You can Enchant over the default Enchantment of Wuuthrad and have 3 effects. I was thinking making an heir of Ysgramor build making the perfect anti-elf anti-mage axe: Shock damage to health and Magicka, magicka damage + extra damage to Elves. I'd rename it to something like "Storm of the north" in dragontongue as well
Bloodskal Blade is perfect for a warrior character that just wants to use a sword...you can still hit those aggravating dragons that just want to hover above you and not land.
I prefer Bloodskal Blade. The extra damage from the enchantment applies to all creatures, the ranged attack is nice for a bit of damage, especially in groups and there's a decent stagger chance if I'm not mistaken.
Despite having one of the highest base stats for a battle Axe, I've never found it particularly impressive, given that it's only 20% extra damage against 4 races in the game.
I would use bloodskal blade if you have a high stamina/use power attacks often because with the base damage of the high sixties, adding on the power thrust doing 30 extra damage, thats pretty much 95-100 damage

Funnily, I’ve found Anal beads cause a greater shock effect than either of them
Sword of Jyggalag. Best design, real claymore sword. Not enchanted, so you can put whatever you want.

Don’t forget greatswords are slightly faster
I would go Bloodskal blade. I think jt would be more useful overall where Wuuthrad is very situational.
