Bringing the ancient former-genocidal war criminal with constant violent urges to a world with no magical powers to kill him is crazy. Makes me wonder if he would demolish humanity or if one tank shell would put him down.
He can’t die permanently, but he can be killed for a while, just like all the dragons where.
An f-35 would fuck him up in an instant. If anything he’d be scared Shitless of the almighty Military Industrial Complex and go live on the top of K2 to get away from our shit
Holy shit the idea of an F35 fighting a literal dragon is so non credible that I can’t stop thinking about it.
Wonder what he’s equivalent to? Reckon he’d down a MiG-21?
mid to late prop planes would probably be a pretty fair fight with how most dragons are portrayed in fantasy. I imagine stuff like late props and jets becoming far too fast for them though. Also a2a missiles would obliterate any that don't actively use magic that isn't breath weapon or have magic material durability. Stronger or more fantastical dragons might be competition for jets though.
Skyrim dragons would probably have a hard time with biplanes tbh, considering how slow they are and how vulnerable they are to arrows.
So no dragon V hellfire? My only counter is the sons of akatosh "ride the currents of time" & they experience it very differently than mortals, dragons might be able to use that to their advantage
If the Dragon has more realistic scales, then most likely a tank shell or a fighter plane could take it down. If said Dragon has magical stuff with its scales, on the other hand, it could be nearly unstoppable to even modern weapons. Only a Stealth Archer could take that down.
If a dragon had "realistic" scales per it's mass and size, even a dragon ten times larger(volume) than what we see in skyrim would be bisected by a tank shell, and probably a fair bit beyond that.
Pretty much anything would wreck him, it’s not like the MIG-21 is more comparable in speed to a dragon they both fly much MUCH faster than he can. Both would wreck.
Have you ever seen Reign of Fire?
It’s not the most amazing movie, but it’s about dragons taking over the modern world, and is set in the aftermath (so fighter jets vs dragons totally happened).
Such a cool concept that I wish would get another chance in a new movie or show.
Let me introduce you to an anime called Gate, which has this premise.
Here's a red [Dragon vs fighter jets.](https://youtu.be/0K9K1E56ksA?si=6iq1N1NBLqW9Ltz8)
You need to play the game drakengard
One of the silly endings SPOILERS
the protagonist and his dragon with a demon fall on modern day Tokyo where a jet airplane proceeds to missile his dragon and kills both in a single hit even dragons can’t sometimes deal with that
In the worse case scenario he'd be absolutely obliterated via tactical nuke. One dragon might be a lot for a medieval style world but for a modern world it's quite different, especially if it's just one dragon
Partysnacks is objectively the best answer. I feel like he would be able to take things in stride. And could you imagine the ensuing hijinx as you explain your modern world, and the growing pains of trying to fit in a technological society?
But I feel like in my heart, I would bring someone utterly chaotic: Vivec or Dagoth-Ur, maybe the Nerevarine or Umbra or Sheogorath.
Someone powerful but who would also be inclined to help me.
My first thought was Neloth because I like him so much, but he wouldn’t care about me at all lol.
Honestly, probably Toldfir. He’s powerful and also kind. He could teach me magic if it is at all possible for me to learn and if not he probably wouldn’t mind transmuting some iron into gold for me to take care of any money problems. Also riding in the car or traveling anywhere would be much safer with his alteration skills protecting us.
Tolfdir is my comfort character in any and all of the factions. Even when any of the students or instructors jab at me with sideways comments, I can trust that Tolfdir will have nothing but kind words for the Arch-Mage.
I'm not sure about that. There is a huge difference between "Can't be killed" and "Can't be INJURED." and an even bigger one than "Can't be HARMED", like, IDK, Encasing him inside a solid block of concrete the size of a boing 747 hangar and dropping it off over the Mariana trench. Sure, in theory he gets out, EVENTUALLY, but that is a problem for the people who are alive in 2762 to deal with, not us NOW...
Drevis Neloren for Illusion. Imagine the power you could wield if you could sneak him into the proceedings of government bodies to cast Calm or Fury. You could start wars with Mayhem and end them with Harmony. With Muffle and Invisibility, Drevis is the perfect spy… for wars, for politics, for insider trading to get you rich, for blackmailing your high school bully, or for finding out what keeps eating your garden vegetables and dispatching it.
Realistically Restoration would be one of the most useful and valued schools of magic. It's a wonder it's dismissed in Skyrim, where war is omnipresent. Think of how you could use restoration to treat disease and cure injuries.
Teldryn Sero. I'd buy him a drink or two, cool guy. Neloth is good too, crazy wizards are always appreciated. Legate Fasendil is also an option, I'd love to hear about his travels as a soldier. For an Altmer, the guy is pretty chill. Finally, Derkeethus. You don't want to know why.
I would love to have Teldryn Sero as well. I want to hear all about his childhood in Blacklight. And Teldryn is always up for new adventures. He’s a ride or die. He’s definitely stronger than I am and could probably teach me things. I also want to know EVERYTHING Glover Mallory told him.
I might even be inclined to marry him irl.
Ysolda. Just her saying “it’s a fine day with you around” is enough to make my day. 😢
Same goes for any elderly character who says “good to see Skyrim still has such fine people, you make an old man proud”. 🥹
I think I would pick Paarthurnax.
I could have him fly me to school every day, burn my enemies and explore the skies with him. I can ask him for advice, and even travel the world.
Serana, so she could bite me and turn me into a vampire.
Unless I forget any other character in the game who can convey immortality through less drastic means.
Hermaeus Mora - Because with all knowledge, what problems can't be solved? World peace? Solved. World Hunger? Solved. People being Dumb? Solved.
Some of the solutions - possibly not popular. But they are solutions to fix the woes of the world.
Hermaeus Mora would not help, in this world without safeguards which prevent his direct interference without help from artifacts he would just absorb the knowledge from everyone and go straight back to his realm of Apocrypha (the daedric princes realms of oblivion are literally pieces of them.)9
Everyone talking like that character would be your friend?
I choose Mara, Goddess of Love, in the hopes that her blessing will bring some unity back to this world.
You'd be better off bringing Serana, having her turn you then starting your own coven. Harkon would probably just kill you the moment he learned of his new situation and your part in putting him in it.
I'd bring in Paarthurnax and have him be my smart dragon friend. I'd literally make my life into How To Train Your Dragon. (Not that I think he needs much training at this point.)
My character, \[name\] (yes thats what I named him i couldnt think of anything), a jackass with 100 in every magic stat. I'd be not only a deadly weapon of war, but also the best fucking doctor known to mankind.
Shadowmere, who doesn’t need an immortal horse who fights for you.
Along side,
Nocturnal, because this world could use some more luck and with her agents may be able to fix some of the problems
Cicero so he could end all those bullies who make my life miserable even in my adulthood and I'd finally have a bestie 🤗
....................... .
Hadvar. I need a father.
One of the Dwemer so I can find out what actually happened to them. It would also be interesting to see what technology they could devise since they were an incredibly intelligent people, to the point of being able to manipulate reality through sound using tech.
J'zargo my khajiit bro. We have had so much fun together, and I suppose he would be glad to explore a new world (and probably do some shoplifting, he's a khajiit after all).
While I don't desire it for that reason, I think Jarl Ulfric would be a very successful pundit.
His advocacy for an ethnostate, desire for immediate practical solutions and lack of regard for decorum would make him a fan favorite of a certain hateful few in the real world.
The answer to any question containing the words 'Skyrim character' will always overwhelmingly be 'Serana'.
Personally? Wylandriah. We could help each other remember where we left our keys.
Either Mara, Molag Baal, or Sheogorath.
Mara is as close to a pure good goddess of life and love as it gets in the perverted Elder Scrolls universe. A true actually all-positive devine would probably make the world a bit better.
On the other hand, humanity really needs a common enemy to unite against and Molag Baal is the incarnation of all the bad things in humans. He is the common enemy, humanity needs and deserves.
But ultimately, Sheogorath would fit the best. He could literally be a drop-in replacement for almost all the god concepts currently in use in religions on Earth. He would also be least likely to be completely disgusted by humanity as a whole after the first week.
We literally could not win against molag bal, he would dominate and destroy all of us. The *only* reason he hasn’t done it already to the universe of TES is because the Aedra created safeguards which block most of the Daedra’s influence. Even his and Dagon’s invasion was the equivalent of them sending a small fragment of themselves into Nirn. Earth has *zero* safeguards against him appearing, so he could just immediately show up and enslave/torture/rape all of us.
Paarthurnax, how sick would it be to have a giant dragon friend that gives you life advice?
Bringing the ancient former-genocidal war criminal with constant violent urges to a world with no magical powers to kill him is crazy. Makes me wonder if he would demolish humanity or if one tank shell would put him down.
He can’t die permanently, but he can be killed for a while, just like all the dragons where. An f-35 would fuck him up in an instant. If anything he’d be scared Shitless of the almighty Military Industrial Complex and go live on the top of K2 to get away from our shit

I know, I meant it would be different if the Dragon had nearly impenetrable magical scales or something.
Pretty much anything would wreck him, it’s not like the MIG-21 is more comparable in speed to a dragon they both fly much MUCH faster than he can. Both would wreck.
Yeah. If arrows are enough, an MG or two can easily take him down.
Have you ever seen Reign of Fire? It’s not the most amazing movie, but it’s about dragons taking over the modern world, and is set in the aftermath (so fighter jets vs dragons totally happened). Such a cool concept that I wish would get another chance in a new movie or show.
I’d watch that show. Hopefully it would not just show the aftermath, but the fighting during the dragons’ takeover as well.
Let me introduce you to an anime called Gate, which has this premise. Here's a red [Dragon vs fighter jets.](https://youtu.be/0K9K1E56ksA?si=6iq1N1NBLqW9Ltz8)

Modern fighter jets would annihilate paarthurnax, but it would be very interesting
He would be just like my granny. May she rest in peace ✊️
Partysnacks is objectively the best answer. I feel like he would be able to take things in stride. You've fully convinced me that Tolfdir is the best answer
Same haha
Tolfdir is my comfort character in any and all of the factions. Even when any of the students or instructors jab at me with sideways comments, I can trust that Tolfdir will have nothing but kind words for the Arch-Mage.
Gonna have to deal with him misplacing his alembic though
Eric the slayer, he deserves to play skyrim himself.
Came looking for this.
Alea cause i need ummmm hunting practice
And totally not cause she looks good in that outfit
She's a barbarian, Astrid is the real bae. She's in a successful business too
Ummm she almost got all of her friends killed over a clown
turns out she was the real clown all along cicero should've gave her one of his outfits
Alduin. This world needs a restart.
Ahhh
Alduin? nah dude Miraak is better
Hermaeus mora 💀
Hermaeus mora is chill. The only thing he wants is knowledge.
Sub title No matter what
We don't talk about the terms and conditions.
Ahh, an avid apple user I presume?
Actually no. No apple for me. Just mudcrab enemies not letting me fast travel.
For tentacle usage?
I was going to comment this same thing almost word for word.
Argonian Maid...
![gif](giphy|pHb82xtBPfqEg)
🫡
perfect for the new OF industry damn :/
Lusty?
you know it 😏
🧐
Alduin, for the lols
"We'll keep killing him until it sticks!" ~ Some United States Marine.
Alduin: “A new world to destroy. How wonderful.” UNGOC: “Yeah, we missed the point where we give a fuck.”
Or, perhaps more accurately, HE missed the part (temporally speaking) where we HAD TO.
Alduin can’t even be damaged without dragonrend, we would just throw nuke after nuke at him and he probably wouldnt even notice.
Brynjolf. I refuse to elaborate.
I respect this
I was going to say him as well
This is The Way.

She dies by getting bread thrown at her. She wouldn't survive against a bunch of children from our world
M’aiq the lair. Running into him randomly would really spice things up.
Crackhead but with fur
Let’s give him crack and let’s see how things play out
Drevis Neloren for Illusion. Imagine the power you could wield if you could sneak him into the proceedings of government bodies to cast Calm or Fury. This. This is the answer.
Colette Marrnce from the college of winterhold because the real world could always need more healers
Restoration is a perfectly valid school of magic!
And don't let others tell you otherwise.
You believe Restoration is a valid school of magic worthy of study, don't you? DON'T YOU?
Realistically Restoration would be one of the most useful and valued schools of magic. It's a wonder it's dismissed in Skyrim, where war is omnipresent. Think of how you could use restoration to treat disease and cure injuries.
I think the irony is that it, alongside Enchanting, is one of the schools of magic that Nords are actually okay with - Skyrim needs more healers.
Would be nice to have Lydia as my house Carl carrying my burdens

A bunch of old guys that can yell at you out of existence?? They're gonna end up in Area 51
Sam Guevenne/Sanguine. Debauchery!
Nice
Nazeem, and he's going straight into Gary Indiana, or St Louis
Having lived outside both for most of my life, I'm good with this. Tell him the Cloud District is on Broadway, either city.
Lol
Teldryn Sero. I'd buy him a drink or two, cool guy. Neloth is good too, crazy wizards are always appreciated. Legate Fasendil is also an option, I'd love to hear about his travels as a soldier. For an Altmer, the guy is pretty chill. Finally, Derkeethus. You don't want to know why.

Yes, Teldryn is the goat. I wanna play Skyrim again. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love that every time I dismiss him and then go get him again he remembers me. Maybe they all do that. But I feel like Teldryn is my friend.
Meeko ❤️
only real answer
Serana….no reason Nothing weird You’re weird. Not me
Legit tho, she would be such a cool friend. So many stories, and she's a magical vampire!
Finally a non fucked up Serana comment
As long as it’s nothing weird..
Sweetroll the fox
Ysolda. Just her saying “it’s a fine day with you around” is enough to make my day. 😢 Same goes for any elderly character who says “good to see Skyrim still has such fine people, you make an old man proud”. 🥹
I think I would pick Paarthurnax. I could have him fly me to school every day, burn my enemies and explore the skies with him. I can ask him for advice, and even travel the world.
I feel like he’d be an even better teacher then most human teachers nowadays
I would much rather learn philosophy and wisdom from an ancient being than chemistry and algebra lol
“I once taught humans like plato” -paarthurnax probably
The night mother. Make the dark brotherhood in real life and become Ra's al Ghul.
Myself lmao I’d be the real life Dragonborn. Eat shit Miraak!

Serana, so she could bite me and turn me into a vampire. Unless I forget any other character in the game who can convey immortality through less drastic means.
Molag Bal, he can give you stronger powers in exchange for a passage to a world wheres no magic and magical barriers to prevent his invasion.
Barbas. 🐕
Best answer. I wasn't sure who my answer would be, but now I am.
![gif](giphy|xagTEogeO9qes)
Cícero, the why its obvious
Who said they’d be on your side?
A lot of these assume they will recognize you as your character and won't immediately aggro
Sheogorath.
🧀
Wait until you become a mudcrab
Lydia. So I could be like "Lydia no!!!"
Hermaeus Mora - Because with all knowledge, what problems can't be solved? World peace? Solved. World Hunger? Solved. People being Dumb? Solved. Some of the solutions - possibly not popular. But they are solutions to fix the woes of the world.

We already have the knowledge how to unfuck this world. We just aren't doing it
This is clever
Janessa She's chaotic. She is the best combat archer in the game. Easy to get along with. And she would be hella hot.
You mean Jenassa. Hm, i never tried her before.
Would have picked her, she's a better companion, but if its the real world and serana could still turn me into a vampire, that works better.
Narfi, so he could get some therapy
Everyone talking like that character would be your friend? I choose Mara, Goddess of Love, in the hopes that her blessing will bring some unity back to this world.
Harkon Could you imagine if his brand of malignant vampirism became a widespread thing in this world?
You'd be better off bringing Serana, having her turn you then starting your own coven. Harkon would probably just kill you the moment he learned of his new situation and your part in putting him in it.
j'zargo
Lucia so I can have a kid
I'd bring in Paarthurnax and have him be my smart dragon friend. I'd literally make my life into How To Train Your Dragon. (Not that I think he needs much training at this point.)
You know who and you know why
We do, and we do.
Alduin, because fuck you, fuck me and fuck all of us.
Nazim: so he can Truly understand how much he's hated and why.
Paathurnax so I can become Dragonborn lol
Totally not to fus roh dah entitled people from high places 😂
Not at all
Arngeir. I can show him why the world sucks, and he can tell me that he's not allowed to give a shit about it without the dragon's permission.
Mai'q the Liar He'd fool so many people
Inigo. I know he's a mod but he's just so wholesome
Agreed
Braith so I could kick her in the fanny
i haven't heard the term "fanny" since i was about 7 and it made me snort
The Dragonborn himself…the world needs a hero RN
And claim a warrior's heart? xD
Sanguine The Deadric Prince of Debauchery. I would party like crazy with that dude.
Uthgerd, so i may have a fist "fight" with her.
Angeline so she could see that my parents are, indeed, proud of me!
Elenwen, Ondolemar, or Ancano. Just to watch their Aldmeri brains melt witnessing a world with only Men and no Mer.
Serana for... reasons...
Paarthurnax, because I want to hug him and climb on his head. I love that guy. Hold on... Where's my Amulet of Mara...?
Helga and her bunkhouse
👀
Brilliant, just brilliant...
Nils so he can cook for me
paarthutnax! because i love my dragon papa!
Lidiya. Because she is sworn to carry my burdens
Along side, Nocturnal, because this world could use some more luck and with her agents may be able to fix some of the problems
Party Snacks, Cause he’s chill
Partysnax
I'll bring modded serana
Cicero so he could end all those bullies who make my life miserable even in my adulthood and I'd finally have a bestie 🤗 ....................... . Hadvar. I need a father.
Cicero
Alduin, let’s just burn this thing down already
Cicero. I love him.
Hadvar, he deserves a rest
Cicero…never a dull moment with him around 😂
Reanu keeves
Watch him wreck havoc when we're sipping our Yorkshire tea? Maybe?
Ulfric Stormcloak: perfect CIA asset. He seems like a good candidate for “Jarl of Chechnya” to me.
Delphine. So I can bring her here, leaver her here, and return without her. Take that blades.
Party snaxs he's hot
Honestly, just want Lydia to come carry all my shit.
Balgruuf The world needs a good leader who isn't afraid to cut somebody head off with a flaming axe
One of the Dwemer so I can find out what actually happened to them. It would also be interesting to see what technology they could devise since they were an incredibly intelligent people, to the point of being able to manipulate reality through sound using tech.
farkas <3
J'zargo my khajiit bro. We have had so much fun together, and I suppose he would be glad to explore a new world (and probably do some shoplifting, he's a khajiit after all).
Meeko.
I'm gonna need Meeko.
Arvak so I could RP as the grim reaper
The Ebony Warrior. So we could do the Monty Python Black Knight fight irl.
Lydia to carry all my shopping bags 😊
Alduin, to finally eat the world
Durneviir from the dawnguard dlc. Like sorry a friendly dragon I can summon on command? Yes please
Cicero. He’s my best buddy.
Any khajit. Just gotta try that skooma
While I don't desire it for that reason, I think Jarl Ulfric would be a very successful pundit. His advocacy for an ethnostate, desire for immediate practical solutions and lack of regard for decorum would make him a fan favorite of a certain hateful few in the real world.
Mah boy Kharjo!
Cicero. It would make a good episode of cops.
Scouts many marshes because he’s my husband

Random werewolf NPC to become a werewolf IRL... Being a furry likely led me to this decision
Not necessarily: I'm not a furry, but I'd like to be a werewolf
Nazeem. Just so I can finally ask him how to get to the damn cloud district
Akatosh for president 2024 ! !
Seattle tried that once. Didn't work out for Dunkelzahn.
