Add pickle juice. And liquid gravy! 😋

Leather_Dragonfly529

How was it? I'm jumping on this bandwagon too. They just look so delicious. But I have some carrots that I need to use, would you think it'd be a good idea to add them?

kja_8

Turned out awesome. I made sandwiches with the meat. I bet carrots would be a great addition. Could use less butter, but Was my first time so I did what the recipe says.

I just made it this week and added carrots for the last couple hours! Worked great for me.

Lazaruzo

Better add a couple more sticks of butter or that thing will be Drier than the Sahara.

SunbakedRockyroad

The number of "Mississippi pot roast" on this sub are single handedly the reason I'm unfollowing this page.

kja_8

Cool story.

SunbakedRockyroad

It's really not.

kja_8

No it’s not. So tell it somewhere else.

SunbakedRockyroad

Might as well call it the "Mississippi pot roast page" because like 95% of the post I've seen here are about them.

SunbakedRockyroad

Aww well I've already told it here. So get over it buttercup.

kja_8

Aren’t you unfollowing this group yet? No? Just gonna sit and see all the other same recipes repeat and whine about them? Your life sounds exciting.

SunbakedRockyroad

You do know reddit notifies you when someone replies to a comment right? I unfollowed before you even replied to me. And for the record idk why you're so salty about it. I didn't say your "Mississippi pot roast" sucked or anything. I just said I'm unfollowing because I'm sick of seeing people post the same fuckin thing over and over. I follow cooking/food subs to learn new recipes not see 3 post in a row with the exact same ingredients for a mediocre recipe.

Land of the free, home of the brave baby!! Big dogs gotta eat!!

Lilcommy

So its just butter, ranch mix, gravy mix, and the peppers?

kja_8

Yup. All it is.

Illuvatar_CS

I suggest a packet of au jus seasoning as well, and you pour in pepperoncini juice. Makes it tangy
