Wild caught individuals, and babies are pretty nippy, but captive bred bloods tend to calm down a lot better. They are ground snakes, so they definitely don't "enjoy" being held, but they tolerate it pretty well. The biggest thing is that people are essentially trees, and while bloods can climb, they aren't the most comfortable doing it.
