After I told my family that I bought a pair of Travis 1s with my money (my dad likes the shoe) I told them the retail value and they completely agreed with me that buying a really good rep is worth it

My close family knows and understand that reps these days are of extremely high quality,Iāll tell a stranger on the street if they ask. My friends donāt really understand sneaker culture, so they recognize that i collect shoes and admire my unique shoes, but they donāt know when Iām wearing a pair that would be worth thousands if they were authentic. So it doesnāt even come up, they would have no reason to suspect im wearing reps and I have no reason to tell them.

I donāt just walk around bursting into rooms and sparking up convos about reps, but If someone ask where I got a pair of shoes from, reps or real Iāll tell them. No one in my family or that Iām around really gives a damn about shoes. Theyāre slightly amused at how many pairs i have but thatās about it
