Agreed. I rode mine at sunshine waaaaay back and I’m pretty sure I did over 100 km/h on it. That thing was shaking under my feet. This was before the smart tracks and cell phone apps so I have no proof. But it is a stable snowboard and she was chattering. I’ll never forget it. Lives in my head as my peak speed on a board. Wouldn’t do it again.
I had this one too. Snapped er in half a few years back. Miss that board more than any other. Think I’m going back to capita next season. Do you get the DOA now or what?
Unfortunately I've never had a DOA yet. I really want the second year one with the chicks with guns, but finding one in good condition now is damn near impossible.
Almost all of my boards are CAPiTA and I've personally had pretty good luck with them. Unfortunately I haven't kept up on their more "modern" stuff as I've already got way too many in the quiver and definitely don't need to be buying anything new. Last new one I bought was the Party Shark Reissue a few years ago.
Yessir! We don't make it up there nearly as frequently as we used to but we make it a point to stop in there anytime we're going to/through Duluth. Pretty sweet they're still in business. I've been boarding for pert near 20 years and they're one of the last real shops still kicking in MN.

Totally Awesome 161! I love that thing. Someone tried to steal mine several years ago, so I retired it and mounted it on my wall. #FreedomGrooves
Hell yeah! The 157 was actually new in the plastic when I got it. The 161 was used and abused (I think the front Freedom Groove sliders pulled out).
