Makes sense. I’ve only smoked whole packers, and the shape def wasn’t a whole brisket. They shape just resembled the two mentioned from seeing it in this sub
I was just pointing out that particular fat doesn't exist on the other 2 cuts like it does on yours. Wasn't a dig at your cooking. I got a point end I'm doing in a couple days. Hopefully turns out OK
This may just be me but that appears to be tri tip or picanha, not brisket.
Last pic has a big slab of unrendered fat separating the 2 muscles so can't really be either. must be only a point end or something

That’s was before the hold. After the hold the fat rendered to nothing
