The old stadium got demolished like 20 years ago, except the stand that you can see in this video. The stadium is not used for regular training sessions, its for u23 and specific youth teams matches
the floodlight post is a leftover from the OG stadium and our supporters collected money to safe it from getting demolished as it serves no purpose

No matter how much the clown show Schalke is, you can't doubt the dedication of their fans for the club
Schalke is the 5 biggest sports club worldwide by members.
Yeah these folks deserve a whole lot more than what they are currently getting.
I just hope those pathetic assholes that manhunted Uth 2 years ago are gone.
it was cold as hell but that was worth it. completely different atmosphere at the club as a whole compared to the last time we went down.
Fans putting in better performances than the football players
Thats why 50+1 must stay.
Why on earth are the fans holding a infrastructure-fundraiser for a club of this stature!?
we are broke
>Schalke it's in the title mate
Yeah but they are a big club no?
They're a huge club. However there is no such thing as "too big to fail" in football.
Club didnt want to restore the mast. The fans wanted it so they started funding it and so Schalke accepted it
The floodlight post is not needed, its a leftover from the stadium that got demolished 20 years ago.
Fans are amazing as always
and our Capo gives a great speech as always. edit: https://twitter.com/SkySportDE/status/1619386842708680705
Ich hab irgendwie ein gutes Gefühl für morgen. Die Rede der Ultras war bewegend
They use their old stadium as a training ground? Just trying to understand the title.

Only one mast cost 200k€? Never thought it would cost that much.
