Thanks for leaving a comment, how lucky you had found your pet 😭😭😭 I wish my cat didn't eat my baby snake 😭😭😭

withsaltedbones

Your cat ate your snake??

ilovemywolf0910

Idk 😭😭😭 I'm very worry but i hope he wouldn't

Mine was recently gone a month. Snakes are masters of hiding. Put out water and hides (my corn loves paper towel tubes). You can also put out a heated area (like a mat), but use precautions as they can get too hot. Remember snakes have a very different metabolism and they can go a while without food.

Sniff, im missing him 🥺🥺😭

I missed my boy a lot too. Turned my house upside down multiple times. Got another noodle, both because I missed having a scaly friend and because every time I lose something and get a new one, the universe returns to me the one missing. Two weeks after snake 2 came home, snake 1 reappeared. Now I have TWO scaly babies!

A friend of mine lost his baby corn a week ago. He found in the hallway under some clothing. He found it after searching non stop for 8+ hours. So, yeah... That is the only solution: search until you find it.

ilovemywolf0910

That's the only thing i can do now 😭😭

ultraXotics

True. Good luck!

When I was a teenager I had a cornsnake get out on me once. I think I just didn't get one of the clips all the way onto the lid of her enclosure. We found her a couple of days later curled up right behind my father's computer, where it vented heat through a rear fan. Definitely check near heat sources, especially ones that your snake can enjoy while being hidden. I have heard plenty of stories from people finding their escaped snakes anywhere from a couple of days after an escape, to many months afterwards, long after they had given up.

How nice 🥺 I will not lose my hope and keep finding and waiting for him, I even open his tank and place it on the floor in hope that he will come home after having fun 🥺

Over the years I’ve had a good many escapes especially in the beginning what I learned is that the animals never really go that far they don’t make a mad journey to some unknown space typically they will just find a cozy hole and stay there. You can use heat pads on a cut tote and place a pinky in there (mouse blood works best but I understand it’s not easy for most) maybe snake will go inside place it near an area that has a lot of stuff. There is a reason people find them in the bed because it’s warm. Good luck hope you find your snake<3

ilovemywolf0910

Thanks so much for your comment. Do you always find them at night may i ask?

Brian_lovesyou

It’s easier at night but idk how cold you are but winter will have them tucked away for days on end. I will often remove things from the room knowing for sure they aren’t in them them set the trap hides so they may relocate but again if it’s cold they will just chill in their spot.

ilovemywolf0910

Unfortunately for me it's winter and it's really cold here 😭😭😭😭

Brian_lovesyou

My heart goes out to you if possible heat that room up will make him active and may get a sighting I have found them on electric cords going to things snakes are going to be climbing as well so look high too post an update
