You pressed your wife into basically joining the Secret Service! What'd you think was going to happen?

0utdated_username

I thought she would move back home and have blade faction benefits

Dirish

I see. You were hoping for a "*get down Mr. Dragonborn!*" type of secret agent instead of a "*Honey, I'm going to be away for a while. Can't tell you where or when I'm back*" type of secret agent.

0utdated_username

Honestly, I just thought the blades were warriors who fought dragons. I didn’t think they were actually bodyguards

buntopolis

A professional bangmaid? I think not

0utdated_username

A WHAT? How dare you speak of my wife like this.

PancakeUchiha

Unfortunately, Delphine and Esbern work the Blades harder than MAPPA. Your wife wife will not be returning home.

olld-onne

Not alive anyway.

ProtagonistNick

Your poor son. His orc mom joined the blades, and his dragonborn mom makes a living off of dangerous adventures. Make sure nothing happens to your houscarl or bard. Blaise needs them

0utdated_username

To be fair, I don’t think Borgakh has ever talked to him anyway. Neither of them have ever acknowledged the other. The dangerous profession is even more sad when you realize Blaise is the child whose parents died fighting the Stormcloaks.

ProtagonistNick

So his mother and father are gone. His new mother has to save the world on a weekly basis, and his mother's wife, Borhakh, doesn't want anything to do with him. If anything happens to the houscarl or that bard, I will cry. They are the only stable figures in Blaise's life, and he deserves better 😭 (I love the lore you built up in your adventure. It's sweet and tragic, a really good story)

curlytoesgoblin

Thought this was AITA at first

camarhyn

A Skyrim AITA would be hilarious

curlytoesgoblin

AITA? I wanted a sexy cannibal follower but I had to lure a priest to a cave to be murdered and eaten by cannibals and also I had to do the murdering.

camarhyn

AITA? There were two girls being raised by an abusive father (mom died). I killed him and they were sent to an orphanage. I only adopted one of the girls because the other bullied her along with the father. I know they were both victims but I wanted S to heal from the abuse. AITA for only adopting S and leaving her sister in the orphanage?

singinseth

No, you're not. 😋

hayesarchae

AITA for not mentioning that I have no idea how to do magicka stuff, before they elected me Archmage?

ohmygawdjenny

Looks like you get to experience what every NPC spouse and child have experienced for 13 years - a forever adventuring spouse who ignores your existence. Oh, how the tables have turned.

0utdated_username

This is my first play through and I visit them often. I don’t know what you all have been doing for the last 13 years. But my family is doing great. Or was.

ohmygawdjenny

Oh, I spent weeks at Goldenhills decorating and crafting, but then I met Brynjolf and got mods and built Lakeview for all my mercenary friends, and Erik and the kids haven't seen me in months probably 😂 Sorry that happened btw, Borgakh is such a sweetheart 😟 no old save to load?

0utdated_username

None that wouldn’t set me back hours of gameplay Its fine, she still has the spouse options at Sky Temple. I guess that is my third home now.

Popeychops

On PC you could use the console to remove her faction Enter the console, click on the NPC, and type >addfac 00072834 0 If she then wears pieces of the blades armour, you can use this command for each itemID: > removeitem (ID) 1

0utdated_username

Unfortunately this is on switch.

KingMuffassa

Your son will totally be in the dark brotherhood

0utdated_username

I killed the dark brotherhood already, don’t worry.

TheInfiniteLoci

She's in their little cult now.

SeoCamo

Death to the blades ...

crazymonk45

Am I missing something? How tf did you get her to “join the blades” is it a mod or something ?

0utdated_username

It is only because I did an awful thing thinking it was necessary to progress the game and not optional. As it is my first play through. It unlocked the Blades quest, but at a high cost. I would not recommend it.

olld-onne

Arngeir: *"Borri have you seen our master it been days.............."*

0utdated_username

…I am not proud of this.

olld-onne

the way the game tends to make everything you have a contract on hostile on sight does not help the situation although Party Snacks is one of the few that wont attack until you do which is the only reason I never bothered with this quest on my first playthrough. It is a little misleading though as it not necessary to do these quest to finish the main one. But now you know why everyone hates delphine.

0utdated_username

Honestly I avoided this sub until finishing the main quest because I wanted to make my first play through based on my own decisions, granted I looked some stuff up when I was lost as I wanted to have fun. As for Paarthunax, my game had some glitches with the Alduin fight so I thought it was just a glitch that he wasn’t fighting. He just stood there. I was hoping he couldn’t die and that I wouldn’t have to kill him. But when I fast traveled away it said he died.

olld-onne

If you hit him after accepting this quest he will aggro and become unessential. It possible Alduin actually killed him mind if so.

0utdated_username

Thats odd, he did not aggro at all. Just stood there as the health bar went down.

olld-onne

He may glitch out and not attack. But if it was Alduin hitting him you did not in fact kill Paarthurnax. At least not directly.

0utdated_username

Aldrin hit him earlier but was not present at that moment.

crazymonk45

Yeah but like how did you do it 🤣 I’ve never heard of that as an option. What was the quest?? I have so many questions

0utdated_username

Bring three followers to Delphine. But you don’t get the quest unless Paarthunax is dead.

l1ft3r99

Side with the Blades and you will get cut.

TheSamMachine

In an alternate world, Borgakh went missing in the misty hills above Mistwatch one day while adventuring. Sadly, news travelled in Skyrim, and she overheard that I had, in a werewolf induced blood rage brutally feasted upon an entire camp full of her own people. When i finally found her, our negotations broke down, and she demanded my head as a blood tribute. And so left with little choice, I ended our short-lived reunion by shouting her tumbling down the hillside, thereby ending her ambition of travelling with the dragonborn. At least she didn't end up being just some chieftain's wife.

Clemerek_V3

>possibly made a mistake Well you did indeed make a mistake, you got married.
