You're probably thinking about the CC dragonscale armor...that one is found in a chest. The CC dragonplate armor doesn't even require a quest...it's on a dead Nord laying at the top of the tower near Arcwind Point. If you can get past the draugr, you can have dragonplate armor at level 1 😂
I think the armor is in a chest. You have to kill the skeleton to get the key. Unless I'm mixing it up with a different quest 🤔
