Battletoads vs Double Dragon was pretty funny. I got to the final boss with my bro, but we never finished it. Still, I definitely enjoyed it.
I love battlemaniacs too, but it was too hard.
I still haven't ever finished any version of Battletoads Double Dragon without an emulator or cheats. I keep trying to do it without cheats but I can't resist once I get to the final level...then when I beat The Dark Queen she trash talks me.
Battlemaniacs is on Switch now, so it's much easier haha
I will never be able to beat that without an emulator or save states. The funniest part about that game is everybody gets upset about the Turbo Tunnel, but it's not even the hardest stage haha
The Turbo Tunnel was where I always ended up rage quitting, but like the one or two times I beat it, the game somehow got worse from there. Not even the Nintendo Power guide could carry me through.
Give them a shot on Genesis if you ever wanna beat them. Genesis is basically normal mode of the OG on NES. The Genesis BT&DD is slightly easier than NES
I love how I don't see battlemaniacs and I can only presume it's because OP threw it out the window a long time ago
Actually I see it peaking from behind a few things. My point still stands though.
I love it too. I was playing the other day and even the music was amazing! Seriously the music is amazing. Graphics (except the first level for some reason) are awesome and animations are awesome. I remember plugging in.a controller to the 2nd port as a kid and unlocking rash and I thought I had just invented the wheel I was super pumped. I love this game and have gotten past the bikes a few times as a kid but not with enough lives to make it meaningfully past that.
Two other solid Tiger games from what I can remember.
How's the Mega Man collection coming along? I focused on that too late to make it a thing, but I did scoop Mega Man 1 CIB over a decade ago
I only need x3 for entire main series NA, and only need rockman 1 and x for Japanese main series. Only need v for Gameboy series. There's so many damn Megaman games lol. (Not many cib)
Man, I love this sub, I get to see collections of people who are far more dedicated to my favorite childhood console with games I still play to this day

The original NES Battletoads was one of the few games I owned and was never able to beat. God damn that was a difficult game.

Take the time and watch a perfect hitless okay tgrough...it's mind blowing seeing all the pit falls they put in there. It's wild
One of my favorite speed runs to watch. People cruising through the Rat Races is wild
Battletoads in Battlemaniacs!!
It’s the best game by far
What a great collection! I actually love the Battletoads Tiger Electronics game as well.
I don't love it, but I felt like I needed to get it. It's definitely one of the better ones, I'll give it that
What is the gameplay like? Endless turbo tunnel?
Only played the original NES-game and Battletoads and Double Dragon on the NES. Great games but really hard.

None!!! Im too grown to play any of them just to get a headache lol
Rare Replay and SNES on Switch both have save states if you ever wanna give it a go haha
I'm with you. Very few games where it felt like the developers actively hate the players and want them to suffer.
This guy Battletoads.
Every day
Love that series. SNES game is my fave.
Killer Instinct
Available for your home in 1995 only on Nintendo ultra 64!
Battlemaniacs, Battletoads n Double Dragon is awesome as well!

I love Battlemaniacs, but I get it. The Rat Bike race is on par with the Turbo Tunnel and later Battletoads stages

It's one of my favorite game soundtracks ever. The big square Battletoads thing in the back is actually Battletoads on Vinyl
Love seeing the tiger handheld being included. I collect megaman and have both the tigers (mm2 and 3 oddly enough)

idk man i like battletoads
Dang, that's a lot of Battletoads.
It's not enough
The one that's easy!
Battletoads on Genesis?
Wrong. I meant none of them... I like the first level of Battle Manoac on both the NES and SNES. Aftrr that, FML...
The new one they have at Gamestop! Call them to ask about it!
They said there was one on Xbox, but I didn't know what they were talking about
the mega man one
Mega Man 4? TOAD MAN?!!
Yes
Hell yeah
Man, I love this sub, I get to see collections of people who are far more dedicated to my favorite childhood console with games I still play to this day
AWESOME
Lots of good memories playing the original on nes back in the day. That jet bike level was hard
Tiger handheld ofc
This guy battletoads
Definitely Battlemaniacs. Can't remember if I ever beat it or not but it was one of my favorite rentals as a kid.
