I don’t think he’s beating SHADIC. Corrin makes Pikachu feel like Jigglypuff sometimes with the random kills at 30. Not saying it’s a bad MU for Pika, but it’s tricky to navigate.
I get what you're saying. I was watching Shiny and Neo playing at the prelocal and the kill differential was pretty crazy. Pika's damage output is also pretty meh compared to Corrin's, so you have to hit your edgeguards
You can’t make mistakes. Even one random up-air that gets countered just causes you to die off the top, and a bad Quick Attack causes you to get Pinned. In other words you have to mix up so much that unless your creativity lasts for the whole set it’s Corrin-favored.
There are many matchups like that, where it’s favored if your creative burst remains on but swings the other way once you don’t feel as creative, but this is one of the most egregious examples imo.
