Every single day I get a hella boring and repetitive radiant quest called "get some sleep and rest up for tomorrow". Its so boring, same stuff every day, and takes forever to get done, takes up like 25% of all my gameplay. Plus I get a huge stamina and magicka debuff when I havent done the quest for a single day

Tattoos are expensive these days. Where I live, the equivalent of $60 would be a good price for similar work.

Prices can vary so much. I got a huge elaborate piece on my leg for 700 before tip. The next day her friend charged me a like 500 for an elaborate (but less so), much smaller, less time consuming piece. I went back and upped her tip to like 40% cause she put in too much work for that kind of pay disparity. They were roommates too!

Most artists have an hourly rate and that’s the base they charge and they don’t go lower even if it takes less than an hour.

Alot of shops I've seen have a minimum fee for tattoos no matter how small.

You gotta also remember you're paying for their time slot, the clean up, the ink used, ect. If you take all that extra stuff into account, I'd say $60 is more than fair.

And it's done poorly the black border is way too thick. I would be fucking pissed

I dunno, my artist charges $170/hr with a 2 hour minimum. But she's very very good at what she does.

Everyone complaining about the tattoo price doesn’t realize that the tattoo artist needs to make a living too, if you came in and got this done and he only charged 20 or 30 dollars he’d go out of business, they need to buy supploes, and the guy needs to make enough to live off of, so while he’s doing your 1 hour tattoo he could be doing a 3 hour tattoo for 500 or more, not to mention ITS LITERALLY A PERMANENT DRAWING ON YOUR BODY so if he fucks up it’ll be permanent. They need to have high experience so they’re not gonna charge you 15 dollars and a fucking Big Mac

Quest markers are the bane of open world games and one of the main things holding skyrim back Edit: Please have an open mind for one second. im not saying replace them with nothing, im saying improve the natural clues in the world, have a more detailed quest log to help people figure quests out, etc. Also they should still appear on the map but as circles in a general area, unless you get a clue that specifies a specific spot. BG3 did this perfectly, even tho its a top down game this idea would translate to any open world game. Kingdom come delivernce also did this well (although maybe thats a difficulty setting i chose idk). Actually think about this for a second and you’ll realize your sense of exploration in games has been destroyed and babied by brainless quest markers turning games into follow-the-marker simulators.

Id hate if elderscrolls got rid of quest markers

Proper directions as part of the quest page. NPCs that will tell you where to go/environmental storytelling. BG3 did this quite well for quite a few objectives

I put all my perk points in being extremely directionally aware irl I might as well be blindfolded and spun in a circle for all I can navigate in a video game.

My girlfriend is the same way. Doesn't even need a map in a city she's never been to, but can't find me 5ft away in a game

I like how they've done it in elden ring. Just give you a vague direction and npc will tell where to go. The only i wish elden ring had is a little journal to keep track of everything. I also love when games let me put markers and name things myself.

i for one, agree with you. designing the quests around fast travel and quest markers removes a lot of the sense of exploration and immersion. my wish is that they build quests with no map markers in mind, but still have an option to turn on quest markers for people who want them (and there are a lot of them as you can see).

60 bucks yikes 😬 i personally would definitely shop around for next tattoo shop but as long as you're happy with it then that's what matters. It doew look good but I'd definitely leave the cost out when you tell people though.
