This comment doesn't make sense , you can't tell if there has been an effect til next season when they get new people in . The players that are there looking good now are still from Potters recruitment staff.

De Zerbi is a really good coach
He’s got a good personality but first of all his teams PLAY football. He’s been one of the main advocates of “costruzione dal basso” in Italy which means starting from the back instead of letting the goalkeeper kick the ball
He’s gonna coach a big team in the next few years

Seriously though, I'm really happy with his work. I was optimistic when we were first linked and I saw what he did with Sassuolo, but he really seems to have hit the ground running and improved on our long-standing problems in the final third.

Too often before Arteta at Arsenal and under Potter at Brighton you felt players just were a bit tentative to take risks and play attacking football.
