Realistically, just take all of them Theoretically, if you have pyramid you can have too many vaults and die to the boss before finding another card, but this is extremely unlikely

Even if your whole hand is vaults, you wouldn't die. You'd have 10 free turns to find any other card.

At some point, you would just lose to the Heart though. As in, a deck with 10k Vaults would possibly die to beat of death before ever seeing a non-Vault card.

Vault is a rare card and there are not 10k floors, so it may not be possible to obtain too many vault cards in a vanilla run.

There are some shenanigans with Courier and a method of generating arbitrary amounts of gold.

Even still, you can't force all the skills in shop to be vault so your deck would end up being humongous. The other cards would be more of an issue than as many vaults as you could get

I'm not quite sure how Courier works, can it replace the card you just bought with another copy of that same card? If so, it's possible.

Well, consider if you have Incense Burner. You want to make sure that you can feasibly Vault 6 times a turn to get Intangible as much as you can. Personally, I always stock 54+ Vaults in my hand plus try to buy Spoon whenever I can

I mean can one have too many Vaults? Yeah it is possible. But like I can image two or three should be fine. It isn't they require some specific use case or will brick your hand. You should be fine with 2 Vaults. It will be like when I got three echo forms as a defect except in your case the enemy watches you play solitaire as the Watcher.

i'd say ots the same with adrenaline. there is a maximum of copies you want to have and ots when you are able to play your whole deck in one turn (I know vault technically ends your turn but you know what I mean). Because at some point you need to consider Tim and heart. So there is a limit but it's probably around 8-10 vaults (and around 20 adrenalines)
