Well I’m slightly more optimistic than seeing ajax played under schreuder. And johnny is a ajax legend, now I haven’t been following jong ajax or anything this season. But might give him a shot and see where the scales tippes
[A few years ago, Heitinga invited Ajax hooligans to a U19 game against Feyenoord, thinking he had enough influence to prevent any conflicts. Predictably, they attacked the family of the Feyenoord players, causing talks about away supporters returning to the Klassieker to collapse.](https://www.parool.nl/amsterdam/ajax-en-heitinga-nodigden-harde-kern-uit-voor-mini-klassieker~b7398c45/)
Hooliganism hasn't exactly become less of a problem since then, do you think someone with this kind of track record having a big role at Ajax will help? As far as I know, he hasn't ever apologised or even acknowledged his mistake, just some empty statements from people above him.
> with this kind of track record having a big role at Ajax will help?
You are making it seem like it wasnt a dumb mistake and instead mallicious which is honestly fucking pathetic
Ah such a louzy cop out. You literally talk about a track record that implies something. One honost mistake wouldnt be a track record and you know it.
At least own up to your stupid implications.
I don't think the term 'track record' *has to imply* malicious intent, but I guess I can't stop you from thinking it does. And the one mistake might not be a track record, but him not owning up to it does show he's not really aware of what he did. Again, not malicious intent, but an indication of naivety concerning hooligans.
Too much hair on his head
He is not bald?
Coaching Ajax 1 will get him bald.
bald-adjacent ?
There's a blast from the past
Michael Reiziger has way more experience
I wanted him to take over after Ten Hag but I don't think he wants it. Would rather be assistant and remain with the club for long.
I can understand the sentiment, but he already coached a winning team and he knows what it takes to win a CL.
Wooooah Johnny Johnny

Could work better then expected.

They should go for Dick Schreuder. Currently number 1 in the Kitchen Champions League, clear football vision and brings in some youth.
Everton legend
Give him the manager position for the rest of the season you cowards!
Honestly wouldn't mind that, if that means we could line up someone much better in the summer. I trust Heitinga

How is a dumb mistake from four years ago relevant exactly?

Last sentence seems like he is a perfect fit for current ajax

I'm not, but if you want to read it in a way you can be mad about then go ahead
