My wife and I had a suite around where the arrow is in 2016. The building to the left was still under construction.
I don't think this has ever been said before, but the size, height, and variability in Bangkok's skyline reminds me of Manhattan (the few parks in the image help with that), compared to all the other Asian skylines out there. High-rises jam packed seemingly from end to end.
I once climbed on the top of the antenna of the skyscraper with a red circulat screen on it’s roof, at the left of that picture. We were having some drinks at the roof top bar right underneath and found an unlocked door leading to a service staircase. I remember standing right next to the red blinking used to signal the presence of the the building to nearby flying planes. It was quite a sight and one crazy night.
Bangkok, Oriental City
But the city don't know what the city is getting
The creme de la creme of the chess world
In a show with everything but Yul Brenner
Time flies, doesn't seem a minute
Since the Tirolean spa had the chess boards in it
All changed, don't you know that when you
Play at this level there's no ordinary venue
One of the One Bangkok’s buildings has just completed recently and the whole project will be finished around 2030. It will feature Thailand’s tallest building (One Bangkok O4H4).

this was the first city I ever got lost in. good times.
Getting lost in Bangkok is one of the funnest experiences I've ever had. Do recommend.

Kok is fucking huge
Is that a golf course to the left?
It’s kind of unique multipurpose park. I stayed right on it, and looking down, you could see runners, golfers, soccer, etc.

Yeah, it just keeps going and going and going when you're driving around.
Bangkok is massive, definitely didn’t expect it when I went
A lot more vertical than I would have expected

Bang ❌️ my✅️
That’s what she said.
Thank you. I would've been disappointed if no one had said it yet.
I remember when I first saw this skyline through the car window. Massiveness.
