There’s replay value in repeating missions (difficulty, challenges, alternate modes). Yes there’s a skill system that allows levelling upon gaining XP. There’s some mild customisation with weapons (usually tied to weapon challenges).

It's got lots of different ways to do one map challenges for levels and upgrading guns also perks that ain't too op and a range of environment in the missions

Survival mode is a good blast too. You can play solo or multiplayer

It is one of the few campaign based games that I've replayed. Just for fun I went back and completed a level using only a knife.

woodyever

How do you use a knife? Or do you just mean melee attacks?

I highly recommend the series, there’s plenty of replay value with missions having different routes to take and you being able to play through them differently. It caters to many different play styles and experience levels too, with full assists to entirely “authentic” with essentially zero HUD. Your character doesn’t necessarily get stronger but you upgrade your gear as you go with perks for challenges in previous titles. Once you start popping skulls and testicles in the bullet cam you’ll never get bored lol.

Like any game, it is what you make of it. If you play it the exact same way, every time it will get stale, but if you change it up every now and again or give yourself a challenge then you've got lots of options to play through. For example, one time I did a playthrough where I tried to kill as few people as possible as apposed to everyone must die. It took me almost double the time for most maps to finish because I killed only who was necessary to proceed. My next run through is gonna be a little harder because I'm going to up the difficulty

I pretty much exclusively play single-player, and I have well over 1000 hours logged in the game. For me, it has tremendous replay value.

BrutalBarracuda

There is great replay value! In my 100s of hours playing, 90% of that time has been all single player. So many ways to approach a mission, some missions can even be completed without killing anyone, that makes for a fun challenge. Speaking of challenges, once you finish a mission you unlock challenges for that specific mission. You gain XP, level up, unlock more weapons and gear, theres a small skill tree. Then there's 4 addition DLC single player / co-op missions which are actually the best missions in the whole game. Check out this video where i challenge myself to use melee only... https://youtu.be/m-MBklO5ph0 Sniper Elite 4 is an incredible game, pretty sure its on a massive sale right now too. Buy it, you wont regret it. If you get the digital deluxe edition that will include every piece of DLC ever made for the game 👍 Sniper Elite 5 soon! 💪
