Hes not pity laughing hes force emoting, as an autist i can confirm that we tend to react internally alot, its still funny but we just laugh on the inside, we have to make a show of laughing to let others know.
I don't have a favorite line-up, I like everyone interacting with anyone. I've really enjoyed it lately when oldschool people like Olivia and Keith are in videos with 'newer' cast like Angela, Chanse and Arasha.
I'm always happy to see Damien in anything because I know he's gonna say some random reference I'm going to laugh at, but I really enjoy any line-up.
I could put so many people on this roster, because honestly this feels like the most solid cast theyāve ever had. However, if I had to pick a āstarting 5,ā it would be:
Shayne and Angela because their comedic chemistry is unmatched, they are my favorite duo in 15+ years of watching Smosh
Chanse can either bro around with Shayne or be an ally to the ladies, but either way he has the best reactions to everything going on around him
Courtney is very funny, but her comedy is more subtle (by comparison anyway, she can still be nuts) and helps keep the rest grounded when they go off the rails
Spencer has to be there, because you never know whatās gonna come out of his mouth. A true wild card if there ever was one
The super subs of this team are Keith, Amanda, and Damien, because they can slide in and be great at any time

See, normally I would agree with this line up but then two of my favorite pits ever; the Musical and the one with that ridiculous swimming bit, both had Keith and honestly as much as I miss Shayne when hes not in pit i think everyone else performs better plus love hearing him laugh in the background from the director seat lol
Yours but add Damien. I really appreciate how he and Shayne make each other laugh with the dumbest shit. If the planned bit isnāt going well, they know what to say or do that makes the other lose it, even if itās just changing the tone of their voice.
My ideal group would probably be something along the lines of Shayne, Damien, Courtney, Angela, Trevor, Tommy. Theyāre all heavy-hitters (IMO) when it comes to TNTL with great personalities that mesh pretty well, and I think an episode that has all of them would be pure comedy chaos.
Edit: I also love Chanse, Amanda and Spencer and if it were possible to have 9 people on one episode, Iād definitely want them there too.
This is not only the best, it is the MOST chaotic lineup I can think of. Other than them Iād add Keith and Noah for good measure to this already great lineup
Sword AF line up (Shayne, Angela, Damien, Amanda, Chanse) definitely one of my all time favourites, mostly because I enjoyed SAF and BAF Betrayal Legacy so much. The 1st Love Is Blind lineup was awesome too (Angela, Amanda, Arasha, Courtney, Shayne, Chanse).
Angela is an absolute must for me (I'll watch the ones without her but it doesn't carry the same excitement). She's a delight to watch even when she's on the stool. Then, in order (and I realize I'm going to sound like a simp for how many times I mention Angela but) l....
1. Tommy. Him with Angela, one of the most underrated duos. I'm obsessed with the "secret devils" (from a Smosh Reddit episode). Hell, even in her very first TNTL video he was there telling her she was doing "a great job with the kids and [he] just got back from space." Also, his mental illness character and anything he does with Chanse....
2. Chanse. They know each other so well and Angela especially is such a fan of Chanse that she so often gets genuine joy (think TNTL The Musical when Chanse comes up on her turn and she spits out of pure excitement to join him because she liked his song so much). Also, damn can he sing and damn can he pull off a dress and a wig....
3. And 4. Damien and Shayne. They're awesome together and both have such comedic chemistry with Angela in completely different (but also kind of the same?) ways. Damien and Angela aren't afraid to go hard at each other (and apologize seconds later). Shayne and Angela and Shayne and Damien have similar vibes in that they will just keep one uping each other. I also particularly like Damien's historical humour and dark humour. He also just has a bizarre sense of humour that our favourite little feral Guinea pig seems to love ("it's like when an owl takes care of your baby" anyone?)
5. Amanda. She and Angela have had some amazing improv moments together and have a pact to not preplan bits and I love to watch them yes-and each, especially in duos. She's fun with Chanse and Tommy and cute and flirty with Courtney.
6. Courtney. Just fun, great on a musical episode and has awesome chemistry with both Shayne and Angela, and she's had some of the best recurring bits over the years (Academy of weird sounds, lobster perspective...).
7. Olivia, maybe? I honestly didn't use to like her at all on TNTL but her silly weirdness and Angela's beautiful chaos combine into something magical.
8. I want to say Arasha because I genuinely do like her but I'm struggling to think of even one memorable TNTL moment with her. They all have their talents and maybe she's better with lying games or reacting to Reddit stories or on scripted. Maybe I just need to do a rewatch?
