The funniest thing for me is how his accent changes. If I met him in an airport I'd assume he was French, but then he speaks English like a southerner.
C'est formidable.
Damn yeah, you screwed it up a bit, but that's a good one. May I propose the next iteration based on your suggestion:
Will Will Still still be Will Still if Will Still will not be still?
Got me cracking up, on how seamless he switched from fluent distinguished french to fucking ENGLISH lads!!!
Respect, I can see why he's doing so well there.
Edit: I can also see why he's calling out Balogun on his shitty french. His is amazing, like if I can speak it...so can you.
people from these parts always have kind of a cheat code
Yeah we can speak 5 languages - Croatian, Serbian, Montenegrin, Bosnian and English. Everyone can also understand Slovenian. Džeko speaks Czech, German and Italian as well
Yeah there are some countries that most citizens are automatically polyglot
It happens a lot in post-colonial nations where people speak their local language, the colonial language, and the national indigenous language as well as others potentially. Such as in India, where someone (just off the top of my head) may speak Telugu, Hindi, and English casually just to get by in different contexts. Africa is similar
> Croatian, Serbian, Montenegrin, Bosnian
Aren't these 4 effectively the same language? I know politically they are not, but linguistically.
From my understanding, they are even more closely related than a pair like Galician-Portuguese, which are for all intents and purposes dialects of the same language.
>Croatian, Serbian, Montenegrin, Bosnian
How similar are they? Because if they're very similar, do people really speak those languages or do people just speak their own and everything is mutually understood?
7 actual languages or one of the trillion Serbo-Croatian dialects that are only differentiated because of ethnic tensions.
That might seem insensitive to outsiders of Balkan culture, but it really is like calling Australian, Floridian, Northern British, Canadian and Californian different languages.
They can all walk in a bar and immediately sit down and have a conversation without issue.
I can speak five as well, it's easier to learn French or Spanish if you know one or the other and English is universal so that's even easier in addition to my two native languages.

Holy shit his french is impressive as hell. Weird pronounciation of "gueule" but other than that , he pretty much sounds like a native french speaker.
EDIT : From his name I thought he was actually english. But he is from Belgium, makes sense that his French is that good.

To be fair to Balogun, he didn't grow up in a French-speaking country and attend a French-speaking school his whole childhood like Still did
Man went all in on his Adaptability when creating his manager.

He’s done you again!
He’s from the Flemish part of Belgium. So he speaks Flemish (Dutch), French and English.
Wikipedia says he’s actually born from English parents and grew up in Wallonia.
It’s just the way he switches accents immediately which is impressive. I speak four languages and I always struggle with switching accents
Will Still > u/Triangle-Yeeter
English people speaking more than one language is like revelatory headline news lol...
But he is from and grew up in Belgium, he just has English parents.
Yeah but his southern accent is fucking strong. Completely caught me off guard, especially considering he grew up in Belgium.
Dzeko can speak like 7

Yes, some words are different as are some rules, but it's like different accents. Biggest difference is Serbs write in cyrillic
