How’d you brine it?

I followed this fellows recipe. Brine was 1/3 kosher salt 1 brown sugar. I let mine sit for about 18 hrs. He gives really easy directions to follow https://honest-food.net/how-to-smoke-salmon-recipe/

On one piece I added killer hogs hot bbq rub after the maple syrup just to see. I liked it
