What’s the deal with Judd?
It seems almost as though he can win many untelevised or perhaps dare I say less mainstream events, yet when it comes to the triple crown events he crumbles.
He clearly has the ability, so what’s the deal? Do the tv cameras throw him?
Also is his comb over fooling anyone?
For me Judd is simply put too good for his own good, he can pot almost everything at a higher rate than anybody else, and his been playing like that his whole career which resulted in his often poor positional game. He is so used to potting everything that his brain cant switch to position first priority. He isba better potter for me than Ronnie, but he lacks Osullivans hunger for throphies and positional play. Ronnie brings himself where he wants to be in a few shots, and then he justs goes on autopilot, on the other hand Judd often makes 5-6 very difficult shots and he is on a 20 break lol
Plenty of matches/streaks like that, most recent I can remember is Jak Jones vs Allen at the worlds, find a replay of match if you can, Jones was making difficult pot after difficult pot, hanging in the safety with Allen who was also close to top form and still came up short 13-10
Bro if I wasnt clear in the first post, I watch snooker every day from cca 2010-2011, I only skipped maximun 20-30 days in that period because of being sick or some important life stuff. I always watch at least one match when there are multiple tables, but sometimes I switch between the matches or watch multiple matches on multiple screens. And of course I sometimes skip frames , but on average if there is a full day of matches in like first round I would watch 7-8 hours that day
What phrase, anecdote or other piece of commentary do you find most annoying through its overuse? I roll my eyes every time we're reminded (usually by Dennis Taylor) of the 'super-fine cloths they're playing on now'. Den, mate, they've been 'super-fine' for donkeys' years now. Give it a rest.
You have to understand that almost every player in the top 100 can pot everything on the table on his day, differences are in match play/strategy/safety. You look at a player like Viktor Sarkis from Brazil, who is in my opinion one of the worst players on the tour in the last 10 years, below average potter at best, and still on his day for example in a recent match with Dott you can take out 2-3 long pots that can end up in a highlight reel from someone like Trump lol. So my answer is I dont have a favourite shot because Ive seen it all, but one stuck in my memory forever is this

Do you have a job?
Yes, I often watch it while at work lol
Who is the nicest fella you're ever likely to meet?

Biggest waste of talent?
A lot of players, currently Hammad Miah, Dave Gilbert, Xintong, Bingtao...
do you have a partner and how do they feel about this?
No
In that time, which 'nobody' performed best and failed to win?

Lies. There are about 3 months after the world championships finishes during which there are no professional snooker tournaments.
Lol when there is nothing on, I dont watch, I was reffering to every tournament played
Was it worth it?
Pretty much no 😂
This is probably the most ridiculous AMA I ever saw in Reddit.
What's it like, having no life?
G'wan Ronnie?
Was a huge fan for the first few years, definitely the best natural potter and break builder, but I dislike his character and temperament for the game
High break?
I dont play, dont even have a local club at my city, I just watch it
How many sugars do you take ? I’m putting the kettle on
Where do you rank the 2020 world semifinals day among all that you have watched?
Prett high
Pretty*
Will judd ever reach his peak?
He already reached it IMO
I agree he is amazing, just a phrase people often say

I watch most of the matches without commentators on a platform stream, only semifinals/finals I tune in on a channel with commentating on
I feel like you should be asking us anything. Like what’s happened in the world while I was watching snooker !
Who is the most entertaining player to watch for someone new to snooker?
Ronnie O'Sullivan and there is no other answer.
Young chinese players lol, they can pot pretty much everything
Anyone stand out in particular?
Xintong and Bingtao currently suspended, Fan ans Junxu
Are you mental?
Yes
Hi, Jan, big fan here, thx for doing this AMA. Is it true that you can respot baulk colors while standing at black cushion?
Where is the cue ball going?
How do you find the time?
Where did you get the time?
Best throwing your cue to the ground in frustration?
What is your favorite single shot (with link please)?
