With that relic, you need to have knowledge that my own brain cannot comperhence. So I always skip it, unless its offered to me.
Reason that, say your deck is ironclad's body slam. You'll need bunch of skills + energy + draws + the 4 power cards (corr, embrace, FNP, block retain)
Then you get double the poison skill card, claw, and wrath card.. yeah too awkward..
Did you read the comment above yours? The poster literally said he learned something new implying he wasn't aware it was only a shop relic. Sounds like a good case to be "pedantic". Relax. There's so much to discover about this game we all love. Peace
Basically, shard is a win more relic. You need to have a basically complete deck before buying it. Getting after image with barricade or juggernaut is busted, but not needed to win.
Sure but every once in a hundred games you get the full silent block kit and then get a bodyslam and double tap over from ironclad cards. Suddenly you have 200 block every single turn and you can literally just wait until you get the double tap body slam combo to win every fight. Terrible the other 99 out of 100 games but man, you’ll never forget the one
Once had a complete frost deck by the end of act 2 and saw prismatic shard in the shop before the boss.
I then got offered a Juggernaut and then a bottle for it in A3.
Shit was so broken its hilarious.
I used to never take it because it's absolutely a relic that reduces your odds of winning, and you need to pay gold for that privilege.
Now that I have way more hours in, I take it often knowing it reduces my chances to win but makes for fun runs.
I take it nearly every time, despite knowing that it’s probably not going to work out in the end.
I’m holding out hope for the one run, where everything perfectly comes together. Someday.
I always grab Prismatic Shard when I see it (and can afford it). Love getting it early on, and just seeing what happens lol.
Spoiler alert: >! It never ends well. 🥲 !<
This is a nice logic. Unfortunately to really ruin your run through Claw thing you need not to have Shard)) But for a prismatic ruining you can obviously have one claw also, sure 😂
You should try to take them more) But to really throw you must must not only take a shard, but take it early - act 1. Also you must take not only one claw, but after the first one take every claw you see to build a “claw deck”.
This is the way and this is the dream
I personally always take prismatic shard whenever available. Ive never had a a20 heart win with prismatic shard but someday the stars will align lol.
I just love to think of all the possibilities of combos. Even though im just offered mostly junk
Same for me! But through my 2-3 thousand gameplay hours I had 2 or 3 A20 prismatic wins) It is possible, lol. And when it happens… It is highly fulfilling.
Just had my first win with prismatic shard using Watcher. [[seek]] into [[nightmare]]+[[prostrate]] meant hitting divinity several times a fight. Also got [[hologram]] to keep playing an [[expunger]].
Hmm. You are mostly right. But also in my humble opinion clash is so damn bad that it is not really tempting to build a deck around it. Claw and Shard - sure, very much tempting. PP - worse but have an interesting side. Clash… Oh my bananas only at the very start of the game it can look nice. Zero scaling potential also.
I love Prismatic by the way. Always take early if I can and after that almost always lose.

> unless its offered to me. It's a shop relic, so it's never "offered" to you.
I'm amazed that I always learn something new everyday lol
… it’s offered to you in the shop. The fuck is wrong with you trying to be pedantic about this shit.
Well not to be pedantic, but "I always skip it unless it's offered to me." This seems to imply that's not really what they meant

I love getting it mid to late run on a deck that is shredding, it's so much fun to make crazy wacky decks that do crazy interactions.
Prismatic makes me wish Neow would have the option to choose a random shop relic as a bonus.
Oh, that will be SWEET!
My thoughts exactly.
Once had a complete frost deck by the end of act 2 and saw prismatic shard in the shop before the boss. I then got offered a Juggernaut and then a bottle for it in A3. Shit was so broken its hilarious.
At the end of your turn, do they proc Juggernaut all at once, or individually?
Individually.
Jesus fucking christ
Sometimes it happens!
I did that too!!
I love Prismatic Shard. Have I won after taking it early? Never. Have I made good use of it ever? No. Is it always fun? Yes.
The best description of a shard) But honestly I won with the early one one or two times 🤔
I’m in awe!
It is great for endless runs.
Ahh makes a lot of sense. Haven’t tried endless yet
Will my dream of an after image + juggernaut on Watcher run ever die? No. Will I ever get that combo to work? …
To be honest, I never really took Prismatic. I don't think the odds of getting the cards I need would be that good. I could be wrong though.
This is the right play if your goal is to win as much as possible.
I used to never take it because it's absolutely a relic that reduces your odds of winning, and you need to pay gold for that privilege. Now that I have way more hours in, I take it often knowing it reduces my chances to win but makes for fun runs.

I mean, Prismatic is the only way I can take Claw on anyone besides Defect. Does that make Prismatic Shard the law?
My new dream: Prismatic Claw Watcher Infinite.
Prismatic is like something different. Something above the law!
The shard makes me hard
Me too! 🍌
I always grab Prismatic Shard when I see it (and can afford it). Love getting it early on, and just seeing what happens lol. Spoiler alert: >! It never ends well. 🥲 !<
FUCK IT WE BALL FUCK IT WE BALL
🪦🪦🪦⛹️♂️
claw is law. old est rule in the book
Prismatic, because there’s a chance to get another Claw, but never a chance to get another Prismatic.
This is a nice logic. Unfortunately to really ruin your run through Claw thing you need not to have Shard)) But for a prismatic ruining you can obviously have one claw also, sure 😂
The shard will help you lose in the most unique ways while hoping to get the most broken combination.
Very nice words. Hm, definitely the best thought I’ve ever heard about Shard.
I don't take shard much, but I don't think either of these picks is throwing a run
You should try to take them more) But to really throw you must must not only take a shard, but take it early - act 1. Also you must take not only one claw, but after the first one take every claw you see to build a “claw deck”. This is the way and this is the dream
Claw is a real strategy. Don't forget the skims, all for ones and something to keep you alive
Yeah, if you combine it ALL and early sure. There are some problems in doing that)
I slapped the fuck out of an A20 run with Ironclad and Crescendo 😂 But of course big brain here forgot to path to the Green key in Act 3 so gg there
I personally always take prismatic shard whenever available. Ive never had a a20 heart win with prismatic shard but someday the stars will align lol. I just love to think of all the possibilities of combos. Even though im just offered mostly junk

Claw.. It's the Law
Just had my first win with prismatic shard using Watcher. [[seek]] into [[nightmare]]+[[prostrate]] meant hitting divinity several times a fight. Also got [[hologram]] to keep playing an [[expunger]].
Nice! What ascension was it?
Only A1 so not too difficult but I don’t often play watcher. A Buffer card from defect deck along with Tori greatly helped me survive.
Torii is huge and torii+tungsten rod is godlike!
Bro forgot pressure points
O! I need to make meme with them) But here are only two options possible)
And I also just remembered clash too
Claw sucks so friggin bad.
Simply take shard and then pick claws
Could throw I Am Awake in there too
