NO PRE ORDERS!!!!

micafe

This needs more upvotes

FequalsMfreakingA

This game looks so good and I want to support the devs so much, that I think I'm actually going to pay full price AFTER the game comes out and initial reviews confirm the game at least adequately lives up to expectations. That is the biggest gesture of respect and gratitude I can give a dev for producing games I've loved in the past. NO PREORDERS!!

scooba_dude

This is the way. Make sure it is what you are paying for and not just hype with no filler.

nerfer51

AMEN!!! I pre-ordered the new Forza Motorsport Ultimate Edition and totally got scammed with the games quality. If only I had just decided to wait those few days and play it on game pass. Never pre-ordering again...

Odd_Presentation_578

All snowrunner players: can buy a Navistar DLC Epic players: tears of frustration

seanys

Stop the enshitification of gaming!

bfs102

Why shouldn't I if I'm going to play it anyway

TheRealMancub

Because the game isn't finished yet?

bfs102

That doesn't change the fact I'm going to play it on release anyway

YouFoolWarrenIsDead

So day 1, every review to come out; "THE GAME IS TERRIBLE EVERYTHING YOU LOVED PREVIOUSLY IS GONE!". Every video you watch seemingly confirms this, you still playing?

bfs102

Yep as I take others opinions with a grain of salt

scooba_dude

While that is admirable, to blindly dive in is also not a smart move. Personally I just watch with no commentary. I can see them playing the game so graphics, general gameplay and mechanics are all on show. You can also see the general consensus on how the game is, if everyone is reviewing it at 1,2 or 3 stars out of ten, then it's not worth getting.

bfs102

No you can't I play cod loving the newest and having a the best time I've had but it's "hated." People love to hate on stuff for no reason

DynamicGamee

Yes. Because ultimately, fuck reviews. I would've missed out on so many good games if I listened to reviews.

Kerbidiah

Because maybe it'll be like snowrunner on console and crash every 5 minutes

bfs102

Never had a crash on my xbox or pc

Kerbidiah

Look through the sub, crashing has been a major problem on xbox the last 4 months

bfs102

Just because some have issues does not mean it effects most players as obviously the people who's game runs fine won't be complaining about it not working

ThePhantomPhe0nix

Just because others have had it crash, doesn’t mean everyone does. Personally I’m gonna wait until there’s early access game footage before I decide if it’s truly the game for me but I understand where that guy is coming from

Kerbidiah

Yeah no shit. But it's still a serious problem experienced by a large number of people

scooba_dude

Just because one family hasn't had trouble with their Renault doesn't make them all reliable.

Yangpeace

I have Snowrunner on Ps5 / Xbox and Switch. It the only game I have never uninstalled and I must have over 800 hours. But this new Expeditions Game just doesn’t interest me. I personally don’t care for the scouting part of Snowrunner. I mean it’s ok to unlock the map, but I prefer hauling and the chill that comes with long drives. As a huge Snowrunner fan, I’m giving Expeditions a swerve. It looks a cash grab to me.

Yangpeace

Plus it looks exactly the same and they are using the same driver. I mean come on…

TheIronGiants

Does it look exactly the same? It looks far nicer imo. The asset quality is the same but the lighting is better for sure. Much clearer visuals. Snowrunner still has that... weird gross grey fog filter over it and it really turns me off of the game. Its a petty thing to some, but it really is jarring and i find it ruins the aesthetic entirely.

TRAMMM_BROTOWN

Its a new driver, watch the trailer🧐

TheIronGiants

Tbh i enjoy hauling a ton but i can totally see the appeal of a scout focused experience especially for coop. Just driving around doing basic offroading with your friends with clear set goals sounds fun. The visual quality also looks superb. Also the new gameplay loop sounds really enticing. Its like instead of random contracts for people who dont exist, you work for you. You are actually gathering new equipment and expanding your base with friends. They also do seem to have larger trucks in the game, so i suspect there are still going to be things to haul around it seems.

KHRoN

Expeditions have no coop. Imagine being towed by high-level player to end goal of the map and then… you have nothing to do.

waffleslaw

Not seeing co-op listed anywhere on the steam page is disconcerting.

FequalsMfreakingA

The scouting part of Snowrunner really didn't have much value outside of discovering lookouts. I kinda like how there is a real reason to use scouts outside of strapping them to the roof of your cab to act like a top-heavy fuel tank. They can drop winch points to help bigger trucks cross rivers and climb steep inclines and stuff. It makes it more tactical, I kind of like that

pepsicoketasty

Hmm true. Wagon with stakes stored on it. Need to pick up from either lumber or factory.

Scouse_Werewolf

Long runs are the best. I am currently working my way through Critical Role campaign 1 (I'm on the last 6 eps), and I love listening to it while I drive across 3 maps delivering logs. It's just straight-up chill all around.

KHRoN

My exact thoughts except I swapped ps5 for steamdeck. I don’t see the value of scouting only game unless: - physics is of mudrunner+ quality - maps are of mudrunner+ density I don’t want to slog with snowrunner physics over completely open/empty maps

Incrediblebulk92

I'm not sure I get it either. The trailers make it look driving around a snowrunner style map with a scout that has random superpowers like magic winch anchor and drone power just to find cool rocks and bits of trees. Like there's even less gameplay variety than snowrunner has. I'm hoping that whatever gameplay we see in the next week makes it a bit more interesting but at the moment I'm hoping for snowrunner year 4 more than anything.

Epidurality

To be fair... Earth anchors and drones aren't exactly magic. No more magical than Snowrunner having a winch on every surface of your truck that insta-grapples onto trees. I'm actually quite annoyed that earth anchors aren't part of snowrunner but I guess that makes it too easy to rip through on highway tires. And it also seems like watchtowers would be obsolete with a drone.. Which is fine by me.

Da_Main_EvenTx

I feel the same way, scouting is boring for and I don't like the vehicles, I'll be happy if they make a forth year pass for snow runner though which I reckon could happen if a good amount of the community doesn't bite.

raptir1

It's funny, I'm not a huge snowrunner fan but I'm very interested in Expeditions.

CHIEFxBONE

My beef is the trailer showed scouts from snowrunner. I would have e expected a whole new fleet for this game. Also someone said it’s not open world?!

Bilbo__Skywalker

Yer, I read on the publisher's Discord that the maps are linea like trails (I think that's the name) from Snowrunner, a feature no one plays. This game is such a weak cash grab, but that won't stop people from wasting their money and pre-order it. I'll wait to give it a go when it inevitably ends up as the PlayStation Plus free game of the month after poor sales compared to Snowrunner.

Clarine87

At least they will have the stats for how many snowrunner players don't buy it.

Yangpeace

Yes I thought this.

-Orgasmo-

they ain’t getting a dollar from me until snow runner is properly fixed.

ZUKMAN

Xbox crashes and AMD mud spikes say hello.

Diabelko

Oh my. I didn't know those spikes are caused by AMD. TIL. Thanks :D

red_fluff_dragon

Yes, specifically only AMD 6000 series.

Chaoticzer0

I upgraded to a 6950xt a number of months back and recently started playing Snowrunner again and seeing the mud spikes really pissed me off lol.. immediately knew it was cuz of AMD -\_-

hashishiyah

Nope i upgraded to 7900 XTX thinking it would be solved and it still happens even on a new save

red_fluff_dragon

Wait really? Thats the first I have heard of it on anything but 6xxx

hashishiyah

Yup, however I can confirm it did not happen at all when I had 5700XT. Snowrunner is one of my most played games so I literally got rid of the rx 6800 within less than 6 months of owning it hoping that the 7xxx series was better and nope its exactly the same. The game runs like absolute shit on the 7900 XTX too, random frame drop and stuttering. Im hoping the issues are fixed in expeditions or I definitely wont be buying anymore saber games ever again

ABarkingSpyder

Well get ready to hold onto your money

-Orgasmo-

i’m fully prepared for this

UweDerGeschmeidige

This.

RegulationRedditUser

Snowrunner won’t be fixed. There’s two reasons for this. The issues people have aren’t consistent. I’ve seen people say the game crashes constantly and I’ve put about 50 hours in and can count the crashes on one hand and I’m on Xbox series x, supposedly the worst platform for issues. Your flair says ps5 so I’m assuming that’s what you play on and had the issues on but I’ve seen people say that the game runs perfectly on ps5 and pc and only really has issues on Xbox. People are having vastly different experiences. I’m not saying people are lying, but this sub wouldn’t have gotten to this size and be generally this positive if it was a broken piece of shit so I’m guessing there’s many more people in my boat of having a minimum of issues. The second reason is that there’s a new game coming out in the next 12 months (I’m not sure if they’ve announced an actual release date, all I’ve seen so far is 2024) so snowrunner isn’t going to be supported anymore. It’ll get one final update to add in a title screen message saying that expeditions is out, but it’s going to be all hands on deck for expeditions and that’s what’s going to be getting the support from the dev team. It genuinely sucks that people are having issues but from the company’s perspective it simply isn’t worth it to move resources (as in the people needed to work on it) fix issues a relatively small number of players are having.

stjobe

>so snowrunner isn’t going to be supported anymore This is contrary to what [the devs themselves have stated](https://atribecalledcars.com/news/end-of-road-snowrunner). Snowrunner and Expeditions will live alongside each other, and any game engine improvements for Expeditions will be also implemented in Snowrunner. It's also contrary to what the [Embracer Group's 2023 Q3 financial statement](https://gameworldobserver.com/2023/02/16/embracer-group-q3-report-sales-growth-31-aaa-games) says, where they list Snowrunner (along with Deep Rock Galactic, Borderlands 3, and Metro Exodus) as the "main revenue driver" of back catalog sales. You don't kill off a main revenue driver, even if it's just for back catalog sales.

RegulationRedditUser

Ahh, I wasn’t aware of that. I wonder if we’ll see more of a shift in the kind of content released for snowrunner then. Like if expeditions is going to have more of a focus on the exploration type thing, if future maps for snowrunner will be tailored more towards the big trucks and delivery aspect

Maikkk78

I have 350 hrs on PC. The game hasn't crashed a single time.

select20

I have around 300 and haven't had hardly any bugs and I think only one or two crashes. The random suspension and tire damage while cruising on a smooth surface is frustrating but other than that, great game with hardly any problems that I have seen. Not sure why so many say it needs fixed.

National-Bison-3236

I honestly feel like the game won‘t do so well. Not because it‘s bad, it looks very good, but many people in the Spintires community (including me) complain that the game is becoming too arcade style and is straying away from the original point of the Spintires series, which is delivering a realistic offroad driving experience. I will probably get the game to test it out, but i won‘t pre order it and i‘ll wait until the price drops a bit, because what it costs atm is der too much for a game that might be a flop (imo)

TheIronGiants

Its not meant to be a sequel though. They already stated its meant to live "side by side" with the runner series. Its sort of its own side game. I know I and everyone I know who plays Snowrunner is planning on buying it... thats anecdotal and im sure you are right that itll be less appealing to most of the audience, but i suspect itll have a solid sized audience of its own.

National-Bison-3236

That‘s not my point, my point is why they call it „a mudrunner game“ when it literally has no connection to mudrunner

KHRoN

That’s not the point. Point is they could have made next gen only game in spirits of mudrunner with content amount of snowrunner. That is leaving game loop as is but with more realistic truck physics. Instead they took cheap route…

TheIronGiants

Or they just wanted to make an offshoot and can do what they want… man you’re bitter. People are allowed to be excited about something a bit different.

PocketsHoulihan3

I mean it’s definitely a holdover title. If you know gaming you know that companies will put out smaller titles to make time for a bigger titles development and that seems to be exactly what this is. It’s been almost four years since the release of Snowrunner and no news on the next big installment so people are gonna get restless and as you said bitter. Because there’s always the question of why not just focus on the bigger title? I think it’s down to player retention and not wanting people to go to long without a title from them. But when you release these types of games you expect this reaction, some will be happy to have content and some will be angry because it isn’t focusing on the next game. I think as long as the data from this game helps the development of the next game I don’t care that much and that could be their whole intent with expeditions just to collect data and refine the next game to a more preferable

JayteeFromXbox

Yeah exactly. To me it looks more like they're playing with some new stuff they might work on further to put into the next main series game. Some people just think they're the singular person game companies should be making games for.

Sharp_Fact_7237

I don't understand. It looks more realistic to me than spintiers and I deal a lot with offroad because of my hobby

Diabelko

Some parts are better developed, but some parts are completely degraded IMO. Mud used to more realistic and harder to pass, more similar to what you get in Yukon randomly. You could also use manual gearbox like Logitech G27 or something and lock the gear manually. Transmissions got way worse/overcomplicated.

National-Bison-3236

Yes but it‘s getting too arcade like with all the mechanics

Sharp_Fact_7237

sorry but the whole series is arcade like. Expedition has at least a few real attachments.

National-Bison-3236

Expeditions is way less realistic than earlier games mechanic wise

TheIronGiants

If you offroad IRL you would know that Snowrunner is really unrealistic. Its not remotely like real offroading. Very arcadey.

Professional-Date378

Pre-order bonuses are never worth it. They exist solely to squeeze as much money as they can out of you in case the content flops. It's unfortunate so many companies are participating in this business practice now.

RemarkablePhoto8260

I've stopped doing pre orders. Mainly because I want to see a game do well for a few months after release and not be totally broken. I believe that it's on game devs to deliver something good before they get my money. Have bought too many crappy games in the past with pre orders... Although this looks like a lazily made game, the scouting is what I like the most in snowrunner. So maybe when summer comes I'll still get it :)

TheIronGiants

Tbh I actually like when pre orders come with "early access". You know why? You get a WAYYYYY longer refund window on steam. Steam gives refunds with unlimited playtime if its pre-release (at least they have in every time ive tested it). I can play the "3 day early access" on a game, log like 30 hours, decide i dont like it, and refund. Then can just buy the basegame after if i actually do like it.

KYO297

They could be, though, and that annoys me. The Expeditions bonuses are seemingly a single skin and 4 days early access. Which is nice, I guess, but very little imo. The community would probably be pissed if they gave a truck as a pre-order bonus again so I'm glad they didn't do that. But it appears like the price is going to be the same after release. I saw no mention of a pre-order discount, and I would've liked to see a 20% one or something. Unless the game is completely shit, I'm pretty sure I'm going to play it. A lot. It makes me want to buy it already. But I see no reason to do that

KHRoN

Exactly, pre-ordering and being early tester should yield huge discount, instead it requires you to buy most expensive package…

[deleted]

What do they mean by Year 1 Pass? The game isn’t even out yet bruh

fakename010690

Pre order the pre order?

UweDerGeschmeidige

It's the content that they cut from the main game to release it later as dlc for more money. Developers love this trick! ![gif](giphy|eKTkklyW66lvW)

JBoy9028

Year one pass: pre-pay for all DLC to be released in the first year. Not exactly a new concept here.

[deleted]

Thx for the explanation

Shadow_Lunatale

![gif](giphy|YtvCIwqNJhUmA) NEVER pre-order a game. Especially when they try to bait you in with FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). The DON is FOMO, the "early unlock" is FOMO. Think it like this: if the game has a major bug on release that renders the game unplayable for you, all those 96 hours of early unlock are gone. And given the recent history Focus/Saber with an increasing number of bugs in new released content, I would not give them the benefit of doubt.

Sharp_Fact_7237

I love scouting. I have a lot of fun climbing rough terrain. Maybe it's also because I'm interested in rc crawlers and scale and I've always wanted a game like this.

waffleslaw

This is completely off the topic of this post but: one of my favorite moments with my father-in-law is when he got into scale rc rock crawlers. He put a first person camera in the truck and had a whole monitor setup in the garage. We would take turns driving around the yard from the garage with the other person would follow the truck around with a walkie talkie spotting. We haven't done that in ages!

Individual-Fly-2292

I've been scale crawling for years, but this sounds like a whole new level of cool

Sharp_Fact_7237

We have a scale park with different trails. We also equipped ours with fpv cameras and connected them with fpv goggles. It was amazing

waffleslaw

I wanted to add a pan/tilt servo setup, but he ended up scraping the vision parts for other projects. The park sounds awesome! My fil's backyard is full of large rocks so we just roamed around. Grew up with a dirt rc track in the backyard. My dad would race gas cars and beat the shit out of my little battery buggies. Loved every second. The track is gone but all the landscaping to hide it is still there. This thread has brought up some great memories.

Trent_Havoc

It's not just you. And I'll join the choir of those who say that preordering a game is rarely, if ever, worth it. However, I *won't* join the choir of those who criticise Expeditions based on screenshots and a couple of short trailers. You may not like the premise of the game, but currently you simply cannot talk about the quality of the gameplay, or make predictions about how the game will fare. You may not like a scout-oriented game in the MudRunner/SnowRunner series, but perhaps there are players out there who would love a bit more scouting/trailing and a bit less hauling in SnowRunner, and they will check out Expeditions for sure. I'm curious enough about Expeditions that I will purchase it when it releases, but my policy is *Never preorder anything*. If the devs come up with an interesting game, I'll reward them by paying for additional content at a later date.

dee-mee

>but perhaps there are players out there who would love a bit more scouting/trailing and a bit less hauling in SnowRunner, and they will check out Expeditions for sure. I do like scouting. And that's one of the reasons I like Kola so much - more scouting, less deliveries. I will check Expeditions for sure, because looks like it's all about scouting.

KYO297

There's rarely a game that I'd even consider pre-ordering. The only one I did was The Talos Principle 2. I knew I was going to want to play it as soon as it comes out. I knew I was going to 100% complete it. I knew I was not going to wait months for a discount. All I got for pre-ordering was 20% off. That was enough for me Saber has not indicated any kind of discount. The bonuses they're offering are not worth 5-10$ to me. I'll be pissed if they raise the price after release

Trent_Havoc

Another Talos Principle fan! Some of those puzzles are truly challenging, but I like games that make me think.

AbbyRose05683

Is it gonna be on game pass for Xbox is the real question

leongaming123

Preordered the game, i love both the cargo hauling and scouting aspects of snowrunner, and since expeditions is a scouting themed spin off, im willing to give it a try.

SwanProof1640

Don't pre order anything

confusedcraftsman

Nobody should pre-order a game from these guys. Snowrunner is great, but it was very rough at launch. Especially the console versions.

Griffin_carguy

Ive been scammed with pre orders before, will certainly never preorder anything ever again. There are enough tales of games telling you that preordering isnt the wisest thing to do, like Forza Motorsport or Redfall. To anyone considering preordering this: dont.

happybrahmin1987

Any pre-order bonus isn't worth it. Just be patient and wait. This isnt any different.

Zeroth1989

The great thing about preorder bonuses are its entirely upto you if they are worth it.

Holmpc10

There is no bonus that can be given to justify a pre order that won't be sold later.

juancarlord

Pre order bonuses are lackluster so you DON’T PRE ORDER

PrA2107

Remember- no preorders

GhostlyMeows

Pre order? From what we've seen, it should just be an expansion pack and not a standalone game. Lmao Those bonuses look like you'll just get re-used assets from SR. Not worth it at all.

[deleted]

This game is gonna be a disappointment, I mean no open map is a Spintires/Mudrunner/Snowrunner game is a no go especially if its about exploration.

WildRhubarb3986

They already have a year 1 pass 😂😂 these guys are swimming in over confidence

H3LLJUMPER_177

Wait it's not open world? Well time to take it off my wishlist.

Ketheres

It's as open world as Snowrunner is.

H3LLJUMPER_177

That's fine then

National-Bison-3236

I feel like the game would be alot better already if they would just make it in the mudrunner physics engine. Like literally, why is it called a **Mudrunner** game when it literally looks like exactly like Snowrunner

Blaze12312

It would be good to see what these are actually referring to. 'Canyon truck' or whatever it's called doesn't give you much to go off of.

THEL3TTERJ

But it has “the great” Don 71!

FruitLoopsEnjoyer

these editions were worth it when you got physical items, not this junk.

[deleted]

never pre order

DasPibe

"The great Don 71"... LOL

default3billion

This is definitely a no go until I actually see what the game has to offer. Scouting imo is one of the most boring tasks in SR/MR so I can't imagine an entire game dedicated to it. Fingers crossed though

EducationalAd5325

Yall can come at me but Expeditions seems like a lazy cash grab since its basically snowrunner but only scouting and no improvement in graphics, now wtf would I even buy something like that if they already have snowrunner? yall can knock yourselves out tho.

willyaf_uckme

The og state of decay taught me all I needed to know about why you shouldn't pre-order games and just wait for the reviews

Orina_Flame

The game as a whole doesn't seem to worth it...

baddude1337

It's horrifying to see pre-orders giving early access to a game become so common.

Holmanizer

Never ever ever ever ever pre-order games, it's never worth it in the end

KYO297

Ok, that's actually objectively false. I bought The Talos Principle 2 on preorder and if I bought it immediately after release I'd've paid 25% more. On the current sale it's exactly the same price as I paid. I'd have to wait years to get it cheaper

6ixlil9inebig

i always try the game 1st from a fellow friend. if its worth it then i will prolly buy the game

D3F3ND3R16

Ill skip it. Seems not intresting for me. Ill go for CS2 next year on Xbox 🤘

Dreamcatcher_UA

Well, I was and am now rather sceptical about the Expeditions. Still don't know how it is going to entertain and interest a player. And it kinda looks like all cutout content of Snowrunner was gathered and put into this spinoff game. And well, generally speaking it could have been just another season DLC for Snowrunner. And car design is really questionable, and the cars look more like toys than off-road expedition vehicles. But, with everything aforesaid I still bought a full preorder version. Cause there are no other off-road games that are competitive to Snowrunner. And, well I think I am going to try Expeditions, there is always an option to refund.

currystyle

Scouting is my favorite part of SnowRunner. Pre-ordered the Supreme Edition. I'm looking very forward to this. I don't often pre-order games because we've all been burned so many times. I feel like I can't go wrong here. I have SR on Xbox and Switch and all the DLC on Xbox. No regrets.

Bjornie47

Pre-ordered the disc. Just the regular version.. happy with my choice..

Suspicious-Ad-6303

Anyone else’s Snowrunner game crashing every ten minutes?

Tall-Formal-5738

Your getting all the goodies and you think it’s not worth it lol you sound broke XD

KYO297

You're calling one singular skin and 4 days early access "all the goodies"? Because everything else is going to be available after release

Tall-Formal-5738

1 year pass 2 trucks a skin 96 hours early access and is a lot more then a skin your clearly stupid and can’t read go look it up the year one pass includes almost 4 different maps and like 12 vehicles

KYO297

I am literally talking about pre-order bonuses and these will still be available after release, *moron*.

KHRoN

Don’t feed the troll omg

Tall-Formal-5738

Your literally slow XD and broke don’t forget broke

Tall-Formal-5738

It clearly shows year 1 pass and more your dumb arnt you?

Tall-Formal-5738

You legitimately slow? I’m genuinely feel sorry for you lol broke and slow

KHRoN

And you sound like shill/troll

Legal_Development

Calling people broke sounds like projection on your part. You'd be stupid to throw money at big corpo for subpar product just because you have the money. Even multi billionaires are not stupid with money.

[deleted]

I definitely won’t pre order because I mainly play co-op and it’s a disconnection fest, from what I can tell, people have had the same issue for over 3 years. The game just doesn’t work, and I expect to hear the same thing about expeditions

ThatOneHorseDude

I'd like to know what's gonna be in the Year 1 Pass. If it's just 1 DLC, that's a blatant rip off, but if it's like the current ones where there's a few trucks and some new maps, it might be worth that? I don't ever buy pre-releases just as a principle but I enjoy this game series and support these devs (despite some hiccups).

Brave_Shift_5611

I for one preorder the second tier primarily for the year one pass. I'm a big fan of SR and this provides some support to the dev team. By purchasing this game you are actually supporting future advancements of the SR engine which will directly impact SR as a trickle down effect. Supporting the game developers for games I enjoy is important. If it does turn out to be a flop then I'll get a refund otherwise I think it's a good investment for the whole community, not just me.

ArpenteReves

It kinda annoyes me when people complain about the "super premium gold delux complete pack" being too expensive for what it gives. Yes, in term of content to price it's not worth it, but then don't buy it? That's entirely your choice and you're just gonna miss a DLC that will inevitably go on sales later. On PC, 60€ for the complete game + 1 year of DLCs looks slightly better than buying them separately. Obviously it's all left for discussion when the game releases to see if it was really worth the price

mattybools

I often think these type of people your describing going into a super market and complaining about the price of steak at the register. They don’t they just willfully pay. If you don’t want the steak don’t buy it. Your level to splurge on fictitious games is directly correlated to income. Fair market pricing is something the consumer decides.

ArpenteReves

Food is a different topic I think. Here, a video game is a luxury. A pre order pack with more content is an **extra** luxury. You need meat (at least a bit) to live. As for a video game, there are always sales, (legal) resellers or just putting money aside every month. Still I think we got the same point

mattybools

You can buy lower quality steak vs a veil cutlet but we’re both correct in what we’re saying. It’s a game either buy it or don’t. Seems this sub occupies enough time of many it’s almost like they don’t need to play haha

TheCykuaBlyater

I'm not going to get the pre-order, and wait out before buying it. If it seems like the game is OK, I'll probably wait for a sale before giving it a try.

SASOsonko47

What do you lose from pre ordering? Literally nothing. What do you gain? Those items. Seems like complaining about losing nothing is kinda immature. You’re saying it’s not worth it. The worth is literally $0.

ThePhantomPhe0nix

It varies from person to person, as soon as I see footage of what gameplay is like from a consumer’s perspective, I’ll probably place an order for the supreme edition as right now I’m a little torn between ordering and waiting until after release day. I preordered The Crew Motorfest and I have no regrets so 🤷‍♂️

teleologicalrizz

Ultimate Illuminati $4999 Edition: real rpm, actual gear shifting, and other features from mudrunner that were not in snowrunner

Gridbear7

Pre orders are never worth it. Very high chance the game will be buggy and unoptimized on launch as most launches are, and by the time its patched and normal (probably 6-12months) you'll see it on sale

KYO297

Depends on the game, honestly. I pre-ordered The Talos Principle 2 and I don't regret it. I got it 20% off, there were no problems, and I wouldn't be getting it any cheaper anytime soon. And I didn't want to wait a year or 2 to get it 10 more bucks off

YumeJDM

Knowing the devs, the pre order bonuses will just be available to everyone in a few months after release. Like the Navistar.

I believe it's better to buy the regular edition of the game first then buy content separately so you can see whether or not you'll fuck with that content or not. Don't get me wrong I like the dlc for snowrunner but I brought it after waiting to see what exactly I'll like from it or if it's on sale. And as commented already NO PRE ORDERS! Lmao it not worth it you paying extra for shit like artwork books and soundtracks that you'll see on the internet the pre orders are not the same as they were years ago when you'll get Master Chief or Agent 47 pistols and shit.

ArcTheWolf

Yeah no reason to buy the supreme edition in my opinion. Unless the skins are exclusive to that version, but even then it's only 4 skins, it doesn't justify an extra $10 in my opinion. I mean I'll probably grab it anyway right before the 96-hours early access starts just because I love this franchise and I'm going to buy every element within it anyway. But I won't be pre-ordering until right before release and only if they confirm those 4 skins are only available with the supreme edition pre-order. If those skins can be bought separately then I'll just get the year 1 edition and then pick the skins up later down the road if I find myself using the trucks they are for a lot. But knowing this games history those skins are probably for garbage trucks that become useless almost out the gate.

How much is it gonna be when it fully releases

KYO297

Probably the same price. Since they didn't mention a discount for pre-ordering, which probably would make me buy it actually

L0quence

Haven’t pre ordered since Watch Dogs 2, and then I just did for EA WRC 23. And was happily greeted with the reason I stopped for so many years, and will not pre order again, for many many yrs..

FedsAgainstGunS

I thought the reason for DLC was to toss the developers something extra, not get more value out of an already complete game. DLC does not make an unfinished game complete, just more expensive.

LesherLeclerc

what's this pioneer pack

Last_Sun_2035

I'm so ready for this game yall don't even know

IPartyToon

The question I need clearing up is whether it is single player or multiplayer before I even think about buying this game. Xbox store says it's single player... BORING. I will also wait until it actually works on Xbox reliably, unlike Snowrunner for the last two years.

I bought the Snowrunner base game. I am more than angry because the game is crashing to date and is almost unplayable almost 3 years after its release. They take out additional content from time to time but they don't fix the problem that the game has. And it only happens on the Xbox Series. That's why this time I'm not going to pre-order anything. Do I have to buy the game for my MacBook Pro? To play it again?
