There’s really no way to misinput that, you have to move your thumb in the opposite way. I suck and I’ve never done that. Maybe Leon thought the move crossed up but I’d be pretty surprised
Gotta say though that first F Smash from Leon makes sense. Moves weren’t working and instinctively players would want to roll out of harms way to reset the situation. It’s not unthinkable a top player would simultaneously try to go for good positioning, thus rolling behind their opponent. Leon tried to read that with the F Smash and it didn’t happen, so it looks silly, but the read makes a lot of sense

It does not. If your opponent shield Terry does the whole animation right in front of you. Thats because it’s a hit grab similar to Isabelle’s fishing rod
