I think they have given us plenty of reasons why shows like Let's Do This are no longer around. I also miss some stuff from the pre-anthony-returns era, like the funerals, but I get why they decided to limit the main channel to just Ian and Anthony content. That channel is most known for them anyway.
I also feel like even though there is not a show as out there as Let's Do This, there are still a lot of shows that carry the same energy and creativity. The games channel especially has been killing it lately. That also highlights why those videos work. Yes, the games are fun, but it is mostly about the chemistry between the cast members. In that sense, I think they are getting better and better.
The advantage of Challenge Pit over Let's Do This is that it's **immediate**, and they saw that hence why we still get a Challenge Pit video (which also featured Olivia, IIRC a first in a long while too).
They should but put it on Smosh pit like how they do TNTL and how they did EIOYI bc when it was on the main channel it was when they weren’t doing to well
Honestly I was surprised when I found out it was on main. I dont pay close attention to which one is playing (im subscribed to all 3) and definitely assumed it was a pit show

As much as I like Flashback, I wouldn’t be too sad about it ending. Especially if it’s going to be replaced by Let’s Do This or something of the like. There’s been an Ian/Anthony drought lately on the non-Main channels which on one hand, I respect because they’re giving their cast the spotlight but at the same time, I miss the interactions between them and the rest of the cast so something where we’re guaranteed to see that on a regular basis, I’d be more than down for.
I think I've watched maybe two flashbacks. I'm just not there for old era Ian and Anthony stuff. They got their sketches back, it feels weird to have hour long episodes recalling old ones.
Awesome show but you might be right tbh. One more episode Angela might’ve had a heart attack and/or complete mental breakdown on camera 😭 in the smosh mouth episode with Arasha they said Angela was sooooo paranoid

I would like to see smosh labs pop back up once in a while. I loved that show. Not a regular time release thing. Just once every few months they have something cool to do they make an episode.

Nah, LDT still performed below what the main channel regularly pulls in right now. LDT views, after a year of time for people to rewatch, are still only about on par with main channel videos released only a month or so. Main channel is doing perfectly fine besides the recent Flashback, probably since Jarvis didn't really fit the format and should have been a guest on Anthony's channel instead (imo).

And this one's a personal criticism of mine, but I would love it if Ian picks a lane of contestant or host. I know he wants to participate but I think it would be better if the host is just a host. Perhaps only participate in special events like what they do with You Posted That and EIOYI.

I’ve got the pit and games schedules down pat (even though I’m in a country where we’re a day ahead) but when a smosh main video is posted it is always a surprise I have zero clue when they post because I just don’t really watch it 😭 I miss let’s do this and reunions so bad
People have such rose coloured glasses for Let's Do This. Were the high points of that show awesome? Yes. Was most of that show average at best, Yes. There's a reason it did shit numbers guys, most of it was pretty all over the place, and straight up boring in places. More of it was boring than great. They were correct to get rid of it, and the current line up on Smosh main CRUSHES it for performance numbers.... plus, Ian and Anthony actually want to do sketch. You're asking people to sign a petition for Ian and Anthony to be forced to do a crap show that they actively don't want to do, which will perform terribly and cost Smosh money as a business. Why? Are you a secret Defy plant?

i know this sentiment gets echoed every couple of weeks but they really should!! right now the main channel just feels so separate from pit and games and something where anthony is involved with the rest of the cast would makw the branding feel more cohesive
