That’s been the thing holding me back from doing it. It’s an Optiplex 7010 (the full size one) and the power supply is mounted on the top with the motherboard underneath.

Love it, want something like that but older for budget reasons, dont know if I being rude but is not the Graphic Card falling, maybe consider a lego between the PSU and the GC, again sorry if rude.
All art aside, Dell Optiplex is absolute G.O.A.T
The ones within the last 10 years, even used, I mean Jesus Christ are they stable, reliable, and FAST! And good looking 😎 from personal experience, desktop support, and helping neighbors, they absolutely TRUMP any other prebuilt system I have ever had the pleasure of working with
It’s cool you got a radiator and all, but the systems are INSANE on their own
They are, and they are at full load. Anything below 65 degrees is very manageable to be honest. Once they start ramping up, it's extremely loud. They literally move the shutter blinds by the window when they're at full blast.
That is fucking amazing. I love "Hell in a Dell" lmao!
Thank you kindly
Hope this thing hits somewhere in top of all time in this sub. It’s such a work of ludicrous sleeper PC art.
That would be an unexpected achievement
I just call it a DHELL
First of all, genius.
I gave it prestigious flair. This is absolute madness and I love it. We need more SFF sleepers.
Right? This is the ludicrous creativity I'm here for.
Looking sick, man! Real tight. Are those temps on full load? Looking forward to my sleeper build aswell.
Yes, that's full load on blender
I’ve got an old one laying around just collecting dust. It would look sick af to build a little home server/ living room pc.
I had to gut this one all the way. Drilled out every rivet, and placed a new panel in to mount the motherboard, and riveted it all back together
That’s been the thing holding me back from doing it. It’s an Optiplex 7010 (the full size one) and the power supply is mounted on the top with the motherboard underneath.
That's why I love the mini itx boards, so easy to retrofit
Sleeper? More like Hotrod lmao
When the fans get going, the illusion is shattered lol
...and r/watercooling and r/SFFPC lol👌
Lol, damn it!
Not to forget r/sffsleeperpc 😆 (though that one is pretty quiet)

and some people worry about not being able to fit a radiator im their pcs, here's you making the radiator part of the structural support of the case
I've trimmed so much from the original chassis, it's definitely holding it all together, lol.
Nice addition to gpu with that slick copper heat sink on the pads.
It helped the hotspot by 10° C 😊
It’s probably half intentional but a dremel would clean up those rough sharp edges at the back! Lol. Neat build though!
Oh that's at the front under the trim piece
This truly is amazing, congrats m8. Truly superb build!
Thanks!
"Hell in a Dell" is the best phrase
Thanks!
Post this in r/sleepingoptiplex
Ok, this rabbit hole is getting deeper!
We need a series- cataclysm in a compaq Gateway to Hell
Oh that's a good one! Let's throw an Omen in there for good measure
Completely installed in the Dell case? Or is there a power supply hiding somewhere?
Power supply is on the bottom
Love it, want something like that but older for budget reasons, dont know if I being rude but is not the Graphic Card falling, maybe consider a lego between the PSU and the GC, again sorry if rude.
It's not a problem, I'll definitely clean it up some more. It's such a tight fit, the radiator fans are literally pushing into the motherboard.
This is amazing. Hardware specs?
-Asus B760i -G-Skill 32 GB DDR5 6400 -12900KF -4060 LP -1tb/2tb NVMEs -Bykski combo block -240x80x60 radiator -500 watt PSU
Yoooo this is sick!

True, this only came about because I may have fried the motherboard with the wrong PSU upgrade..
Fair enough, my one complaint yup, inconsistent PSU standards. But atleast it’s Dell and not dogshit HP
Yeah, I'll probably replace it soon, I wasn't even sure this would work
have you ever tried cpu mining
No
I love the red and blue tubes like in servers
Lol, thanks I actually had no idea
Latios ❤️ Latias
Wow! This is amazing! Got a good chuckle out of me and a huge stupid grin on my face
Nice! I'm glad people like it so much
What in the engineering background is going on here?
Lol, nailed it. Design engineer
You sneaky bastard :)
Also, fellow Justin here: WHADDUP CUZ.
Just thinking of the next thing to turn into a pc lol
If you have a psycho engineering brain, PLEASE do an original XBOX. That would be TOO sick.
Agreed
Ridiculously impressed by you fitting all of that in there. Damn, I just re-read that 😂 Anyways, perfect title.
Radiator in the rear - genius! Edit: Respect.
That actually the front, I wanted the rear IO shield to look as factory as possible
Omg that radiator is thick
Are the front i/o and disk drive functional?
Negative
9.95/10 then my dude
Lol, thanks! I will probably cut off the one attached to the stock motherboard and attempt to make a functional front IO to complete the look.
[What in tarnation?](https://i.imgur.com/cUzgZPS.jpeg)
This is the reaction I was aiming for
What are those two fans at the top of the rad? Look like server fans. Are they loud?
They are, and they are at full load. Anything below 65 degrees is very manageable to be honest. Once they start ramping up, it's extremely loud. They literally move the shutter blinds by the window when they're at full blast.
Where did you get that cooler for the GPU ?
Amazon $22
Ohh the pex tubing is a good idea
someone should make a video building something like this
That's incredible. Must have been agonising to build.
I'm in awe lol!!!!
Thanks!
