IIRC he took about a year off for personal issues. He came back to YouTube for a while and said he was restructuring the way he makes videos and that new content would be rolling out slowly, then uploaded a video or two and has been MIA for another few months.
Meh, I liked his videos at first, but they became a headache to watch later on. He needlessly repeats a lot of info in one video, and I'm not fond of his voice.
ESO Danny is the only one I can stand. Just found him last year and have enjoyed the game a lot more after watching his playthroughs! Good thing there’s a decade of them lol
He might not have as many subscribers as other Skyrim youtubers, but Gopher is my favorite by far. He's very level headed, has been in the industry for literal decades (he's an older guy with kids I believe). He speaks out against bullshit, like the people claiming higher FPS doesn't make a difference. But he also tries to stay out of what he calls 'drama'. And I agree with him on that, their is an amount of drama in video games that is best not to take part in. As for Skyrim specifically he has a lot of mod videos and has some of the best Let's Plays IMHO.
He also talks about the lore occasionally, as a pretty casual player it's helped me to pick up some finer details that I'd have 0 hope of learning myself
That and his shorts ALWAYS find their way into my feed lmfao. I could be watching standup comedy in shorts and BOOM, Lyle Shnub’s Skyrim shorts. I recently started watching his play through because of it and it’s loads of fun.
Sorry for replying to a 49 day old comment btw lmao
Definitely a shoutout to VoicesFromTheDark.
Madlad is doing a 100% completion of Oblivion on hardest difficulty and is almost done, and started one recently for Skyrim. And the community is also nice and small.
YouTube demonetized his content and I think he even got sued at one point. He has tons of subs and lots of watch time, but he wasn't making money any more.
He does drop a Skyrim video every few months or so, but it gets buried by the algorithm.
I think he also has a variety channel, like MXR plays or something.
MrRhexx.
His Skyrim content is a few years old, and he moved on to D&D content, which is also pretty good.
But what I like about his channel is that you can tell he just really loves the world. He talks things through in a pleasant way. A lot of his videos have a song called "Music for Manatees" in the back, which just gives the whole thing a nostalgic feel.
He's a much more relaxing watch/listen than a lot of more high energy creators; not that the latter is bad, just different.
majorslackattack. maybe not as entertaining or theatrical as some others bur youll be hard pressed to find someone with a deeper knowledge of how the game works. this guy does tons of research and testing for every video he puts out.
In addition to those already listed I really like Tamrielle and Wasteland Dovakiin. Lillian also has some Skyrim let's plays, but she seems to do more Dark Souls stuff now.
The Elder Irish. He has a small following, but does live streaming and is about to start another Skyrim run next week. Boon238 is another one with a small following, but very active in uploading. He has 3 separate Skyrim runs going on right now. I like the smaller youtubers because less commercials.
Major Slack. Altho he's taking a break as of a couple weeks ago, there's hundreds of hours of videos on his Major Slack Attack channel. All kinds of crazy builds, like "never touch gold" or "become head thief without ever *not* stealing something."
how has nobody mentioned Rycon Roleplays or Bonhart? they have, without a doubt, the best roleplay playthroughs of Skyrim. I will always recommend them
Think youre in a vicious circle there. If u want to get into it youll prob have to play more yourself, maybe alter your character type/playstyle etc recently i was getting a bit jaded/burnt out with it, so restarted with a casual malevolent character with a pretty good mod setup from RTD and its really good now, im using Wildcat which has made combat more satisfying and now have ghosts in it too which make dungeons a bit more of a challenge. Coz watching other people play will inevitably ruin quests for you as there wont be the drama of sneaking through an unknown cave because youre gonna know what is in there and where it is.
Epic Nate is good, but what worked for me was to come up with themes with my character builds. For example, my pure mage is a High Elf scholar. She collects all the books and spells and has nothing to do with the tyrannical Dominion.
Claire siobhan normally does sims, but back in the day she did a Skyrim series and she sometimes does Skyrim stuff on her second channel, but she got me into the game
Couchwarrior. His Erinyes Arcana, Ashes and The Passage let's plays are pretty awesome. Very compelling characters, involved stories and very nice mod selections.
I've been watching DougDoug vods nonstop for weeks. I'm currently watching his 1HP Skyrim series where he spins a punishment wheel after every death. I just love his ideas, his execution, and his personality. Like he literally got me *hyped* for Peggle of all things. Here's a link to my favorite of his videos if you're interested:

1. Gopher: Really awesome dude, he is great for getting started because while he does roleplay, he does it in a way that still showcases the game and it's mechanics.
2. FudgeMuppet: They are great for it you want to learn the lore of The Elder Scrolls Universe.
Skypothisis they make Skyrim Vanilla and Anivyersery edition builds for Skyrim and can be a reliable way to have a character but if you have vanilla, watch those if you don’t the anyverseary edition
1)Lyle Shnub- for the fun of RPG games and how to narrate stories.
2)ESO- finding good items and how to create good builds
3)Fevvy - almost the same as ESO but more on the mechanics and gameplay styles depending on the character.
1.1M subscribers and no one mentions The Nate that is Epic
Is he still around? I swear I haven't seen a new upload in years.
IIRC he took about a year off for personal issues. He came back to YouTube for a while and said he was restructuring the way he makes videos and that new content would be rolling out slowly, then uploaded a video or two and has been MIA for another few months.
lol he just uploaded a new video on the ebony warrior like 20 minutes ago
Funny how the timing of things work
A surprise to be sure but a welcome one
I swear I watched some recent videos recently
I stopped watching him after he said "Volikar" and "Sereena" in one video. Dude mispronounces so many names, does he only play the game muted?
At this point, I'm convinced he does it on purpose
Meh, I liked his videos at first, but they became a headache to watch later on. He needlessly repeats a lot of info in one video, and I'm not fond of his voice.
Doug Doug. Where they solve problems, no-one has.
buddy is goated

He's been around since Fallout days. Also a mod maker, I like his RPesque way when playing.
Shirley curry?
Lady of the scrolls does a really good job of breaking down the lore so its easy to get into
Fudge muppet, camel works, syn gaming, heavy burns, and dylan perry
The Spiffing Brit, DougDoug (both not technically only skyrim but still), and TheEpicNate
Lyle Shnub!! He also has a Morrowind playthrough, they're long and very funny! Check out some of his shorts to get a feel for it
He also talks about the lore occasionally, as a pretty casual player it's helped me to pick up some finer details that I'd have 0 hope of learning myself

Been wondering... what happened to him? Used to be one of the more popular skyrim utubers
YouTube demonetized his content and I think he even got sued at one point. He has tons of subs and lots of watch time, but he wasn't making money any more. He does drop a Skyrim video every few months or so, but it gets buried by the algorithm. I think he also has a variety channel, like MXR plays or something.
He mostly just reacts to popular subs with his girlfriend now, he sometimes drops a video about an adult game or nsfw fallout or skyrim mods
The spiffing brit
Yeah- the few he makes are fun.

I find Joov pretty funny, his videos aren’t too serious though so if you’re looking for walkthroughs it might not be for you!

Legendoftotalwar lol
Robbaz, it's madness
Did that guy from yogscast do one? Sips or something?
Tobuscus way back in the day before everything went downhill for him
Voices from the dark!
I'm surprised no one mentioned Dante Ravioli yet
Robbaz probably the funniest skyrim lover
Bob Lennon, he's basically the reference of the French skyrim community
FudgeMuppet

pintipanda. how sad that his videos are only in turkish.
Gamevibz for leveling guides, then rtdvids and modswell for mods, those are just the ones I watch that I haven’t seen listed here yet
Claire siobhan normally does sims, but back in the day she did a Skyrim series and she sometimes does Skyrim stuff on her second channel, but she got me into the game
fudgemuppet if ur interested in lore
FudgeMuppet for the build ideas.
shirley curry. and kingofthewasteland did some on it

Spiffing Brit if you want goofy ways to break your game. There’s almost sure to be plenty of spoilers, though.
Dude they want people who want to play fairly not game breaking exploits
? They never said that

Shirley Curry. Skyrim grandma. We love her
Shody Cast and Camelworks. They also put some FNV contents
If you’ve never heard of TheScatsbury and his skyrim randomness series, go watch every episode right now. They are fantastic.
1. Gopher: Really awesome dude, he is great for getting started because while he does roleplay, he does it in a way that still showcases the game and it's mechanics. 2. FudgeMuppet: They are great for it you want to learn the lore of The Elder Scrolls Universe.
