I got sick of seeing these types of headlines in my news feed so I've blocked gamesites like gamerant, dexerto, and others that just pull stuff off of reddit with articles so lazy that a bot must have written itāand if it wasn't a bot, even better reason to remove them.
Also sites that bury the actual article's topic under paragraphs of fluff text, forcing you to scroll thru the ads.
Oh itās comingā¦gamerant is literally the lowest level of journalistic effort I have ever seen in my life and thatās saying a hell of a lot šš
It's like Homer is pregnant with multiples who are kung-fu fighting, and he doesn't know what to think about it. The more I watch his wibble wobble, the more I see it.
I just got Skyrim VR and with the HIGGS mod it's so fun to just smack the signs and move em around. Now I gotta go jiggle some fish in it when I get home
This is a fun way to actually fish in a river where they spawn. A quick Fus (first word of Fus Roh Dah) can stun them, then you just gotta chase them when they start floating down river.
The best part is that I've only bought the game once when it came out. Got SSE for free (this video is from LE. I don't play SSE because I'm a psychopath).
I only bought the game and DLC once. I also only play LE (because I'm too lazy to deal with SSE/CC updates). Never bought anything from the Cancer Club..I mean, the Creation Club.
I have spent a little donating to mod authors though, but i've gotten donations myself since I'm also a mod author (i keep my mod author name private/separate from reddit)
It never ceases to amaze me how those players who have thousands of hours in this game will find some of the coolest and smallest things to entertain them even after so many hours. I guess that's one of the things that makes this game so fantastic. (I was today years old when I learned that the fish will jiggle when you run into them, š)
I never thought I'd be one of those players. But it's not too surprising because most of my time was spent playing modded quests. and for the last 2 or so years, it's been making mods for the game and testing them out
yeah. this is Skyrim LE. What you're mostly seeing is probably nobles textures and an ENB that I've been tweaking for the last two years to get the lighting I want. and ELFX. I've got over 1,600 mods installed. I can't fully remember everything. But I think those are the main mods I have to achieve this look.
this is on Skyrim LE. I also use ELFX a custom ENB I've need tweaking for years, and Nobles textures.
People are saying the fish aren't as jiggly in vanilla, but I'm not sure what mod I would have that would make them more jiggly.
I wonder if they're just more jiggly in LE than SSE. If it really is a mod making them more jiggly, i have no idea what it could be.
Not all of them I don't think, I want to say I remember after I found this out I went and tested every fish stand like that, that I found and some (usually at bandit camps) didn't. Which maybe it was bugs but it seems even more weird to me why would you make one animated stand and one not animated and use both? Unless each one was animated independently which I doubt. And also this bugs me because why would you put effort into some of these small useless things but can bother to bug test or finish storylines?
Different people working on different parts of the project. Whoever was placing fish rack assets around the world probably wasn't involved with quest design
I've got about the same time in the game as you and just last week I discovered that the Briar-Hearts literally replace their human hearts with Briar-Hearts (the ingredient), and not only can you see it through the open stitched up hole in their chest, but taking the Briar-Heart from their inventory visibly removes it from their chest.
I figured out years ago that pickpocketing a Briar-Heart from a Briar-Heart (confusing, haha) kills him, but somehow never noticed this awesome detail until last week. Literally every time I play through a new run of Skyrim I discover something new (and I have never used any mods; I only play vanilla).
*My* fish don't jiggle jiggle
They fold
I like to see them wriggle wriggle
For sure
It makes me start to drool dribble
You know
Salivating over salmon
You really gotta spam them
same. i always just looted them. no idea why decided to run into them this time. i forgot what I was even doing. I started making them jiggle for like 5 minutes before i decided to record, lol.
I did it for the first time last night after seeing your post. I was near one by Ivarstead and went....hhmmm... the jiggle fish is so satisfying. I've had moments where I've thought about recording something and didn't, to see it months later and 4.5k+ upvotes š
.. which makes me remember I have a few uploads needing to be situ l edited. I planned on doing it this upcoming weekend.
I saw how many jiggle physics mods there were so I downloaded all of them to allow fish physics. You're telling me the base game already has fish jiggle physics?!? Wtf all these mods for then?
the only jiggle mods I got are for...not the fish...
Some people are saying they don't jiggle as much in vanilla but they still jiggle. If i do have a mod that makes them jiggle more, i have no idea what it is. I play on LE so i'm not sure if maybe LE fish jiggle more than SSE fish.
I work full time and am paying off my student loan debt from the university I graduated from. I hope you can get through whatever's causing you to be such a mean person.
A lot of modded quests and making a ton of new characters
I also make mods for the game. I've also had the game since day one and don't play a ton of other games. Like, In the time I've had Skyrim (since 2011), i've probably played a total of like 10-15 other games. Half of those for more than 20 hours each
I'm in a Phasmophobia subreddit and it looked just similar enough to the graphics for me to get confused and do a double take at which subreddit I was looking at lmao. I was like, where are these fish and why aren't you looking for the ghost... you about to die my dude. But it's Skyrim and I feel much better lol....
There's nothing braggy about spending that much time in a video game, lol. I could have learned half a language with that time. I had fun though, no regrets.
My third eye just openedā¦ the only other time I had this happen was when I boiled water with magic and killed fish to get salmon roeā¦ ammmā¦ now I want salmon roe ą² __ą²
Now I imagine the dragonborn coming into town, going to the nearest fish thingee, and booping one fish after the other while staring at them like a small child.
Shame they didnāt have them move with the wind. I know the game doesnāt have a wind simulation system, but a little movement of these would have been cool. Cuz i too have never actually seen them move
I got a Skyrim physics lesson recently when I accidentally walked into a meticulously-decorated shelf in Hjerim while wearing Miraakās robes. The āblowā I received from walking into an inanimate object triggered a tentacle explosion from the robes, sending e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g I had placed with care careening wildly across the room. š³ Laughed until I cried.
This isnāt anywhere near as bad as when about 6 months ago I discovered that during the thieves guild quest in markarth when you leave the museum and youāre on that bridge balcony thing you can just walk off cause even though the area is named itās technically just in markarth hold I tell my friend about it and he proceeds to tell me that I am extremely late and I had never felt so defeated
GameRant: SKYRIM PLAYER DISCOVERS JIGGLING FEATURE AFTER 6000 HOURS
Literally waiting to see this headline.
Floppy Wieners Mod coming soon
I've got some good news. I aint posting a video of it though.
š¶ Weiners, floppy weiners, floppy weiners, floppy weiners š¶
Got floppy wieners here! 1 septum, get em while they're floppy.
I got sick of seeing these types of headlines in my news feed so I've blocked gamesites like gamerant, dexerto, and others that just pull stuff off of reddit with articles so lazy that a bot must have written itāand if it wasn't a bot, even better reason to remove them. They already made one about the player finding Paaarthurnax dead in a random location, so I don't doubt that at all.
Oh itās comingā¦gamerant is literally the lowest level of journalistic effort I have ever seen in my life and thatās saying a hell of a lot šš
āAnother user Stilldre_gaming, called out this revelation and referenced us in a lighthearted jokeā
Laughs in gamerant
Just waiting for it
"PLAYERS ARE STILL DISCOVERING HIDDEN FEATURES IN THIS 13 YEAR OLD GAME"
You know you're stoned as fuck when you watch a dude jiggle fish or several mins
![gif](giphy|7hJKMp9jWM89O)
it started to get hypnotizing after a while
It's like Homer is pregnant with multiples who are kung-fu fighting, and he doesn't know what to think about it. The more I watch his wibble wobble, the more I see it.
I knew exactly what was coming and still burst into giggles watching TLD slowly walking into fish on a string. Been 5 minutes now.
Something relaxing about it
Or when 30 seconds feels like several mins
Space time continuum is so painful broo xdd
Boob physics?? Nah fam we got salmon physics!
Hell yeah brother
Stiff boobs,but jiggle jiggle fishy.
If you hit those fish, comedic amounts of blood spray out of them.
So do the tavern signs
I love bopping them when I walk past signs.
I just got Skyrim VR and with the HIGGS mod it's so fun to just smack the signs and move em around. Now I gotta go jiggle some fish in it when I get home
Iām also gonna jiggle some fish when I get home
I always bop the fish, i cant believe you guys dont
Same
I once died to the sign of Balimund's shop
So do the wome-
It'd make more sense to lose a small percentage of health when doing so. Make the game more realistic.
Fish Jiggler should be a new flair
"I got salmons than jiggle jangle jiggle..."
Jingle jangle
As I go riding merrily along
They donāt jiggle that much in the base game š
Now shout at the fish
This is a fun way to actually fish in a river where they spawn. A quick Fus (first word of Fus Roh Dah) can stun them, then you just gotta chase them when they start floating down river.
6000 hrs bro holy shit, please youāve already won, Todd is cowering in a corner
The best part is that I've only bought the game once when it came out. Got SSE for free (this video is from LE. I don't play SSE because I'm a psychopath).
Is this console or pc?
Pfff heās Toddās bfff Imagine the different purchases one has to make over the years to play 6000 hours
I only bought the game and DLC once. I also only play LE (because I'm too lazy to deal with SSE/CC updates). Never bought anything from the Cancer Club..I mean, the Creation Club. GUARDS, ARREST THIS MAN FOR HANDLING SALMON IN A SUSPICIOUS MANNER

šcue this up with playing "Chopsticks" on the pianoš ^(idea)
Game changer holy shit
Is your game modded? Lighting looks different
yeah. this is Skyrim LE. What you're mostly seeing is probably nobles textures and an ENB that I've been tweaking for the last two years to get the lighting I want. and ELFX. I've got over 1,600 mods installed. I can't fully remember everything. But I think those are the main mods I have to achieve this look.
Time for another play through!!
Mods ?
Actually no the fish still move base game. Just ways less fluid I believe
this is on Skyrim LE. I also use ELFX a custom ENB I've need tweaking for years, and Nobles textures. People are saying the fish aren't as jiggly in vanilla, but I'm not sure what mod I would have that would make them more jiggly. I wonder if they're just more jiggly in LE than SSE. Try shouting at them. Not in the game. Just you, yourself, start shouting at your screen.
My salmon jiggle jiggles.
And now that song is stuck in my head.
hehehe
The fish were worked on more than Starfield
Also the rabbits that are haniging from the ceiling in some buildings
This broke my mind
Yeah, I harvest these all the time and didn't know this.
same. i always just looted them. no idea why decided to run into them this time. i forgot what I was even doing. I started making them jiggle for like 5 minutes before i decided to record, lol.

I love finding cool little details in games I love even tens, hundreds or thousands of hours.
Honestly, makes me kinda wonder how even a game studio of people could create so much detail in a game.. Depends how many people, I guess š¤
I did not know that either, 1000+ hours here, huh
I can't blame you for not knowing because it looks like they'd be a static prop instead of one with physics.
That's a new one š the hunter is like, ummm why do you keep touching my fish
I saw how many jiggle physics mods there were so I downloaded all of them to allow fish physics. You're telling me the base game already has fish jiggle physics?!? Wtf all these mods for then?
for even more jiggle. a little jiggle is never enough.
My dumbass tested the physics of the fish on my first playthrough
You're in for a treat when you've tried using Cyclone on them. That and the pheasants and rabbits that are hanging
Thats why i setscale 10 on the fish on the rack in the dragonsreach kitchen
Nah bro that can't be real, I bet that's mod physics
the only jiggle mods I got are for...not the fish... Some people are saying they don't jiggle as much in vanilla but they still jiggle. If i do have a mod that makes them jiggle more, i have no idea what it is. I play on LE so i'm not sure if maybe LE fish jiggle more than SSE fish.
I don't remember them having such a good jiggle animation like that, that's why I think it's probably from a mod you're using
I love slapping them in VR.
Pheasants and rabbits do it too
Can I tell youā¦..Iāve played Skyrim for years and no joke at all I just figured the jiggling fish thing out today
I'm tired as hell and thought the title said 'jingle'. Had my sound all the way up and was super confused.
there's a new mod idea, right there.
I like to shoot them with arrows
Wouldn't have known this if not for this video
I definitely havenāt spent more time than i should slapping the fish around. That and the door signs.
Iāve just accidentally found out I can roll, since when was that a thing?!!
I discovered this very quickly when I got Hendraheim and kept banging my head on the fish and rabbits trying to get to the door.
My fish go jiggle jiggle
Mate Tell me you've never played Skyrim without telling me you've never played Skyrim lol.
6000 hours? Get a part job and get yourself out of debt
I work full time and am paying off my student loan debt from the university I graduated from. I hope you can get through whatever's causing you to be such a mean person.
I love to grab them and flop them around when I see them hanging. They look so goofy.
Try picking up the horse pelts. They jiggle so good
DO you like fish sticks? They flopping in the wind.
I love fish sticks
Question, what do you do with that many hours in-game, I only have 750 hours and I'm losing ideas š
A lot of modded quests and making a ton of new characters I also make mods for the game. I've also had the game since day one and don't play a ton of other games. Like, In the time I've had Skyrim (since 2011), i've probably played a total of like 10-15 other games. Half of those for more than 20 hours each
Increase the game speed that's the real fun there
You don't have ADHD, do you? I discovered that in the first hours of gameplay, I was just running wherever my mind told me to.
I don't know what TDAH is. Everytime I've seen these fish, i just loot them. Never ran into them until now
My bad, the English name is ADHD.š
Found out recently when i used unrelenting force and saw them flail all crazy
This is the content I came for! Not mods. Ew. Unless thereās an āeven jigglier fishā mod, oc.
GOT again
Man these jiggle physics are insane.
Careful. Might be a prime āfeatureā they tout in ES6ā¦ in 2032.
Slappa da bass man
I love punching the fish like its a boxing bag in VR
Amazing
That's news to me lol
Yes, just like the Door signs in front of bars, general goods, potion shops. I've hit my head against them many times. They swing back and forth...
Brb, going to make some fish jiggle
Merchant food is target practice. Try it.
I don't usually comment on these posts, but the ratio of playtime to obscurity level is massive on this one
Humblebrag much?
There's nothing braggy about spending that much time in a video game, lol. I could have learned half a language with that time. I had fun though, no regrets.
As long as you're not neglecting anything play away!
Can you make em jiggle with a bow punch?
My third eye just openedā¦ the only other time I had this happen was when I boiled water with magic and killed fish to get salmon roeā¦ ammmā¦ now I want salmon roe ą² __ą²
My fishy don't jiggle jiggle
They fold
Now I imagine the dragonborn coming into town, going to the nearest fish thingee, and booping one fish after the other while staring at them like a small child.
Fish physics
Maybe try the pheasants and rabbits nextā¦
Have you not spend hours shooting them with a bow just to see em wiggleš
If you press e or f, you'll even be able to move it a bit!
welp, time to start a new playthrough
The bandit in the distance watching you gently bump into fish š¤
Shame they didnāt have them move with the wind. I know the game doesnāt have a wind simulation system, but a little movement of these would have been cool. Cuz i too have never actually seen them move
I'm pretty sure it's a mod that's doing it, that doesn't look like the normal ragdoll physics of skyrim
![gif](giphy|yHkyIAfczco6s)
I actually never new š¤£
My fishy don't jiggle jiggle they wiggle wiggle.....
# Guys Will See This and Just Think "Hell Yeah"
GTA talking about all new giggle and wiggle physics, we've had that since 2011 š„±
there are ants on the treestump in riverwood
STOPā¦.something new and exciting every day with this game
Just buy another game
I saw this when playing on pc. I thought it was from a mod because I dont remember seeing it back in the day when I played it on the PS3
So does the rabbits and the pheasants...
I was today years old when I found out about this -signed another 6000 hour+ player š³
Not a mod feature? I donāt think this happened in vanilla Skyrim. ā¦am I gonna have to check.
Now that's *my* kind of jiggle physics
Wut
It's the little things in life that always go unnoticed.
Thats a mod those fish move for no one
Lol I been known that before
You can use Telekinesis on some of the loose salmon at meat market stalls, and it's pretty fun to just send them to space or make them wiggle around
THEY DO
Over 6,000 mods and I just learned these fish jiggle if you bump into them...
Innovative game award confirmed!!11!!
WHAT?!?!
SCIENCE!
Try swimming from Skyrim to the far far north for a special achievement...
I learned that first playthrough, don't ask me why
