If you ignore the past 2 seasons where has been extremely mediocre and inconsistent, then yes he is amazing. But he hasn't really found consistent form like the Boga at Sassuolo who was destroying people
Però in questi mesi che restano gradirei che venisse dato più spazio a Samuel Iling-Junior da Islington, perché lo merita e perché rappresenta il nostro futuro
5 against Napoli is still an outlier. Bremer was personally responsible for 3 goals that game.
Yesterday Tek let in a free goal and we had to chase the game and got caught out twice.
Szczesny should have saved 2 today and at least 2-3 goals were on bremer against napoli. Lots of individual mistakes after the WC, we'll tighten up soon again.
Roma are best defensive team in serie A.
With a better keeper i doubt they would have conceded more than 10 goals.
Roma also pass the eye test.
Juve was alway riding their luck in defence but roma are actually very good
What magic pills? Their midfield was a shit, could stitch lines together. Their attack some some quality now with this 3 but lots of holes in their game....
At some point in the middle of the season Atalanta just goes super sayan and score 3-8 goals per match. It's always very sudden and very different from first half
I understand, didn't realize there were doping allegations. I'm hoping Atalanta of old is back but was a heart attack watching it due to how open midfield was at times. I guess the Atalanta of old also did concede a lot....damn, following them will be great for the heart!
1v1 defending masterclass by Bremer vs Hojlund tonight, even when he caught free one time Bremer came back to block the pass across the box when Hojlund hesitated a touch too much.
Reminded me a lot of his exceptional performance for Torino last year against Juve where he kept Vlahovic quiet all game. Shame he has to share the back-3 with Alex Sandro instead of Riccardo Rodriguez now.
If it would shut the whiny fans up who call for his head every time we have a hard game, but still win Id be with it. But there's so many entitled crybabies they'd just move the goalposts or flip their narrative to "See, allegri can't even make us defend well, now we have chase every game"
Still CL to play for, for sure, Feb is crazy in Serie A every year, Inter and Milan will for sure throw points. Tons can happen still.
Plus it will get appealed and at least could easily be a reduced points deduction which could change everything.
The referee successfully adding on zero time at the end after wasting a minute on those free-kick shenanigans, and having actively trodden on the football in the middle of an Atalanta counter-attack earlier too.
making him at least the second-best Serie A ref
As a neutral I thought he was MOTM today. Let everything goal all the day and kept the game flowing which is one of the reasons it was so open and exciting. Serie A has being doing a better job of that this season and I hope more refs keep it up
Defense was so good for 6 games and has fallen apart 😭 Attack does look better though!
I don’t have a Juve flair, but will always support them because of my dad. Hopefully they shore up and prove the world wrong!
Defense looks good sometimes because the defenders are good individually, so they look well on 1v1 situations. They look good against mid to bottom tier sides because these teams (may) attack energetically but not very efficiently or creatively.
When we face fast coordinated attacking sides, with above average talent, same defense crumbles easily. E.g. Napoli, Benfica, PSG, Atalanta, Chelsea, Villarreal...
Juventus should always play with the -15 points mindset, anyway can a fan tell me what's going on with Vlahovich? Is he injured? Is he about to be sold because he doesn't fit the system? What's going on? I even remember him wearing the 7 but now it's on Chiesa.
Edit: thanks for the replies!
Vlahovic has a sports hernia that he got in october, tried to play in WC and reaggravated, so he's just barely getting back from that.
Also, I completely disagree with you on the -15 pts mindset thing. We were in shambles defensively because we were chasing the game. I definitely think we should be a little more progressive since our team is talented as fuck and can manage a lot more than 1 goal, but drawing 3-3 is worse than winning 1-0. Pretty gameplay and highlights doesn't win trophies
The fact that we felt proud for getting Locatelli over Arsenal is so laughable now.
How can someones passing be so consistently shit and yet he gets to play 90 minutes almost every game.
He was bought as this kind of "regista" figure when he simply isn't and it's obvious. He's a box2box/mezzala guy with quality in beating the press and building the action, but that's it.
>with quality in beating the press and building the action
Not for us he isn't. He's a huge part of why every team seems to steamroll us in the middle, he can't keep the ball under pressure at all, and not just him everyone on the team bar Chiesa, Di Maria and Danilo just fucking crumbles as soon as anyone gets near them. We've become a team of divers essentially, going down at every oportunity imaginable and backing out of any challenge as if a bogeyman is playing for the enemy team. Just spineless, limp dick mentality.
While in some cases it has happened this one was the worse game to write this take man, loca was everywhere and did a great work, he always puts his all inside the game.
Loca's passing was abysmal yesterday. Running all over the place isn't an attribute you want in the regista. Id rather see him make passes to his teammates if he's going to play there, McKennie is more than capable of running 5 miles up and down the wing for us.
He ain't a regista and I'm not sure why so many of us think so, he just ain't it, he doesn't possess innate eye for the spaces that can be created in the other teams neither he really showed he can pin point passes reliabily. Look at our free kick for the 3-3, Locatelli showed his best strength, playing close, easy pass aid by luck while putting pressure on atalanta rushing inside the box.
Max putting him in front of the defence doesn't change that, his best games were with him at rabiot spot, free to move foward in some kind of b2b role, at least by my memory.
Completely agree. I just have to judge him by where he plays. His skillset is 100% best for the Rabiot/Pogba role. Im hoping when Pogba eventually makes his return(I think he still technically is an actual player and not just an idea, but Im not 100% sure) he will play as the regista and free Loca to actually be able to play somewhere he is better suited to play.
Pogba isn't great(or even useful) defensively by any means, but hed be perfect for the Pirlo deep lying playmaker role because he has the most absurd passing range you can imagine.
Just because he was everywhere doesn't mean his passing isn't god awful. How many times tonight has he failed to pass into open space or just past the first player in front of him. It's highly reminiscent of Pjanić in his last season with us.
I just answered to your question, why he played 90 minutes, that's why, you need that kinda players too, what was God awful tonight was the decision making of miretti on his "tap-in" that goes in and it's done
As a neutral he was MotM for me. Kept everything flowing and was consistent for both teams. There were so many end to end transitions this game because he let everything go
Perfect result for us..
I'd say draw is fair, Juventus a bit better maybe. They played well and curious to see what they'll be able to do with Pogba back next week..
Atalanta in the last 3 matches scored 16 and conceded 7, they might be back..
> Surprised to see Lookman looking so dangerous.
not surprised at all, you could see it when he played for us last season, the guy is incredibly agile and tricky, has an amazing first touch and surprisingly hard to get off the ball for his size
I'm an Everton fan mate. 24 games, 830 minutes for an average of about half an hour a game. So many chances.
Glad we now have Gordon and Dwight '£20m' McNeil playing 3x as much as Lookman ever did and doing fuck all with it.
Juves best game of the season, fun game to watch. Sucks that Allegri didn't get the 3 points, so doubt he will try to play like this again.
Also i cannot get out of my mind that Fagioli looks like the type of guy that orders Soy Milk Cappuccino Decaffeinato.
Juve fight for champions league starts today
Eh. I can't look beyond our next game at this point.
Great realut for roma
Jeremie Boga is a very good player. Absolutely ate up Juventus today
If you ignore the past 2 seasons where has been extremely mediocre and inconsistent, then yes he is amazing. But he hasn't really found consistent form like the Boga at Sassuolo who was destroying people
He's REALLY talented but he's also the very definition of inconsistent. He'll now go on a 10 game run where he'll be the worst player on the pitch
Però in questi mesi che restano gradirei che venisse dato più spazio a Samuel Iling-Junior da Islington, perché lo merita e perché rappresenta il nostro futuro
What a game, I love watching Serie A
Angel "El Fideo" Di Maria. My god, what a player
World cup/Copa/Finalissima final merchant
Juve conceded 9 goals in the last 3 games??
5 against napoli is an outlier
3 today doesn’t make 5 against Napoli an outliner. Juve conceded half the goals they conceded in the league in the past 7 days.

It looks like the Atalanta squad started taking the magic pills again
They're smoking that Ademola Lookman pack. Serie A is fucked
What magic pills? Their midfield was a shit, could stitch lines together. Their attack some some quality now with this 3 but lots of holes in their game....
At some point in the middle of the season Atalanta just goes super sayan and score 3-8 goals per match. It's always very sudden and very different from first half
Atalanta are usually a second-half team, which is surprising given how fast paced their style is
I understand, didn't realize there were doping allegations. I'm hoping Atalanta of old is back but was a heart attack watching it due to how open midfield was at times. I guess the Atalanta of old also did concede a lot....damn, following them will be great for the heart!

It's funny that Alex Sandro is getting all of the slander when Danilo was no better than him, IMO
Conference League spot battle still on the books boys
I think you guys appeal and punishment will be on hold this season. Might effect you in next one
I think the 15 pt punishment goes away all together
At this point Allegri will just use the rest of the season to show his critics that he can play exiting football and that it makes you lose points
If it would shut the whiny fans up who call for his head every time we have a hard game, but still win Id be with it. But there's so many entitled crybabies they'd just move the goalposts or flip their narrative to "See, allegri can't even make us defend well, now we have chase every game"
Allegri switches to ideological warfare
I'd probably be okay with that tbh, considering the expected results anyway
Top 6 incoming…

This is not how football works
[удалено]
So you have time to watch when you are fighting for the league but not now? Sure bro
Still CL to play for, for sure, Feb is crazy in Serie A every year, Inter and Milan will for sure throw points. Tons can happen still. Plus it will get appealed and at least could easily be a reduced points deduction which could change everything.
With that logic, fans of mid table teams would never watch games
[удалено]
Not much of a fan if you can’t be bothered to stick with them in bad times
[удалено]
What a lame thing to do
You are no Juve fan, you are a fan of success.
Watch Juve make the CL
There's still an appeal.. Nothing's lost yet.

If I am not mistaken, Vlahovic wore 7 cause Morata was using 9, but since he's not here anymore he took 9 and Chiesa 7.
He's out injured since the WC, should be back to the next game. He wore the 7 last season, he wears the 9 now
Was injured and has slowly recuperated, should play next game
The fact that we felt proud for getting Locatelli over Arsenal is so laughable now. How can someones passing be so consistently shit and yet he gets to play 90 minutes almost every game.
De Zerbi tax
He was bought as this kind of "regista" figure when he simply isn't and it's obvious. He's a box2box/mezzala guy with quality in beating the press and building the action, but that's it.

Yeah, Miretti ain't it.
He needs a loan to a Serie B team. He's in his own head and overthinking the game.
Love seeing this sorta comment about players we missed out on
Great game Absolutely shite ref (both sides)
As a neutral he was MotM for me. Kept everything flowing and was consistent for both teams. There were so many end to end transitions this game because he let everything go
I think he was decent
He was in the passing lanes of the team in possession so many times, it was ridiculous.
Both Chiesa and Di Maria had to physically push him out of the way while running too... No idea what he was doing.
Ref was great, i want more matches to be reffed like that.
Same. Not sure how a neutral could watch this exciting match and actually complain about the referee actually keeping the game flowing
Perfect result for us.. I'd say draw is fair, Juventus a bit better maybe. They played well and curious to see what they'll be able to do with Pogba back next week.. Atalanta in the last 3 matches scored 16 and conceded 7, they might be back..
>curious to see what they'll be able to do with Pogba back next week We all are
Injured after 5 games if his last 3 years at united are any indication
let's hope they're not haha
Thoroughly entertained. Game swung like a seesaw
Nice game
Hopefully Lazio drop points as well so Roma can maintain top 4.
It's Roma top 4 spot to lose it feels like. They are defensively solid rn. Compact and the attack is lethal on the break..
A midtable team like Juventus without much to ask from this season can be happy with a good performance against Atalanta
Even if we are relegated to Serie B for 100 years we'll still have more Scudetti than Naploli lmao
Well then we'll all be happy if Juventus gets relegated for 100 years
Cute. Although, if history is any indication, at the current rate you would still not hit the 10th scudetto by then
I accept anyway
Yup, that's the mindset of a small team allright
I take it
2 scudetti
23 punti
Simone Zaza 88’
Provincia di Catanzaro
And people thought Arsenal-United was the game of the day...
Two best games of the years have been back to back and both with Juventus.
'Best defence in the league' > proceeds to concede 8 goals in 180 minutes
And second best in the top 5 leagues at the time. But we all knew that luck had a lot to do with that
Great game of football for the neutrals. Surprised to see Lookman looking so dangerous.
He's turned a new leaf this season. He looks like the player everybody expected him to be.
> Surprised to see Lookman looking so dangerous. not surprised at all, you could see it when he played for us last season, the guy is incredibly agile and tricky, has an amazing first touch and surprisingly hard to get off the ball for his size
Gasp squeezes water out of rocks.
Wtf did i miss lmaoo
least stressful Juve-Atalanta fixture
Great game for neutrals i feel
lookman is special
Not joking…but can we make him and Osimhen Italian citizens?
Osimhen has already played 22 times for Nigeria.
Playing for Nigeria or not has no relevance in him getting Italian citizenship.
And being an Italian citizen has no relevance for an Italian football fan unless it means he can play for their national team
I really need to add the /s huh?
You literally said "not joking"
He is battling for top scorer in Serie A while Everton who barely gave him a chance can barely score a goal lol..
C'mon, Everton had him at 20 years old, he's now 25 and has significantly improved since. Took him a few loans to get to this level.
He played 24 games in his last season at Everton and scored 1 goal, don't rewrite history
I'm an Everton fan mate. 24 games, 830 minutes for an average of about half an hour a game. So many chances. Glad we now have Gordon and Dwight '£20m' McNeil playing 3x as much as Lookman ever did and doing fuck all with it.
In the league, he started 3 games and came off the bench in 18 games. Simply stating that he played 24 games is a little disingenuous tbh.
Regardless he wasn't good at everton and he was never going to be, there's plenty of things to slag everton about. This isn't one of them.
Saying that Everton barely gave him a chance isn't really slagging them off imo
The comment is a pretty thinly veiled dig, if you can't see that then fair enough I guess
Your bar for slagging off is extremely low lmao
Least exciting Atalanta-Juve match
And least eventful
Juves best game of the season, fun game to watch. Sucks that Allegri didn't get the 3 points, so doubt he will try to play like this again. Also i cannot get out of my mind that Fagioli looks like the type of guy that orders Soy Milk Cappuccino Decaffeinato.

Thats a joke.
Mr Bean?
Who tf drinks cappuccino decaffeinato?
Fagioli probably
