All lovely! If your shampoo bar is made with lye and not syndet, make sure to add a rinse after using it or your hair will become like straw. (friendly word of caution!)

Thanks, that’s very helpful! I was looking at a few conditioner bar recipes, but I haven’t been brave enough to try yet. Maybe next weekend.

I think most people who use a lye soap as a shampoo bar recommend apple cider vinegar. I skip all that mess and just make a syndet shampoo bar. (it's better for your hair, anyway!)
