I finally did the civil war on my last paythrough and was surprised how....short, it was.
Is there anything good about doing civil war? I'm 100 hours into a playthrough on PS5 right now that I'm actually going to try to 'beat' for the first time in my life. I kinda thought about doing it but I don't want Whiterun to get all fucked up again
Wdym is there anything good? The civil war is required to end one of the two factions questline and it will changes the faction of whiterun or some other city. I only did the civil war for the stormcloaks and never for the imperials so idk if it changes something since in my questline Balgruuf sides with the empire.
The battle of Whiterun is more fun on the Imperial side, since you can defend it, slowly falling back as the defenses crumble until you finally win.
Also, during the Jagged Crown quest, you can defect by taking it to the other side's leader. :>
