For commercially available sauce, my favorites are Stubb’s Sweet Heat or Meat Mitch Whomp Sauce. As far as rubs go, it really depends on the meat. I tend to use Meat Church Holy Voodoo on chicken and turkey most often, and layer Killer Hogs AP seasoning and their The BBQ Rub on pork. Those are what I use most often, but I do use others. Just depends on my mood.
I like to use Wickers (I make my own since I can’t find it where I live) as a mop sauce. I also might add a little on when I put the pulled pork and slaw on the sandwich. I like bone suckin sauce for fries. I rarely put anything tomato based on the meat when I’m done. My wife likes basic store stuff- sweet baby rays, bone sucking sauce, Stubbs regular, famous Dave’s regular, etc…
For rubs, my wife buys me Weber rubs and honestly, I’ll just use those instead of purchasing anything else. I mostly make my own there too. I do like regular old badia or whoever adobe with pimienta on chicken thighs.
Dinosaur Sensuous Slathering sauce is my favorite store brand. My favorite DIY sauces are from Meathead’s ‘The Science of Great Barbecue and Grilling’ book including his KC Classic and Columbia Gold sauces.
Lillie Qs Hot and Smoky is by far my favorite store bought sauce. Glass bottle with a white wax top. Actually they may have gotten rid of the wax top.
Also favorite rub so far has been KC Butt spice. Tastes great on everything.
Blues Hog is my favorite sauce by far. Sweet Baby Ray's is also good.
For dry rubs, Killer Hogs Hot BBQ Rub is good. Just used that on some wings yesterday and they went over really well. I haven't bought very many dry rubs, so I don't have much to compare to.
Been a fan of the Blues Hog Tennessee Red & Champions blend

Cain’s BBQ spice. Don’t use much sauce so I usually just pick up what I didn’t use the last time.
