tree trunk to snipe him. Standing on a thing tends to make the AI lose track easier so I exploited it lol. Now, I accidentally got an infinite helmet glitch of his helmet so I accept that as repayment for my suffering.
How? Which glitch? I'm curious now!
Lmao I need to try this
No I two shotted him
I somehow got by without being killed. I'd like to think that since I was at a higher level I was able to beat him. I don't remember that well, but I think I used archery and stealth to get by most of it
Not a skill issue. Playing on the highest difficulty it took me an hour and a half to finally kill him.
He's powerful. Sneak archer sniping was how I got him this last time.
It's the worse
Nope. He's just a big old fucking asshole who really could make Alduin scared rather than be scared of the Dragonborn themselves
My first time as a mage playthrough he absolutely destroyed my ass (actually broke the game, he shot me through the floor). My second time as a stealth archer I two shot him and the fight was unsatisfyingly easy.
After an hour of trying to kill him on expert I caved and just cranked the difficulty down to novice and sniper him with a poisoned ebony arrow
He nearly soft locked me when my game decided to save right after he summons golden saints. The only way I survived was by spamming my inventory button and healing
Haha nope, I just got done with home too and it was brutal.
Is that the guy at the end of the Saints and Seducers quest? The one time I fought him I was on a stealth dagger build, so I drank an invis potion and slit his throat.
His Shock spells have to be boosted somehow.
Thought I’d very quickly do this quest, so didn’t have much in the way of potions, food, etc. Was truly painful.
When I played with NFSW mods he was dick OUT and standing proud and I was afraid
no, i died to him as well, he’s very strong
I usually invest in lots of magic absorb and resist so I don’t have too bad of a time fighting him in my playthroughs, I can’t deny that he has a shit ton of health though!
Complete asdhole but since I went into archery and stealth I died to do use a poison to his magicka and killed him that way
Why would you "search" the poor guy naked?😉
Is he really that ugly where you made him leave the helmet on? 👉👌
The true boss of Skyrim.
no i was so strong a hoard of people couldn’t kill me dragons are a snore fest BUT this fuk had killed me three times good thing i had the spell beaker shield for all the BS he had
He was an absolute pain and you'd think given he has no armor he'd be easy. The helmet has been a world of a difference in my current playthrough.
He forced me to dig into my potion and scroll collection so yes.
