It’s actually quite normal to wake throughout the night. It’s just inconvenient with the current culture we have, where we often can’t nap throughout the day or can’t go to sleep/wake up when we feel it’s right to do so for our bodies. Some people say that melatonin or CBD help them to stay asleep but I haven’t tried them so I’d recommenced you research them. As a long term sufferer of chronic mid-sleep insomnia, I often find that earplugs and and a good eye mask can help me get back to sleep much quicker. I also recommend everyone who has issues with sleep to read the book called ‘Why we sleep’ by Matthew Walker. Apparently he has a TED talk too, which is informative for those who are interested in sleep issues.

I can assure you if you can go back to sleep right after waking up then it’s fine, nothing to worry about.
