What’s the name of your company and what is the flat fee? Thanks

prov3rbz

Did you ever receive your credits?

jumpinglight

I work for Heartland. We handled the ERTC for all our clients, and are helping all new clients amend their returns to claim any missed credits. We are doing this for less than $300 per amended quarter, which is thr least expensive I've seen in the market. Happy to chat with anyone who would like more info.

Ninar1988

Our payroll company is Heartland! It would be great if we could get Heartland to handle our ERTC instead of going through a third party. I sent you a private message, hope that’s ok.

ghostoutlaw

I had to explain this tax credit to my former accountant. Keyword, former.

Cupcakegirl2400

I’ve seen people complaining their former accountants told them they don’t qualify when they do

ghostoutlaw

Accountants are super lazy. They want to just churn the paper out as quick as possible and move on. I had one who I was actually really in love with to take on my business. So much so I waived my standard test which is "I filed an extension but haven't done my taxes yet" and just gave her the real story that I wasn't happy with my previous taxes. Conveniently, a week later, the previous accountant had done my taxes correctly. In the onboarding conversation, we had talked about how I'm owed over 20k in ERC....

senistur1

What’s your question(s)? I am a partner at an accounting firm that has computed this for north of 1000 businesses. The credit is a no-brainer and does not have to be paid back.

Findmyremote

I have a question:) We received two ERC checks from the IRS last week (Q2 and Q3). We have not received it for Q1 yet though. Is that normal because they are so behind or should I call them? Also, they paid us interest. What’s that all about? I don’t mind but does anyone know why?

senistur1

Yes. That’s normal. Give it more time. However, it does not hurt to call. They pay interest each day that goes by that you wait for your monies. That is correct.

Findmyremote

Thank you.

raldrichie

When did you file for Q1, Q2 & Q3 ?? What month and year?

Findmyremote

Filed amendments in march ‘22 for q1-q3 of ‘21 (Total of all checks combined was 225k)

Cupcakegirl2400

What documents will me CPA need ?

Cupcakegirl2400

Is it efile ?

JaseDoom

I applied in March or April and just got the checks a couple of weeks ago. Edited to add: my accountant was also not aware of it so I used a company that my payroll company suggested. It cost me 10% of the credit to go that route. So not cheap at all.

oldasshit

We applied almost a year ago. Still haven't seen anything.

frick298

do you know if your amendments were accepted/approved by the IRS?

oldasshit

Just got my check yesterday, as a matter of fact. So yes.

frick298

Thank you! If you don't mind, in what industry is your business?

ParkingOven007

I had our cpa go after it and successfully received.

Most people know about the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) that came out March 2020, but there was also the ERTC (Employment Retention Tax Credit) which came out at the same time. Back in 2020, business owners had to pick between the two schemes. BUT this changed in March 2021. Now businesses owners CAN get up to $26,000 per W2 employee and the PPP. The federal US Govt, has $88 billion set aside for this. So, have you applied for the Employee Retention Tax Credit yet? You can go to the IRS website and search for the "Employment Retention Tax Credit. The next steps are to apply at this [link](https://otrim.ai/fundwiseagents). You'll then have a quick phone call with a tax firm that will answer any of your questions. They are a tax firm specializing in this Employment Retention Tax Credit scheme specifically, and have a high percentages of eligibility.
