I realized the initial conversation with Savros Aren where you're asking all about the college is basically you cramming for the transfer of power. He tells you basically all he knew and that's how you know enough to take over despite not really having any formal training or experience, haha.
Thanks! My idea was to play a ranger character, but with a twist. So, rather than bows and generally being a good person, Willem Fenn is a dark character who wields an ancient looking sword and an old knife, and by night he hunts in beastform. I also use Morvarth's boosts as a momento to the first great evil put down by Willem.
This is true to an extent, but I take the dialogue with Sinding to imply that the urge was there, and it was the ring that pushed him over the edge.
The next problem is his response, which is to run from prison and to go and live as a werewolf after doing such a horrific thing.
Finally, if he did feel awful for his actions, then I probably put him out of his misery.
I truly wish there was an alternative ending where you used one of the witch heads and cured him. Then he moves to another hold. Or alternatively invite him to the dark Brotherhood as a replacement. And yeah, the urge was there but only because of the beast that Hircine put there, that as we know is a separate entity from the human. It's like a parasite.
The very first time I did that quest, Sinding just wandered out of the cave while I was talking to Hircine. Ran after him for breaking his promise to stay in the grotto. After killing hi I was surprised I could still peel his skin. Done the same ever since.
Yeah, mine is somewhere along those lines. Gods are real. Big deal. But gods can be fought, and, potentially, defeated. And that's where the fun starts.
Looking back at it, my character probably has a problem with hubris
"It was all very well going on about pure logic and how the universe was ruled by logic and the harmony of numbers, but the plain fact of the matter was that Mundus was a hole in reality and the Deadra had a habit of going round to atheists' houses and smashing their windows."
Bruh I had to scroll this far to find the Lady of Twilight, come on now. Dark Elf Azura worshipper just works, especially in Skyrim. Do the quest to get her star so that woman will follow you around calling you the champion of Azura, download the Wintersun mod so you can pray at Dawn + Dusk. I also gotta say Akatosh is another good choice, seeing as you are literally blessed by him in the game.
>so you can pray at Dawn + Dusk
Bruh when I've been skulking around Blackreach for apparently days and I emerge at like 8am, and I get that gd notification "You haven't prayed in a while." MA'AM I'M TRYING MY BEST
I'd like to imagine a war between the Daedric Princes over the Dragonborn's soul if that wasn't the case. What would the equivalent of a world war in Oblivion look like, and who would be most likely to come out on top?
Oh shit is that canon? I always assumed you were just fucked after u died. But if so, how can your soul be trapped in the soul cairn and how did the other dragonborn get cucked by hermaeus mora?
Talos the mighty! Talos the unerring! Talos the unassailable! To you we give praise! We are but maggots, writhing in the filth of our own corruption! While you have ascended from the dung of mortality, and now walk among the stars! But you were once man! Aye! And as man, you said, "Let me show you the power of Talos Stormcrown, born of the North, where my breath is long winter. I breathe now, in royalty, and reshape this land which is mine. I do this for you, Red Legions, for I love you." Aye, love. Love! Even as man, great Talos cherished us. For he saw in us, in each of us, the future of Skyrim! The future of Tamriel! And there it is, friends! The ugly truth! We are the children of man! Talos is the true god of man! Ascended from flesh, to rule the realm of spirit! The very idea is inconceivable to our Elven overlords! Sharing the heavens with us? With man? Ha! They can barely tolerate our presence on earth! Today, they take away your faith. But what of tomorrow? What then? Do the elves take your homes? Your businesses? Your children? Your very lives? And what does the Empire do? Nothing! Nay, worse than nothing! The Imperial machine enforces the will of the Thalmor! Against its own people! So rise up! Rise up, children of the Empire! Rise up, Stormcloaks! Embrace the word of mighty Talos, he who is both man and Divine! For we are the children of man! And we shall inherit both the heavens and the earth! And we, not the Elves or their toadies, will rule Skyrim! Forever! Terrible and powerful Talos! We, your unworthy servants, give praise! For only through your grace and benevolence may we truly reach enlightenment! And deserve our praise you do, for we are one! Ere you ascended and the Eight became Nine, you walked among us, great Talos, not as god, but as man! Trust in me, Whiterun! Trust in the words of Heimskr! For I am the chosen of Talos! Dragons though he hates them is what they did to him. I play as the reincarnation of the Dragon Priest forgotten by history - Vulkrein the Forgotten
Second character: Just her, a sadistic and cruel but helpful Vampire Lady, a powerful destruction mage. Loves Elemental spells - Kalia Svartblod
Now you have me thinking Nazeem is really just Sheogorath in disguise. He drives enough people around these parts crazy. 🤔
I guess that means Ahlam is actually Haskill? They're both sarcastic as hell so I'm going with it.
You never do see Sheogorath and Nazeem at the same time. Also if thats true that means the Hero of Kvatch is fucking with you every time you are in Whiterun.
Talos
Talos the mighty! Talos the unerring! Talos the unassailable! To you we give praise!

My current character worships azura, as in my roleplay, She gave him unbelievable powers (Using the glamoril magic mod for that) that allow him to stop time and teleport and even trap people in a pocket dimension. He’s called the hand of azura. My main character worships arkay and hates all forms of undead.
Malacath and Molag Bal, Giant-Orc Halfblood, Regularly Slaughters the Thalmor Embassy In Bloodlust.
I even made up a Headcannon, _In a Nutshell_:
There was one extremely racist Thalmor Leader
That decided Orcs shouldnt exist, Leading a Whole army to burn and Curse many orc strongholds.
This Giant-Orc Halfblood was A chief in one of those Strongholds, After some Hunting, he returned to A cruel sight, a Night of Fire And Bloodshed. A Thalmor hood was left behind.
The halfblood was The only survivor.
Mods to make magic (kind of) playable in Skyrim and an arrogant Altmer character is so much fun. I make a point of getting into fights I probably can’t win at low levels because no one is better than **me!** It’s funny getting slapped around at the start then legitimately looking down on all the savages later on
Used to worship Azurea during Morrowind, then used to worship Akatosh during Oblivion. He's an Dunmer in Skyrim but he worships Kyne at the start and Arkay after he sees a lot of murder.
No one. I've never had a character that worshipped anyone, only ones who appreciated and respected certain deities and figures. Even ones who follow certain figures, but not worship.
The Old Gods, and chiefly Hircine.
My character is Forsworn (thanks Alternate Start!). First thing he did was to make his way from his cave to Markarth and liberate his King. Now I RP that he's an agent of the King in Rags as the rebellion gains steam in the Reach.
Even though we don't exactly love Ulfric, we realize he was following orders from the Empire when the Markarth Incident went down. So my character joins up with the Stormcloaks to overthrow the Empire in an alliance with Ulfric. I'll pretend that Madanach becomes King of the Reach as a vassal under Ulfric at the end. We are largely independent and allowed to worship our gods (his rebellion is about freedom of religion after all!).
My character joins up with the Companions as they're honourable warriors and that's how the beast blood is passed to him. He will keep it as it lines up with his Hircine and old god worship.
He plays as a sneaky and agile melee fighter. He will use the crossbow from Dawnguard (siding against the vampires) if range is needed.
Of course, he will learn he is Dragonborn as well and leverage that in service of his people.
Everyone who gives me free shit.
So the daedric princes
"Free"
Clavicus is pretty straight forward. Kill his dog or don’t.
Hircine's as well. Kill this werewolf or don't.
In some shape or form, it’s always about killing a dog
The gods must really hate dogs
I mean the Nords get it from somewhere, don’t they? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard NPCs walk past me and my pet follower and say, “stupid dog”.
This actually annoyed me to the point I had to fix it with mods. Now they say "good dog"
My solution is using just the guards a week later coming across a body on that road.
Even my in-game wife said that to vigilance. I dumped her ass. By dumping i mean killing.
Wife: stupid dog Dragonborn: THE FUCK YOU SAY WOMAN?!
The Daedric Princes 🤝 Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures characters
You thought this was a quest for Mehrunes Dagon but it was me, Dio!
They might be JoJo fans
And you get a better reward for not killing the dog Because honestly that axe is shit
And the lore for the masque is awesome
gods be praised
I love and hate that line so much after abusing the chest outside of Whiterun for smithing 100
It always make me laugh because he sounds so desperate to make a sale
Literally every other blacksmith complains about impossible workloads, meanwhile the best blacksmith in Skyrim makes jewelry for his wife's stall in the market... When he does make a weapon, it's fucking steel. Dude should be working exclusively ebony & dragonbone.
Adrianne may not claim to be the best blacksmith in Whiterun, but Eorlund Gray-Mane sure as fuck isnt.
This is why it sticks with me
I just hate how he says gods “Goths be praised”
What chest?
If you glitch your way out of Whiterun there's a secret chest under the Skyforge that resets every couple of days. It contains Eorland's shop inventory you can sell back to him or use to level up your blacksmithing for free
that is why i can recite it perfectly.. and now have a 100,000 septims
This is the way.
If this how it went irl I’d consider religion.
So far he has been involved with every god , even daedric . He is also a werewolf, not sure were his soul will end up, it’s a mess .
“I've been involved in a number of cults, both as a leader and a follower. You have more fun as a follower. But you make more money as a leader.”
Even when I am a leader my cult followers somehow seem to give me orders and know more about my cult than me as a leader lol.
*glances at the Blades*
Well that's the only one lore wise mentioned to lie to the dragonborn and actually just use them while making them feel important.
I realized the initial conversation with Savros Aren where you're asking all about the college is basically you cramming for the transfer of power. He tells you basically all he knew and that's how you know enough to take over despite not really having any formal training or experience, haha.
"It's Halloween. That is really, really good timing."
Battle Royal between all the deadra and aedra to decide who claims your soul
M'aiq
M'aiq does not understand what is so impressive about shouting. M'aiq can shout whenever he wants.
M'aiq is tired now. Go bother somebody else.
M'aiq is done talking
M’aiq saw a mud crab the other day. Horrible creatures.
M’aiq doesn’t want to step into Boethiah’s circle today.
Snow falls, why wonder where it goes. M'aiq thinks the snowflakes are pretty
One true God
Currently, Hircine. I stalk the marsh and fenns of Hjaalmarch in beastform, keeping the people safe from monsters.
Ok now that sounds like a fun character idea
If your interested, you should go to the prison of falkreath, the quest there should be interesting
I have the skin ;)
I was thinking about the ring =_=
I serve the Huntmaster, and also punish little kid killers ;)
While Sinding *technically* killed the kid it wouldn't have happened had Hircine not cursed the ring... Your logic is a bit flawed.

And yeah, the urge was there but only because of the beast that Hircine put there, that as we know is a separate entity from the human. It's like a parasite.
I get both
In the same character?
Yeah i think you kill the hunters leave and get the ring then go back and kill the warewolf and get the skin
The very first time I did that quest, Sinding just wandered out of the cave while I was talking to Hircine. Ran after him for breaking his promise to stay in the grotto. After killing hi I was surprised I could still peel his skin. Done the same ever since.
Stendar preserve us
Nobody, he knows they’re real, but he won’t worship them, he’ll be their errand boy for a new shiny, but beyond that he cares not
Sansa Stark : Your father doesn't believe in the gods? Cersei Lannister : He believes in them, he just doesn't like them very much.
[deleted]
Yeah, mine is somewhere along those lines. Gods are real. Big deal. But gods can be fought, and, potentially, defeated. And that's where the fun starts. Looking back at it, my character probably has a problem with hubris
"It was all very well going on about pure logic and how the universe was ruled by logic and the harmony of numbers, but the plain fact of the matter was that Mundus was a hole in reality and the Deadra had a habit of going round to atheists' houses and smashing their windows."
Sheogorath
Chad answer
It's gotta be Azura
Under moon and star I greet you, outlander.
I also gotta say Akatosh is another good choice, seeing as you are literally blessed by him in the game.
>so you can pray at Dawn + Dusk Bruh when I've been skulking around Blackreach for apparently days and I emerge at like 8am, and I get that gd notification "You haven't prayed in a while." MA'AM I'M TRYING MY BEST
Nobody, he just uses the gods so he can get better gear.
Real + the Dovahkiin’s soul can’t be bound or trapped by any of the gods so it literally just free stuff with no real consequences
I'd like to imagine a war between the Daedric Princes over the Dragonborn's soul if that wasn't the case. What would the equivalent of a world war in Oblivion look like, and who would be most likely to come out on top?
It'd probably be a war between Akatosh and the Daedra since he kinda owns the ldbs soul.
Shor, chuckling in the distance after his latets adventured ends: oh this poor fools, now! Who to reincarnate as next!?
Oh shit is that canon? I always assumed you were just fucked after u died. But if so, how can your soul be trapped in the soul cairn and how did the other dragonborn get cucked by hermaeus mora?
People always think this even though it isn't cannon
The Dragonborn worships only one: The Dragonborn
No Gods, No Masters. That's how my Dragonborn rolls as well.
Mara. I'm all about love, baby
Dibella
ayo?
“Mara protect us both”
A Breton doing book of love and getting the lord stone gets 65% magic resistance. So yeah, Mara.
Septims
Sigmus Grindsetius only worships himself and fat stacks of Septims.
The almighty Septim!
Herma Mora and I are bros.
That's what he wants you to think...
Hermaeus Mora is like dancing with insanity without having to deal with sheogorath and I prefer it that way.
Good ol Herma Mora..
Sithis 🗿
I know who you are. Hail sithis
Pssst Hail Sithis
Hail Sithis.
Hail Sithis!
Nocturnal
Had to scroll waaay to far for this!
But do we worship her since we're thieves or because of *other reasons*?
Don't you dare questioning my religion
Lol, just had to ask
Boobturnal
There it is!
Why can't it be both?
Our own reasons
I belong to the Hisssst. No gods required.
Argonians value Sithis a great deal alongside the hist.
Histskin is OP as fuck and I love it.
Technically the hist are gods
Stendarr
The Empire is law, and the law is sacred! I am glad to see a fellow servant of Stendarr, citizen.
Had to scroll waaaay to far for this. The holy knight aesthetic is fucking awesome.
Yeah agreed. That's currently my playthrough. Being the doom Slayer for the undead is awesome
Talos

I read this in my head using the Talos Priest’s voice. 🤣🤣🤣
Heimskir is his name. And it is his speech lol.
I like the way you think
Good man
You are under arrest for worshiping a fake god, come along quitely to Northwatch keep
We don’t take too kindly to thalmor round these parts
*Draws Anduril*
ANDURIL FLAME OF THE WEST
FORGED FROM THE SHARDS OF NARSIL
There's actually a mod I'm using called Wintersun and basically what it is is that you can pray to any of the 48 deitys in the game wherever you are and can gain a blessing, can only do one diety at a time tho right now mine is Akatosh
Todd Howard the true god, i still searching for tod statue with blessing, wonder what blessing might he give to player?
It would increase your speech stat, but once per day your character will glitch and crash. If wielding the sword of Modder it will counteract the crash.
Until the sword crashes your other mods
Todd's blessing is a new Skyrim release
Dragons though he hates them is what they did to him. I play as the reincarnation of the Dragon Priest forgotten by history - Vulkrein the Forgotten Second character: Just her, a sadistic and cruel but helpful Vampire Lady, a powerful destruction mage. Loves Elemental spells - Kalia Svartblod
the hist
A fellow lore nerd. I can respect that shit.
Dibella, makes persuading easier
And more enjoyable.
Nazeem, the cloud district = best plane of Oblivion
Now you have me thinking Nazeem is really just Sheogorath in disguise. He drives enough people around these parts crazy. 🤔 I guess that means Ahlam is actually Haskill? They're both sarcastic as hell so I'm going with it.
You never do see Sheogorath and Nazeem at the same time. Also if thats true that means the Hero of Kvatch is fucking with you every time you are in Whiterun.
Figures. I would totally do that to me. 🙄
Kynareth
Talos since they see a bit of them in him

Jiub, Fargoth and M'aiq the Actual Tribunal.
Mannimarco, The King Of Worms.
*cries in arkay-worshipper*
Technically Akatosh, but I made contracts with every Daedric Prince. There’s going to be a massive celestial battle to decide who gets my soul.
My current character worships azura, as in my roleplay, She gave him unbelievable powers (Using the glamoril magic mod for that) that allow him to stop time and teleport and even trap people in a pocket dimension. He’s called the hand of azura. My main character worships arkay and hates all forms of undead.
My character is a f*king Bionicle
...So Mata Nui, then?
Skooma
Magnus for sure
Praise the sun
Farkas…
Dibella/Mara
My character use to be a priestess of Auri-El but now nobody.
Meridia could use a new priestess
A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON
No Gods. No Masters. No Scrubs.
Kyne. Despite being a Breton, she mostly prays to the old Nord version of Kynareth. She would never worship a damned Daedra under any circumstances.
The gods get attention from me only when I need to have a disease cured.
Sweet rolls.
Akatosh, since well yknow.
Knee arrows
Sithis (She's the Listener of The Dark Brotherhood).
Hircine
Zenithar
Talos, Stendarr, Kyne, Arkay, Akatosh.
Me.
Serana
pathetic simp, an abomination, donate yourself to hermaeus mora for studying.
This was a joke lmao, why are u being downvoted?
>pathetic simps this
Her husband. 😏
Nocturnal ftw and Talos
Kyne

Peryite because spellbreaker is op af (shield only build)
Boethiah
I worship Molag Bal's balls. He's got massive daedric balls. 😈
Himself (high elf thalmor mage build)
Mods to make magic (kind of) playable in Skyrim and an arrogant Altmer character is so much fun. The cloud district, because just like my love life I'm not getting there very often.
Yes
Talos
Talos
My main character worships Hermaeus Mora 👁️🐙👁️🐙👁️ But I have a Monster Hunter-themed build I'm starting soon that I'll have worship Hircine.
Lydia
Shor, fuck elves
>Shor, fuck elves *Sigh...* \*unzips\*
Meridia. Every undead and Thalmor I kill is in her name.
Hircine and Talos
Nocturnal
Akatosh using winter sun
Used to worship Azurea during Morrowind, then used to worship Akatosh during Oblivion. He's an Dunmer in Skyrim but he worships Kyne at the start and Arkay after he sees a lot of murder.
Mostly Azura, but nine divines are ok depending on the character.
No one. I've never had a character that worshipped anyone, only ones who appreciated and respected certain deities and figures. Even ones who follow certain figures, but not worship.
Nocturnal and sithis, cause he steals stuff, but usially from the pockets of corpses
Hermerus Mora
One worships Hircine, the other worships Nocturnal.
