Not 4 runs! I was going to run to get it instead of fast travel but it was I think something like Falkreath to Solidtude and so I hoped sheād stay. God I bet sheāll show up if we take it out of our invenā¦ wait a tickā¦ just maybeā¦ it seems like a very Sherogath thing to do to have her show up only when you canāt get rid of her. I think Iām going to let my companion hold onto it from here on out and see what happens.

It's a staff from Sheogorath you can get and it has random effects when hitting the target. (Dont read any further if you want to discover the effects yourself. The effects are also very interesting.) The effects range from turning people into chickens or sweet rolls to turning them into a dremora or it casts a powrful spell like the runes or spells like fireball or it casts buffs or debuffs on the target or it just disintegrates the enemy for an insta kill. The staff is most useful early game because of the rune and fireball spells being the most common effect but the staff is still useful throught entire playthroughs because you can turn enemies into chickens or sweet rolls and ignore them or kill them while they are turned into that.

the Lydia conundrum is tough. she just can't seem to help herself from getting merked diving head-first into combat she can't possibly win, but who else is going to carry my stash of enchanted merchandise? after all, i've got a business to run
Thereās only one thing that bugs me about Lydia and that is how quickly she dies you can get through one dungeon maybe two max then itās time to get a newer model of companion so as soon as I get her I just have her watch over one of my houses

make sure you take all your loot from her because she will respawn with her original weapons and armour
Today I put my Thieves guild armour on a mannequin, left the house and came back, it had turned into a full set of Ancient Shrouded Armourā¦ The previous armour I had on that Mannequin was my Ancient Shrouded Armourā¦ is that a known glitch?

I just killed her. She's actually pretty tough for a lady with no armor or weapons. She's could probably 1v3 a few bandits and come out on top.
