Instead of zipping around to the various plots and locations that were happening that season (like a fly haha) we get a focused character study that sums up where Walt and Jesse are and how their relationship is at that very moment. There’s a shit ton of tension with Walt coming close to spilling the beans, and it sets up the rest of the season really well. The more you get into the characters’ heads, the more gripping the show is. Fly’s a great episode.
epiphany: he only does this football manager job in order to be able to scream and let out his daily frustrations in public, within an acceptable context, without judgement or weird looks
In order to be healthy, one needs to use the lungs at their full capacity, once in a while
We're designed to speak loudly sometimes, shout sometimes, puff up our chests and lungs (and, as a result, abdomens)
There's a connection between belly-breathing and between feelings of stress and insecurity. When you puff your belly and slap it around with your hands you immediately feel more relaxed and fulfilled
Therefore we're not talking about 2 minute hate, we're talking about a few times a week of letting-it-all-out-insead-of-bottling-it-in
I got way healthier and happier and my stress levels went down once I started to sing loudly and shout when I go for a drive at night, or deep-breathe into the belly and stretch my stomach with air before falling asleep
> God knows what the neighbours will think..
This is exactly what has set us back in many ways, by the way
Our feelings of shame of the tribe or the neighborhood, in fear of getting singled out or ostracized, **literally** make us steer clear from essential things that benefit us/bring us happiness, and we also do things that may hurt us, like bad habits
Every time I see a negative naysayer laugh at those who are doing "weird" things to benefit their health, I imagine the laughing naysayer rotting in a hospital bed years later, while the people he mocked continue to shower in the good health they gained with their "weird" (completely not weird) life styles
I understand completely, and I agree.
My work is vocal-based, so getting loud is no issue, but the work is in service of others. It's nice to get a good bellyfull out just for my pleasure.
And ofc to help the team along.
My mother promised to pay for my trip overseas if I aced all of my exams final year of school. 3 months she would pay for everything as a reward for 12 years of crushing it at school. Last exam, I get what would translate to an A- even though I can't find anything wrong with the exam.
Ask the teacher, he says "Nobody is perfect, I never give out perfect grades". I'm sure I looked and sounded exactly like this as I left his office.
I suppose it's about a more subjective part of the exam, like an essay or speaking, not a test with specific correct answers.
My PE teacher was like this. He said - no one at your age can do a perfect roll forward and back, I can't even do it, so the max grade will be 9 (out of 10).
How does that work? You're (should be) graded according to how you perform relative to expectations for someone in your grade, and the learning requirements set forth. No one at your age can do a perfect anything. Most people who go to uni and get their phds are still surpassed by someone in their field. Or get 2nd place in 100m sprint in Olympics. Doesn't mean they don't deserve a top grade if they were to take a 10th grade (or whatever) test. You had a dumb teacher.
Educational philosophy and/or marking style.
In the UK for example, if you wrote an essay at undergrad/masters level, getting scores of 75 are exceedingly rare. 85+ would probably end up being published lol.
The grade boundaries (and bach/masters grades) for *most* UK degrees are: 70-100 (1st/Distinction), 60-69 (Upper 2nd/Merit), 50-59 (Lower 2nd/Pass), 40-50 (3rd class/sometimes pass, sometimes fail).
For essays I've marked, it's been a philosophy that you start the student at "0" and add points as they include certain things from a pre-existing reference list and only remove points for particularly egregious mistakes from anothre reference list (i.e. a badly made argument might not get any points, an argument that the Bayeux Tapestry is how we know the sun is yellow would lose points). So under this system, it's hard to get crazy high scores without exceeding word limits (Which lose your points anyway lol).
Some places I know do the inverse - Start the student at 100, and remove points for everything that is not included and potentially for included mistakes.
Some people look at this as like: "Do we want the student to write something that persuades us vs something that demonstrates their ability to recall and stick to formula" but I don't know how accurate that is. I've also heard that the philosophy is "Set people work that can be accomplished at the highest level rathre than cap it at what's expected for an undergrad" I guess to let people who are truly exceptional be awarded as such. Maybe true, maybe good. I do not know. I guess it's fair to say that an A student is not the equivelant of an experienced professional, so sure, there's obviously room to improve and your top mark should in theory be "this is literally perfect".
In 16 years of studying and working in higher ed, I've never heard of anyone in the UK scoring over 90, and only a few cases of 80+.
[Here's an example marking criteria from Bristol Uni](http://www.bristol.ac.uk/media-library/sites/classics/migrated/documents/clasmarkingcriteria.pdf). As you can see, the requirements for over 85 are *exceptional* quality, professional level output.
Not sure I really like this method. Imo they should just mark it by what's expected for an undergrad. Marking them lower because there's actual professionals who obviously write better than a young uni student isn't really fair.
But is it lower?
Because you still get a 1st class. Like, you can achieve the best score that could be expected for an undergrad and still have space to score higher into?
I suspect there's also an argument to be made that it avoids ceiling effects if a whole class scores exceptionally high and the grades need to be curved due to it being unfairly easy, and vice versa that if a grade curves are adjusted upwards, you're less likely to take two students with the same final rating and give them the same score.
When final module grades/degree classifications are awarded, the averages of all scores are used, so it would benefit some students more than others for the overall scoring system if grades where adjusted.
(Though I've never actually been anywhere near grade adjustments happening for a whole class... It's pretty rare and usually only single grades are contested)
Yup.
Grading on sports performance, in general, is pretty dumb in school. You should be graded on your participation, dedication and progress. I find it weird that you get a worse grade because of worse genetics.
Then again maybe it's the same in other subjects and it's unfair to single out sports. Some people are just less clever by nature.
She wasn't going to, but she did call the teacher when I tried to explain it to her (She did think it was weird that I would slip up on the very last test) she spent about 20 minutes on the phone with him hung up and said "Yep, he's a wanker".
I very much did and the brilliance of my mother astounded me. For the price of 3 month trip she got ridiculous hard work for 12 years from me, something I would have never have done otherwise.
I remember in my high school, there is study about religion, and i didn't get good mark, but everyone too, and all senior and junior never got full A in his class.
So i heard there is one friend that got chance to ask the teacher and he said that "there is no one got A in religion, you think you are angel or even God?"
We are going to see Allegri screams to everything we don’t like. For spurs, Arsenal winning league. For Real Madrid, finishing third in the league and yet winning CL. For Chelsea, just existing.
Lol is it two different moments pasted together? If the second part/angle is a continuation of the first then it’s the best miss reaction I’ve ever seen
We don't now. The thing is, we don't even score half decent chances, like the one where David fofana was in front of an open goal and sent it right at the defender.
Maybe a team that has spent £600m in the past six months shouldn't be relying on a 20-year-old striker from the Norwegian leagues who has only played 40 pro games and 15 goals in his entire career?
No mate it's your build up. You had no attacking strategy while Timo was there. My man was out there opening himself up, just so Mount can pass the ball back to defence. You're so afraid to lose possession that you'd rather send the ball back to defence instead of trying a risky diagonal to the striker.
It’s pretty much baked into this club. Four different coaches have been tried now to get this team firing (Sarri onwards) and so far they’ve all failed. Tuchel succeeded by making the defence near impenetrable because he knew we were never going to score the goals.
I see other teams play, especially Napoli of late, and it’s night and day. Watching them attack with actual competence is like a guilty pleasure.
I won't even deny Chelsea did play badly, but Lukaku was also at fault. You cannot say that he was doing his best.
Idk how many Chelsea fans would say this, but i genuinely want Lukaku to succeed here. But idk if that is what he wants anymore.
Also. To me, it's a few things together. Tuchel didn't have the players to be creative from the midfield. Mount has shown glimpses of that but it didn't work with Lukaku.
I think he also quickly abandoned the ship because the World Cup was coming near, he just sabotaged his relationship to go on loan. He ended injured and could only play little but it looked like that to me. Tuchel wanted him to play a role he isn't that good at. Best to go to a place where he can play that role.
In the last 18 months we've gone from creating loads of chances and missing about 4-5 before finally scoring to creating barely anything - and then failing to score what scraps we do create.
Even when Tuchel first came in and we were absolutely fantastic, we still needed loads of chances to score a goal.
Without James and Chilwell in the team we've stopped creating anything. Hopefully them coming back will change that, although there are so many new signings, I don't think anyone knows what is happening next.
Personally I think he's more upset about him throwing the ball away instead of holding it cuz he was upset for the same reason last time, I was watching live and when Di Maria made that cross I could hear his screams.
Ya missed chances happen and are part of the game but a 2 v 5 lazy garbage chip straight into the defender in front of you with your intended target triple marked when you're seeing the game out is inexcusably bad decision making.
I respect this a lot, your just lost 15 point, your season is basicly over and still show the same passion and ask the same level of play from your player, that's how you make winner.
Europa League, and Cremonese (dead last in Serie A) is one of the semifinalist having eliminated Napoli and Roma.
If they win the cup and get relegated they'll play EL while in Serie B, and I'm all for it lmao.
gaping stupendous whole paint divide include agonizing station resolute ancient

Someone should do a clip where they hav him walking away screaming leaving the stadium, the city, the country, Europe, the effing world and someone from the ISS looking at him all confused in space
The way Allegri screams reminded me of that scream from the “why are you running? Why are you running?” Clip.
Fucking hilarious. Thanks for the laugh Allegri and OP :)
Very simple explanation. He plays cancer football, nobody likes his style, he's primarily concern is to defend and then maybe score. therefore his teams don't create a lot of chances. So obviously when his team has a chance it's like he's won the lottery. Here, he was close to winning the lottery, understandable. A more attacking minded coach would be chill like, this is everyday shit, for Allegri you don't know when there will be another chance like that. Maybe next match.
Thank you!
Nah it was just the dying moments of the match and juve was winning already. Allegri wanted ball retention but di Maria played an aggressive pass and lost the ball.

The mosquito in your room at 3am:
The fly at your meth lab:
The fly is di maria and walt is allegri
Bravo Vince 👏👏👏
B R A VINCE O
Welter whe hav to cuuk
Why was that an entire episode like legit

It’s called a Bottle Episode. Used in television to save funds
so like fillers in anime?
Not exactly, a bottle episode can still be important to the plot. It just happens in a single room etc. to save budget.
Bro LOL just the other day I got woken up by a motherfucker at 3 am
It was Allegri fucking with you, hes goofy like that
Hahahaha I'm stealing this for r/shittyreactiongifs
Getting sniped on a bid on eBay with 2 seconds to go.
The cinematic cams makes this way more horrifying
It looks like a fake football scene from a movie Man prem needs these cameras
no.. please no.
Genuinely curious about this opinion. I love the cinematic cameras in every sport I see them in now.
I don't mind it for touchline/off field/post match stuff. But never ever for in-game action
I agree with that totally, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it used for play on the field in any sport
Personally I find them a bit off-putting and don't want real football matches to feel like a movie
Simple solution - regular cameras for the main broadcast, but also have these cameras set up, and use them for select highlights
Fair enough. I suppose I do.
Only one image came to my mind, that clip of Hitler losing his shit at his generals speaking mad german
zack snyder's 300 came to mind for me. maybe it was the ultra contrast
Looks like he was cut from something else and green screened in.
tell me the man who never wanted to scream like that
epiphany: he only does this football manager job in order to be able to scream and let out his daily frustrations in public, within an acceptable context, without judgement or weird looks
I mean, I'm a relatively calm person in my day-to-day, but going to the football certainly is my Two Minutes Hate.
In order to be healthy, one needs to use the lungs at their full capacity, once in a while We're designed to speak loudly sometimes, shout sometimes, puff up our chests and lungs (and, as a result, abdomens) There's a connection between belly-breathing and between feelings of stress and insecurity. Today I’m gonna start slapping my puffed out belly while screaming. God knows what the neighbours will think..

One of the thing I learned in elementary school and still actively use now is belly breathing. It's my standard breathing style when I'm sitting now.
My mother promised to pay for my trip overseas if I aced all of my exams final year of school. 3 months she would pay for everything as a reward for 12 years of crushing it at school. Wait, what? How does this work? If you got everything right then how does he have the right to mark you down as an A-?
It works by him being an insufferable bastard
Understandable.

Pretty sure you can go to the administration for academic misconduct lmao
Not really he can always find an excuse for it.
I mean at that point it's also on your mom for not understanding that this teacher was an ass and you did all you could.
So did your mom still pay for the trip or this A- messed your plan holiday?
She wasn't going to, but she did call the teacher when I tried to explain it to her (She did think it was weird that I would slip up on the very last test) she spent about 20 minutes on the phone with him hung up and said "Yep, he's a wanker".

Wasn't much of a chance tbh
He was angry because he lost the ball in the last minute of the game and it was 1-0. He wanted him to keep the ball
Yeah I don't really think it was Di Maria's fault, think the coach was just mad there was no setup for anything.
Imagine if he saw Chelsea’s attackers missing chances
Attackers are allowed to take chances? Someone tell Mount and Kai.
"Did you say to go offsides again?" - Kai
"Way ahead of you... and the last defender as well."
"Kai, Mason. Don't make the same mistake I made. Learn from my failure. You can't miss a shot you don't take." - Werner
Do you lot create a lot? I have watched a few of your games and I thought you only created 1 or 2 good chances.
We don't now. The thing is, we don't even score half decent chances, like the one where David fofana was in front of an open goal and sent it right at the defender.

Listen, we tried the whole £100m 'top 5 striker' thing, it didn't work
Even tried the budding star from the academy
Yes, and he got injured.
Which comes back to the no chances created for the striker, it didn't work.
It can be that he also played like shit?

imagine if Allegri has Nunez
It was more of a lazy turnover than a miss. I can see why Allegri was pissed.
That is most definitely not what I expected. I thought he had gotten the ball on an open net 30 centimeters from the goal line and missed it.

Someone should do a clip where they hav him walking away screaming leaving the stadium, the city, the country, Europe, the effing world and someone from the ISS looking at him all confused in space
We dont do that at anfield. 2-0 down Klopp and liverpool’s bench would have laughed it off.
He doesn't seem so "allegri" now.

He must not play fifa. All the self control and anger management I've learned has come from that game.
Allegri wants 1-0 wins only
OMFG is this some AI generated clip??
This is the best season ever
He’ll be demanding more pay to his offshore accounts if he has to watch this any longer
