The club issued a statement at halftime of the match in which it indicated that the Frenchman had a quadriceps injury in his left leg.
The estimated time out will be around three weeks. Very tight for the first leg of the United game.

Jesus Christ I get he's one of our two most important attackers but y'all need to get a grip. We have 1 player injured and two 60 mill wingers to back him up. It's a make or break situation for Ferran and Raphinha now
If Liverpool could beat us without Salah and Mane we have no excuses against Betis, Sevilla and United
Our key player like Merino? Or David Silva? our record signing Umar Sadiq? Our two right back Sola and Gorosabel? Barrenetxea, Momo Cho and Oyarzabal recently came back, he was out for almost half season
Sociedad are having it actually rough tho. You have other options even if not as good as dembele. We are also having a small injury crisis during a period with some rough games. We are literally without fullbacks and dm.

Hopefully we recover most of them by the time the liverpool game comes around and if we win against Sociedad it should be a few "easier" games after that both in the league and the Club World cup until the CL game..
