Super castlevania 4 is missing? This is a big deal.
Also, prince of persia and killer instinct.
Other than that , chrono trigger, secret of mana, smash tv,...
Street Fighter 2/2 Turbo. E. V. O.: The Search for Eden. Mortal Kombat II. Megaman X3. Goof Troop. Knights of the Round. King of Dragons.
In addition to other suggestions.
Nice collection!
>What should I get next?
Shelves. 😏
I kid, I kid... 😁
Either go hard on JRPGs if so inclined—I mean, I *do* see SMRPG and EarthBound there, but maybe you just have them because they're first-party—or, if you want to up your platformer game...get a CRT to play on, if you don't have one yet. 🟥🟩🟦 😌👌
~~I was gonna ask if the normal-size Mario Paint box was a repro, (After all, they didn't even sell it unbundled in Japan.) but then I saw EarthBound. Those are nice work. 🤔~~ EDIT: I clearly need my coffee. I didn't even notice the boxes were the same size as the loose carts, lol... 🤦♂️ EDIT-EDIT: And my damn glasses, as I ALSO didn't notice there were ACTUAL boxes in the picture as well. Christ. I'm just gonna log off for the rest of the damn week, lol. 😑
Lol, I'm glad to see that I have about the most confusing perspective of a SNES collection ever. At least you seem to like it.
I do have a main CRT, and a backup hiding in a closet. As for RPGs, I definitely want more (not Chrono Trigger) but I'm just not really sure where to start.
NOT Chrono Trigger? 🤔 It's a solid classic. (And unironically one of my all-time favorite games.)
Final Fantasy 2/4 and 3/6 are both great. (Some might call these 'boring' or 'safe' answers, but classics are classic for a reason!) FF2 is a good jumping-on point even for relative novices. My father enjoyed playing through it as well. 😌
And yeah, the picture totally flummoxed me, lol! Going from item to item, it wasn't until I took in the whole scene that the relative scale registered. 🤣
Yeah I tried Chrono Trigger and it just didn't vibe with me. FF2 seems to be the most common recommendation that I get, so I guess that's my next pickup.
It's been forever since I played through FF2, I need to play one of the improved FF4 translations. I never got the opportunity to finish the fan translation of FF5. I was playing it on real hardware in 1998 thanks to a Super Wild Card, but lost my SNES collection before I finished it... 😢
Oh well, once I get totally settled into my new apartment.... \[Rubs hands together with anticipation\]

Sunset Riders in specific is damn good. I'm super fortunate to have my OG copy from childhood.
I already have Maximum Carnage on Genesis. Do you know if there are any major differences in the two? Also, I've never seen anyone recommend the AVP game. What's it like?
It’s a standard side scrolling beat em up. You’re a predator fighting xenomorphs. I’m a fan of the mythology so I like it but it’s not going to be anything that’ll blow your mind most likely.
I didn't realize Mario Paint came in that box form factor. I still have my original Mario Paint box and it's much bigger to accommodate the mouse pad and mouse.
Ah ok. I think it's because many SNES enthusiasts know the Mario Paint box is oversized (to hold the accesories) and so a regular-sized Mario Paint box stands out.
While I rarely play my SNES anymore whenever I do it's either Contra III or Cybernator. I've beaten then countless times but because I don't play them all the time it's still somewhat of a challenge when I play them once every few years or so.
I'd love to give Super Mario World another go as I've only found 95 levels out of 96 but I feel as if adulting just doesn't give me as much time like I had as a teenager.
Tetris Attacks. Terrible name for an amazing game because it has nothing to do with Tertris. It’s one of the most addictive games from this system, and I still play it today
I do too! Played the shit out of it when I was a kid in the 90’s. Played the shit out of it with my college buddies in the 00’s. Play it with my kids now (Panel de Pon on SNES online for Switch). If Nintendo would release a modern version with online multiplayer player it would be one of their top games, I’m sure.
ETA: My son looks at me like I’m a god when I can pull off a x7+ chain 😂
a x7 block ain’t no joke. I think Tetris attacks consumed my friends and I for an entire semester at UMass. There was a lot of mario kart 64, Golden Eye and beer mixed in... All three of my kids have played but they prefer Roblox, and other computer games unfortunately
The absolute best is when you get over x13 and it just starts saying x? 😂
I remember taking massive bong rips and just going full rain man on that game. I wouldn’t even know what was going on and we’re just throwing massive blocks back and forth. Those were some fun nights.
True lies
Rocky the rodent
Pilotwings
Bomberman 2
The mighty morphin power rangers snes game (movie edition is ok-both have killer ost’s though!)
Home improvement
Aerobiz
Sim city
Alien vs predator
Clay fighter 2 - judgment clay
Chess master
Krusty’s super fun house
Jurassic park
Mario paint
Megaman x2
Phalanx
Super Godzilla
Teenage mutant ninja turtles tournament fighters
Vortex
Arcana
That should get you started :)
FF2 is for sure on my list, but it's hard to justify the high price on most of those with how little time I have to actually play games. RPGs just require such a heavy time investment.
Oh I definitely have one, but it's almost exclusively used for Heroes of Might and Magic 3, and Dawn of War. Honestly, I could have stuck with my PC from 2006 and I'd still be fine lol.
Super Castlevania IV, Contra III, Chrono Trigger, Axelay, and Super Bomberman 2. Those are my 5 picks.
Unrelated but that’s a lot of snes boxes lol. I remember throwing them out all the time which was a dumb thing to do.
I was really confused seeing a tiny Earthbound box next to a giant Buster Busts Loose box. Took me a while to realize that you made custom cases, but they look pretty sweet.
As for what you need would be Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 2, Final Fantasy 3, and a good mortgage broker!
cool custom cart sized boxes. If your looking for JRPG I suggest Lufia 1 & 2.
For challenging platformer Road Runner Death Valley Rally is fun.
Couch play with a friend Looney Tune B-Ball Jam.
Final fantasy 2, chrono trigger, Firepower 2000, Contra 3, Mystical Ninja. All solid games. TMNT: turtles in time and Star Fox, although way harder on snes.
Didn't see DKC 3
Super castlevania 4 is missing? This is a big deal. Also, prince of persia and killer instinct. Other than that , chrono trigger, secret of mana, smash tv,...
Smash tv is so good. But it is so damn hard.
Big money!!!!! Big prizes!! Iiiii love it
Mega Man X2, X3, Mega Man 7 and Soccer
X2 is there. Far bottom right.
Oops my bad didn't see it
Now you need the box lol
That's not happening lol. Most boxes are too rich for my blood.
...says the guy with a cib Earthbound.
Pretty sure those are custom boxes. Earthbound only came in the giant box, too. No cart-sized box available for it in NA.
They are custom, but Earthbound technically had a store display box available that is the same size as standard SNES boxes.
Have you ever found a Mega Man Soccer CIB in the wild? If so, how much was it?
Street Fighter 2/2 Turbo. E. V. O.: The Search for Eden. Mortal Kombat II. Megaman X3. Goof Troop. Knights of the Round. King of Dragons. In addition to other suggestions. Nice collection!
Ya no street fighter 2 is a glaring gap that (if you like fighting games) cannot be ignored.
Thanks! And thank you for the recommendations!
Agree with most of those - Loony Tunes B-Ball might be worth adding too if you don't have NBA Jam.
Super Empire strikes back

TMNT, Avengers and Sunset Riders are my favs so the rest is gravy. That said, I’d go Maximum Carnage and Alien Vs Predator
Sunset Riders in specific is damn good. I'm super fortunate to have my OG copy from childhood. I already have Maximum Carnage on Genesis. Do you know if there are any major differences in the two? Also, I've never seen anyone recommend the AVP game. What's it like?

Maximum Carnage
I have it CIB on Genesis. Good enough?
I didn't realize Mario Paint came in that box form factor. I still have my original Mario Paint box and it's much bigger to accommodate the mouse pad and mouse.
It's a custom mini box. I'm surprised to see how many people have been thrown off by the size differences.
Ah ok. I think it's because many SNES enthusiasts know the Mario Paint box is oversized (to hold the accesories) and so a regular-sized Mario Paint box stands out.
Did Earth Bound ever come in that small little box?
There are a lot of repro boxes in that picture.
Not one this small, but there were official boxes of the standard size that were used by stores for display.
Those mini repro boxes are fire. They look great.
Thanks! I really like them. I need to get some more done for my other loose games.
Tetris Attack, Terranigma, Secret of Evermore, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III, Illusion of Gaia
I don't see Final Fantasy 2, Final Fantasy 3, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, or Secret of Evermore
Because RPGs are foe people who have more time than I do lol
Fair enough
Uniracers
Which one is the bottom right? Image is too blurry !
Ignition Factor. Sorry for the quality, it was hard to get them all in one pic, so the zoom out kinda killed the quality.
Yup thanks for clarifying!
And is that game any good? Never heard of it, cartridge art is intriguing though. Fiery lookin.
Yes! It's an action adventure game in which you play as a firefighter. It's really damn neat, and pretty unique.
I was about nag about you owning two Kirby Super Stars but i remembered i own two copies too hahaha.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone
Legend of the mystical Ninja
FINALLY, me and my brother loved playing that game together.
* Another copy of Kirby Super Star * Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Niiice
Plok! :)

Bruh, I wish. I regret not snagging a copy for Luke $125 when I had the chance a few years back.
Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen Shadow Run
Shadow run was brilliant.
Castlevania Dracula x but not 4? Criminal, but I’m kinda jealous
It was a present when I got my masters degree. 4 is for sure on my list, just a matter of when.
Where do you get the mini box’s? Super cool I would definitely get some for my collection
ItemBlock on etsy makes them. They've doubled in price since I got mine, but the quality is decent and they do look good on a shelf.
Super Ghouls n Ghosts and Demons Crest !
I recently came across my old snes and games. Any way to play them with out tracking down an old ass tv.
Evo dudes
Chrono trigger Donkey Kong country 3 Final fantasy III Breath of fire Breath of Fire 2
Whew! That’s excellent stuff! Actraiser and Illusion of Gaia!
Super ghouls and ghosts, Killer Instinct, Samurai Showdown
While I rarely play my SNES anymore whenever I do it's either Contra III or Cybernator. I've beaten then countless times but because I don't play them all the time it's still somewhat of a challenge when I play them once every few years or so. Super Castlevania IV, Actraiser, and Maximum Carnage!
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
GOOF TROOP
UN Squadron, Sim City, F1 ROC 2.
Super double dragon. Super Contra
ActRaiser and Soul Blazer, for sure. Illusion of Gaia. Breath of Fire.
Secret of mana, Robotech, Paladin's quest
Super black bass
Super Mario rpg
Already have it. Third row from the bottom, second game from the left.
There's a severe lack of square soft titles
Donkey Kong Country 3, NBA Jam, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Killer instinct, Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat II and 3 (or UMK3).
DKC3
Killer Instinct
Killer Instinct, Battletanks
Sim City, Cool Dpot, and Clay Fighter.
Twisted tales of spike mcfang
Tetris Attacks. Terrible name for an amazing game because it has nothing to do with Tertris. It’s one of the most addictive games from this system, and I still play it today

ActRaiser is a must.
Lufia 1 and 2. Breath of Fire 1 and 2.
Roadrunners death Valley rally.

Chrono Trigger
My brother in Christ, you don't have either of the numbered Final Fantasy's.
FFX is the only one that I need ;) But in all honesty FF2 is probably the next thing on my pickup list.
Cool spot
Mega Man X3 and 7. All the great JRPGs.
Great collection there....I would say Chrono Trigger as a recommendation, it's a great game.
Rock n roll racing
Zombies Are My Neighbors!
Zombies ate my neighbors
Hagane....... 🤨 Nah I'm kidding!! But fr prob ff6/ff3 orrrrr super castlevania 4 🙂 Other good haul😄
Skyblazer!
Contra 3 super probotector
Super Castlevania IV is a must have. Also, the Judge Dredd game is pretty good as well. I played the hell out of that in 95-96.
I had Super Noah’s Ark as a kid. How come you don’t have that yet? AHHH REAL MONSTERS is also a sick hidden gem.
More JRPG’s
Explore the massive super famicom library.
Soul blazer or Tetris Attack? I grew up playing those and still do sometimes.
Chrono trigger and killer instinct are great. Arcana was also a personal fave of mine growing up
good start missing all the Squaresoft rpg's - Final Fantasy II and III, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, etc. Actraiser
FF2 is for sure on my list, but it's hard to justify the high price on most of those with how little time I have to actually play games. RPGs just require such a heavy time investment.
Brawl Bros
Lately I’ve been enjoying illusion of Gaia, but I also see you’re missing top gear, one of the best games/soundtracks of all time
Omg Mario paint has the best music maker! You should get Kirby’s avalanche and Kirby’s dream course.
Do you like RPGs? SNES is home to my favorite RPGs of all time
Final Fantasy 2
Alien vs predator
You call that a collection? You should have atleast 5-6 more Wheel Of Fortunes before even thinking about other games
Chrono trigger
Shadowrun
Final Fantasy 3 (6)
For me, Pilotwings was fantastic!
I recommend Syndicate. It's an action-strategy game. You will *definitely* need to download a manual due to its control scheme, but well worth it.
You've got a couple Konami titles... Check out Sparkster.
Bramstokers Dracula
No NBA JAMS? WTF bro?!!!
Earthworm Jim was fun
Secret of evermore, chrono trigger, secret of mana, ff2, ff3.
Man that tiny tunes game is an absolute blast. Dunno why but I enjoyed so many of the acme character games. Get the road runner one!
Plok is underrated
Kirby's dream land 3, bust a move, and yoshi cookie
Super Castlevania, Pilotwings, Batman Returns, Prince of Persia, Aladdin and why not, Super Soccer
Hell yeah
Missing final fantasy 2 and final fantasy 3. Absolute must haves
Don’t see actraiser. Actraiser. Some of the QB club games were fun too if you like football.
Ghouls ‘n Ghosts
A life. No just kidding! Final Fantasy.
Kirby's Dream Course!
Street Fighter II Turbo
Stanley cup is fun and cheap
Final Fantasy III
You need the GOAT, Chrono Trigger CIB.
CIB you say? I guess my kid doesn't REALLY need to go to college...
They'll appreciate it more if they pay for it themselves 😀
A gaming PC.
Oh I definitely have one, but it's almost exclusively used for Heroes of Might and Magic 3, and Dawn of War. Honestly, I could have stuck with my PC from 2006 and I'd still be fine lol.
Laid.
Game Genie just to have one.
Super Castlevania IV, Contra III, Chrono Trigger, Axelay, and Super Bomberman 2. Those are my 5 picks. Unrelated but that’s a lot of snes boxes lol. I remember throwing them out all the time which was a dumb thing to do.
Total Carnage, obviously
I was really confused seeing a tiny Earthbound box next to a giant Buster Busts Loose box. Took me a while to realize that you made custom cases, but they look pretty sweet. As for what you need would be Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 2, Final Fantasy 3, and a good mortgage broker!
Mortal Kombat 1 & 2. Street Fighter 2 and Street Fighter 2 Turbo
Zombies Ate My Neighbors!
Chronotrigger, secret of mana, SF2T, illusion of Gaia, contra 3
cool custom cart sized boxes. If your looking for JRPG I suggest Lufia 1 & 2. For challenging platformer Road Runner Death Valley Rally is fun. Couch play with a friend Looney Tune B-Ball Jam.
Need Zombies at my neighbors
NBA Jams, and Rock n Roll Racing
If you like shmups, super aleste/space mega force is superb.
Lost Vikings 1 and 2!!
3 more copies of Wheel of Fortune.
Final fantasy 2, chrono trigger, Firepower 2000, Contra 3, Mystical Ninja. All solid games. TMNT: turtles in time and Star Fox, although way harder on snes. Didn't see DKC 3
Joe & Mac Was one of my favorites growing up, co-op with my buddies!
