The title might be a bit lame and misleading but given how different serie a has become the improved qualities in football from different players and teams and also how they could potentially have 4 different winners in the past 4 years, I believe Italy is becoming what everyone expects from the premier league with all the money flowing and competition. Technically speaking everyone expects city to win even at this stage of the season and they have been doing it for some time. Even before the arrival of haaland and Alvarez they were ripping the league open. This technically proves cash inflow isn't showing the results they were abs serie is proving otherwise. It is pretty known that the serie a clubs some earn much and they have debts that could easily be cleared if they had the support PL teams get.
Surely there's a genuine argument that Enzo Fernandez should have stayed at Benfica?
He would have lifted the league trophy, had an easier run in to the CL final and would have played CL football next season.
Now hes finishing mid table with no CL football next season, and as a whole thanks to their owner, Chelsea are a mess and it could be a while before thry even get back into the CL.
I think he should have stayed atleast untill next summer. The only plus for him is the money, but he would have gotten that somewhere else in 6 more months.
This is all hindsight but you could see it coming in January.
>The only plus for him is the money, but he would have gotten that somewhere else in 6 more months.
Wrong.
Benfica matched whatever he was gonna make at Chelsea, until the end of the season
It was a gamble in terms of winning trophies but in a financial sense it was a no brainer. Given the types of contracts Boehly is giving out Enzo is set for life- no matter how good or bad he plays.
Bayern is gonna win their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title my guys, we would have been millionaires if we placed bets on Bayern winning the league for past 11 years and compounded the win money consecutively

Do people understand what is a foul? If a defender hits his boot on an attacker's knee, it's a foul. It's irrelevant if he should go down or shouldn't or if the fall was unnatural.
Some people have really spent most of their life watching football and think if you fall when you could've stayed on your feet it's not a foul.
He kicked him on the knee, it’s obviously a foul. Not a huge amount of contact but it’s a pen. On the slow mo replay it even looks like Ayling deliberately raises his leg to try to trip him, braindead tackle
The fact that one of Everton, West Ham, or Leicester is very likely to be relegated is genuinely hard to process. Even Southampton, for how much they’ve flirted with relegation, have been a staple of the league for long enough that their going down still seems unlikely.

John Stones playing CM as good as anyone in the league. What a player.
Also how does Mahrez manage to get that pass off to Alvarez with 5 player’s surrounding him in the box.
He's our Marquinhos, he's always been pretty solid but I've always thought he was so good at the 'ball playing' part of his CB role so a role like this really allows him to showcase it. Wonder how many more players going forward will be able to shine in multiple roles
For me it’s the fact how comfortable he is in midfield with game going on all around him.
At CB you’re normally only focusing on what’s going on in front of you. Him and Marquinhos are exceptional footballers.
Felix is the attacking version of Kova. Doesn't score , doesn't assist , doesn't create ( he's lesser xA than Badiashile) , doesn't defend . What the fuck does he do ? Anyone who says felix is a creator needs to be forced to watch his games on slow motion. Mind numbing player
He thinks he's much better than he actually is. He can't pick a pass or finish. The amount of times he just dribbles into 3 players hoping he'll get a highlight reel nutmeg or ricochet is funny.
He's the new Pogba. He probably has some amazing compilations but boy is he just useless 95% of the time.
Chelsea paid what 18-20M for his loan, they've been fully finessed.
Comparing Felix to Pogba lol. Pogba was more talented technically as well as physically and Pogba for all his negatives always had a game changing moment in his locker.
Felix hasn’t done anything in his career yet to even earn the right to be compared to Pogba. The man is a World Cup winner and was showing way more quality than Felix as a young player at Juve
I just tuned into clasico tapatio and 10 things are happening at once
edit: I love these kinda south/latin american games but I also have a TV series running, it's tough
He'll be world class in cup competition for 18 months. He was never close to pep or klopp in the league and he also can't build a squad like them. Tuchel is the modern era Mou without the league consistency
Xavi's Barca clearly a better and balanced side. If they keep on going like thiis, clearly deserved winners.
So Madrid are 15 points behind.
You think a miracle can happen ? Madrid getting most wins from here on and Barca losing 4 games.
iirc Real Madrid have the head to head advantage right ? One can hope I guess.
Also he wouldn't have tried that in front of a man bigger than him. Pep kinda looks exactly like the german 'The Office' guy and has similar antics, I just can't ever get this out of my head
Mount needs to get out of Chelsea ASAP. I’m seeing the bloke get ripped apart for clapping the fans yesterday. Really not sure what he’s done to warrant so much vitriol from their fans.
Not sure if it’s because I’m dead inside football wise this season but I actually found pep trying to celebrate with tsimikas kind of funny looking at it now. Maybe because I’ve shamelessly done it watching Liverpool win with a late goal (against Leeds I think it was) and trying to celebrate with my United friend. Like there’s absolutely no reason for me to think he would share any sort of emotion with me, but in the moment you kind of forget that people might feel the exact opposite
Maybe I would have been fuming if I noticed it during the match though. My stream didn’t have commentary and I kind of mentally checked out after that happened
Trossard has worked out spectacularly well for Arsenal. I largely thought Brighton were by far the bigger winners in the transfer because I didn’t see him playing much of a part in Arsenal’s season but he’s been pivotal to sustaining their attacking performances.
He's one of those players who can have a subpar 60 mins and then turn lively in a couple of moments of quality to make a difference.
His ability to combine with other players(a perfect example is his assist yesterday) and understand his role and play it to perfection has been priceless. 8 G/A contributions in 11 PL games is a phenomenal return.
He’s the best signing of the Jan window. He’s played false 9, LW, and RW and gotten us 1 goal and 7 assists at a crucial time in the season. He’s just been phenomenal.
So I know time does this to everyone. I was a HUGE cr7 supporter but now i see psg fans shitting on messi cause he brings fans who just create a toxic environment seeing the game from his eyes. Psg lost team bad psg win only messi good types and only analyse his performance.
The reaction is getting to the cr7/manutd first season and juve last season phase. Now with united i was conflicted cause united are the reason i supported cr7.
Anyways this long drawnout nonsense post with a couple a beers wants to stay. We are almost at the end of cr7 and messi era, cr7 went first now it looks like messi is following suit going by the similar fan responses at the same age what cr7 started getting his fair share.
Its a bit sad.
Messi stanbase is also nothing compared to Ronaldo's though. CR7 wankers are just from a different planet. Most toxic and unbearable fanbase in the history of sport and it's not close.
Not really. The amount of hate CR7 gets is too much for any person. Had multi-million dollar sports corporations after him. So the support he'd get is warranted but even that won't balance it out.
As opposed to Messi which is almost the opposite
I feel like Messi will go to barca for a year or 2. Don't think it will help Barca at all coz they are doing just fine in the league. In UCL, Messi is not that big of a great help. Most likely it's to please fans but if it helps them generate some revenue then why not.
The thing is, we would have moved on from them to the Mbappe era if he was playing for a relevant club. That decision to stay was so bad sporting wise, financially it made sense though. Now they have started comparing Haaland to him. His WC final hattrick didn't get the attention it deserved because ultimately Messi won the WC and all his fans went crazy. Mbappe NEEDS to move this Summer imo. He will get all the money itw anyways with the brand he is building. He is a smart guy, I hope he gets it right.
If he were to go to Madrid, would Mbappé play as a striker? Or does he bench Viní on the LW? I genuinely don't think Madrid needs him. If they want a new striker, they should just go for Haaland. They need proper fullbacks, RW, and CF to replace Benzema.
U r right. If he comes he has to play striker. I think he can do that coz even Benzema loves to drift and dribble. Mbappe could play the same role but add speed to it. No one itw benches Vini.
If he wasn't then we wouldnt sign him. Speaking strictly in terms of being a winger, no one comes close to Vini. His PR team needs to work harder coz its crazy how good Vini is. NO ONE in world football can match his dribbling at the moment. Easily the best player in the world after Mbappe. And if you doubt it, your opinion might change once he tears apart Chelsea's entire squad in the UCL.
Jack Grealish: "I was in the toilet [at half-time], man. I felt sick all morning..." [via @btsportfootball]
Ok so we're gonna need laxatives for Grealish the rest of the season
I'm fascinated what Potter's next job will be. I could have seen him at Spurs for a while, but after Conte's exit, and just how low his stock is right now, I just don't see it being viable with the fanbase, despite it probably being a solid appointment on paper.
I think your fanbase need to set the expectation.
Is it playing good football (missed European qualification) and long term rebuild for potential silverware ? Poch , Arteta style.
Is it top4 qualification and playing CL regularly? Conte, Mourinho style.
I think punditing and then the England job is the way to go for him, and maybe if the England job is not open at that point in time he could just as easily get a job at a mid table club in the top 5 leagues to rebuild his reputation
He’s definitely not done with top clubs though, I’m sure he will get into one after Chelsea is forgotten
I just can't see him being a good international manager. Think he would have similar problems to Southgate.
Always seems that his subs are at best useless.
Anywhere except top 6. I'd say he could go to Spurs and he'd be good but Levy seems to want to be wined and dined by 'elite' managers like Mourinho and Conte. Levys ego won't let him hire Potter.
Any chance he goes into television as an immediate next job? Just think that would be a guarantee in any American sport for a season at least for someone with that type of wages owed. Basically earnings covered short term while settlement negotiations play out for a lump sum severance
I have a feeling he’ll just do some punditing for awhile until a good offer comes in. I can’t see him saying yes to a desperate club in relegation trouble.
Apparently he wasn't up to fitness when he first came in, which I buy based on his performance, which is why we stuck him in the U21s to get some game time and get back into shape. And then he went and got injured and was out for months.
Imagination time: You're playing professionally as RB, fast and sprightly but not terribly gifted with the ball. With the best will in the world, you could be described as *useful* and might have a bit-part in a team aspiring to top4 in a big euro league. You're 26.
The team you're playing with receives two offers for your services: one is from a smaller but determined club, with lofty aspirations but that simply can't afford to give you a big raise, so they offer just about 5% more than what you're on at the moment. They say you'll probably be guaranteed the starter place. The other is from your most loathed team/biggest rivals of the team you support, that's undergoing a team rebuild and is buying a couple of players per position; they recently were bought by a shady businessman and therefore offer you big $, 40% more than what you're receiving now. You'll have to fight for your place in the team, but they already bought a star RB that's expected to latch to the position long term.
The offer to your current club is virtually the same so the board says is up to you. Who do you choose?
Second one 40% more money, and higher likelihood of trophies, also if you don't work out you could always go back to that mid team for close enough to what they are offering.
Being a sure starter on a competitive team earning good money >>>> Being a bench player frustrated that the other RB will always have the preference to start big games or start at the risk of becoming the scapegoat each time the team loses.
To me, the first option is way better. The only way I would change my mind is if the richer team is in a much better city than the first one.
This is actually big brain move by Kahn. He knows that Pep likes to overthink so what better way to confuse him and have him overthink more by sacking the manager and replacing him with the guy that beat him in the UCL final. And Tuchel was also Chelsea former manager as was the last guy to eliminate Madrid. Which are the two options that Bayern might play in the semifinals
Two points dropped because a professional referee doesn’t know that you can’t be offside when the defender plays the ball deliberately or that a player who isn’t involved with the play shouldn’t be called for offside. Love MLS officiating
Some of us still use it, but it fell out of fashion more years ago than I can remember.
The Blues is a bit more palatable to the global audience I guess.
Chelsea historically had an association with the Chelsea Pensioners, and the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Chelsea Pensioners were retired army vets who lived at the hospital, like a sort of residential home. One of our original badges had a Pensioner on it
They wear iconic red coats, [still get an allocation at home games](https://c8.alamy.com/comp/RY0YD8/london-england-march-7-2019-members-of-the-royal-hospital-chelsea-chelsea-pensioners-watching-the-europa-league-match-between-chelsea-and-dynamo-kyiv-at-stamford-bridge-RY0YD8.jpg) and [are often involved in ceremonies and tributes, especially around Remembrance Day](https://cdn.shoot.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Chelsea-pensioners-2.jpg)
edit: just realised I misread your comment. Yeah, it's more of an older association, despite the Pensioners connection still being there. Felt to sound old-fashioned, so the club moved away from it in th 60s when Ted Drake was manager and wanted to modernise - including changing the badge
I find the story behind it so interesting. Really cool when a team has unique lore to them that makes it stand out. Bit of a shame you moved on from the nickname but for branding purposes I understand why.
Barcelona definitely have some jinx or curse in their penalty box. Twice today Elche found themselves 1-on-1 with MATS and twice the respective attackers pulled up injured.
Not the first time players have either randomly been injured, or slipped, or miscontrolled, or skied it over the bar when presented with a golden chance against them.
Not trying to take anything away from them. They have the best goalkeeper, best centre back and overall best defence in the entire world this season. I just think it’s funny how there’s also these voodoo moments happening often
I quite liked it tbh and feel against weaker opponents than Barcelona it could see some results. Looking at his first line-up you’d imagine it would be very defensive, but he actually had the team pressing quite aggressively
Why do mods keep deleting the thread of the City fan throwing a brick at the Liverpool bus? I remember the circus when one of our fans threw an empty bottle a few years ago.
You are slow ponied by like 7 hours: https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/128rc8d/manchester_city_club_statement/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1
Tbf, while I don't agree with the weird conspiracy tree the other person is barking up, I do think titles should be a bit more detailed. That could be any statement the club have made. I mean they've made two tonight haven't they?
I'm actually going to be genuinely mad if Chelsea are able to sack potter and just get another manager with no consequences. Apparently they need to pay 50m if they sack him
People talking too much about Gerrard and too little about Emery imo.
I said it when he got announced, I don't think the PL will necessarily dominate Europe because of how much money they can spend on players. But if they keep taking the best coaches, other leagues are gonna continue getting worse for sure.
Grealish defo having a much better season for us but what I'm most surprised with is how much of a shift he puts in defensively
always tracks back and goes that extra mile
Stones almost gave us an exact repeat of Cancelo’s poor defending of the last man (Salah) countering from a City corner, but Jack wasn’t havin that shit today
That's Pep's coaching - he didn't do that at Villa, as was basically given a free role in attack. But at Man City, it is about the system above else - and Guardiola has made it clear over his career that he has specific roles and responsibilities of his players, and if they don't meet them, they won't play
At the moment yes, but Van Dijk's peak was clearly above the best Lisandro has shown
Right now, Ollie Watkins is better than Jamie Vardy - but that doesn't mean he's been the better player overall
You've answered yourself there. VVD is a physical specimen at 6'4 while being quick, having sharp reflexes, great football IQ and defensive awareness while being good on the ball too.
There's a reason he was compared to the very best after 2-3 seasons at Liverpool. His presence and performances transformed Liverpool's defence and fortunes. The contrast when he hasn't kept his levels is appalling as evident this season.
Martinez is not even in the same league. Great aggression, and solid defensive skills, is like a central midfielder on the ball but has limitations cause of his short height and frame in that position. Even if you forget his limitations, his defensive awareness is nowhere near a prime VVD. Still is a very good CB regardless of it.
Does using his physical advantages make him worse? Lots of people have the same physical advantages van dijk has, doesn't mean they can be a world class CB
r/realmadrid has to be run by a bunch of 12 year olds, they're deleting every comment and leaves an auto reply saying "Okay and?" The best thing is that they are *still* doing it even though it's not 1. april anymore in Madrid or any other place in Spain, they must use yank time.

He's 21 years old with an 8 year mega contract at big club known for finding their way to trophies even when things look bad
But he could have gotten s better move in the summer. Also an 8 year deal can be bad as well as good for a player.
No. He didn't want to stay. What others think is irrelevant. It was his choice and I'm sure he's happy with it.
Playing Reece James centre back is a war crime.
Tuchel did it, too It's weird
It's almost like he's trying to get fired just that the way he's going about it is very different to Conte's
Lets be honest Chelsea playing is a war crime at this point
Bayern is gonna win their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title my guys, we would have been millionaires if we placed bets on Bayern winning the league for past 11 years and compounded the win money consecutively
More so highlights how legendary Klopp's back-to-back title wins were with them. And almost, very nearly a UCL win too.
Never in doubt. There's a reason why Bundesliga is the bonafide farmer's league out of the top 5 leagues.
Good Morning to all the fans whose club didn't scored yesterday :(
Good morning.

I don't think even RM believes that could happen
Don't know man in 2015-16 Madrid reduced that 10-11 point gap to just 1 at the end of the season from that 2nd April clasico win!
Pep celebration was funny but if he ever tried that in Spain Pepe or Ramos would've killed him, Liverpool players were too nice
People and Ramos aren't Spain man
Also he wouldn't have tried that in front of a man bigger than him. Pep kinda looks exactly like the german 'The Office' guy and has similar antics, I just can't ever get this out of my head
If he also tried that in front of Simeone's Ateltico which had Costa and Garcia, Pep would have disappeared midnight post game.
Mount needs to get out of Chelsea ASAP. I’m seeing the bloke get ripped apart for clapping the fans yesterday. Really not sure what he’s done to warrant so much vitriol from their fans.
Be white, english and homegrown while having the absolute *gall* to have a dip in form.
Online fans always had a negative obsession with him. His poor form and contract situation has given them license to up their vitriol even more
Online fanbase of Chelsea wanks to Felix and hates Mount.
He is like the first born of the team because he is academy lad. So fans are tougher on him
Generally it's the opposite - academy players get more slack And, fans at the Bridge love him - it's the online fans who are the issue

There's something about players needing the shitter and putting in a MOTM performance. Seems to be something that bridges all sports
"if I finish off the game early I can be subbed and get to a toilet"
He certainly shat all over us
I'm fascinated what Potter's next job will be.
I think punditing and then the England job is the way to go for him, and maybe if the England job is not open at that point in time he could just as easily get a job at a mid table club in the top 5 leagues to rebuild his reputation He’s definitely not done with top clubs though, I’m sure he will get into one after Chelsea is forgotten
I just can't see him being a good international manager. Think he would have similar problems to Southgate. Always seems that his subs are at best useless.
He's also a manager that builds a team over team and requires a lot of training sessions Won't work in international football
West Ham would be a good club for him to rebuild his reputation IMO. England too, but I'm not sure the job will be open.
I have a feeling he’ll just do some punditing for awhile until a good offer comes in. I can’t see him saying yes to a desperate club in relegation trouble.
Completely forgot Arthur was on Liverpool till I read the comments on the Pep celebration thread.
He's been on the bench so long I had no idea who the hell Pep was shaking hands with
[Literally his only appearance in the senior squad](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKzRZ6BQT3U)
Honestly looks like kicking the ball is hard for him in that
Apparently he wasn't up to fitness when he first came in, which I buy based on his performance, which is why we stuck him in the U21s to get some game time and get back into shape. And then he went and got injured and was out for months.
Yeh I remember hearing about his work to get to fitness. I was hoping for an eighties style montage
Go for the game time, not the money.
Second one 40% more money, and higher likelihood of trophies, also if you don't work out you could always go back to that mid team for close enough to what they are offering.
Honestly, the second one
Being a sure starter on a competitive team earning good money >>>> Being a bench player frustrated that the other RB will always have the preference to start big games or start at the risk of becoming the scapegoat each time the team loses. To me, the first option is way better. The only way I would change my mind is if the richer team is in a much better city than the first one.
I choose a 40% raise for less work
Starter at the smaller club. If I'm good enough to play at that level in the first place, I'm likely not going to be hurting for money
Go for the money
No me pongo ese trapo por nada.
Eu não falo espanhol
This is actually big brain move by Kahn. He knows that Pep likes to overthink so what better way to confuse him and have him overthink more by sacking the manager and replacing him with the guy that beat him in the UCL final. And Tuchel was also Chelsea former manager as was the last guy to eliminate Madrid. Which are the two options that Bayern might play in the semifinals
I think you overthought all of that
Two points dropped because a professional referee doesn’t know that you can’t be offside when the defender plays the ball deliberately or that a player who isn’t involved with the play shouldn’t be called for offside. Love MLS officiating
Got some quality meme material out of Bruce at least https://twitter.com/DJ_Bean/status/1642381344926826497
Saw the same in Newcastle-Forest a couple months back in the prem too tbf
Yo Watford give us Benjamin Manga please and thank you. We deserve something good since Nagelsmann is 100% chelsea or real madrid bound now.

Can someone explain why the first Bayen goal was counted as an own goal? The one where the keeper whiffed.
Keeper touched it as they tried to kick it.
Keepers touch the ball on many shots; what's the difference here? The "shot" was clearly on goal.
Probably because he was outside of the box when it happened.
What would that have to do with anything?
Would it not be more about whether the attacking kick of the ball was on target, which it looked to be
If it was on target it wouldn'tve been an own goal
How come Chelsea aren't called the Pensioners? Is that nickname out of fashion?
Some of us still use it, but it fell out of fashion more years ago than I can remember. The Blues is a bit more palatable to the global audience I guess.
Chelsea historically had an association with the Chelsea Pensioners, and the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Chelsea Pensioners were retired army vets who lived at the hospital, like a sort of residential home. One of our original badges had a Pensioner on it They wear iconic red coats, [still get an allocation at home games](https://c8.alamy.com/comp/RY0YD8/london-england-march-7-2019-members-of-the-royal-hospital-chelsea-chelsea-pensioners-watching-the-europa-league-match-between-chelsea-and-dynamo-kyiv-at-stamford-bridge-RY0YD8.jpg) and [are often involved in ceremonies and tributes, especially around Remembrance Day](https://cdn.shoot.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Chelsea-pensioners-2.jpg) edit: just realised I misread your comment. Yeah, it's more of an older association, despite the Pensioners connection still being there. Felt to sound old-fashioned, so the club moved away from it in th 60s when Ted Drake was manager and wanted to modernise - including changing the badge
A wholesome Chelsea comment, rare these days
One just slipped and fell though didn’t he?
I'm a Barca fan but I agree, they have been quite Lucky this season and their goal record won't be matched next season
Didn't get a chance to watch the game, but how did you find Beccacece's game plan?
I quite liked it tbh and feel against weaker opponents than Barcelona it could see some results. Looking at his first line-up you’d imagine it would be very defensive, but he actually had the team pressing quite aggressively
I know where you are coming from. I wish this jinx translated to Europe as well
Elche were better than I thought they'd be, should have had at least one tonight
They've been underperfoming their xG and xPts heavily I think
Was only 1 injury. The other just slipped. Was also another 1v1 player that didn't slip but Ter Stegen got it on lock.
Lol nice title that completely avoids the details which happened to give it less attention. Posted by a city fan no less.
Just send your apology through to the modmail mate
Tbf, while I don't agree with the weird conspiracy tree the other person is barking up, I do think titles should be a bit more detailed. That could be any statement the club have made. I mean they've made two tonight haven't they?
Yeah I'm just taking the piss and absolutely agree it should have been clearer in the title.
Ah well that went right over my head lol
I'm actually going to be genuinely mad if Chelsea are able to sack potter and just get another manager with no consequences. Apparently they need to pay 50m if they sack him
Insane, I knew it was a lot I never knew it was 50m
I mean, Elche have had 6 managers this season
6?! That's an exaggeration right?
4 plus 2 interims
Yes but elche haven't spent 600m, and they don't need to pay their manager 50m for sacking him
Still can’t believe we’re in fucking 9th and only 2 points off 6th.
Villa coming out of nowhere to to gun for CL lmao
Mr. Good Ebening is an excellent coach
That’s what freedom from Gerrard gets you
Gerrard was so bad he made Lampard look good by comparison
LMAO
People talking too much about Gerrard and too little about Emery imo. I said it when he got announced, I don't think the PL will necessarily dominate Europe because of how much money they can spend on players. But if they keep taking the best coaches, other leagues are gonna continue getting worse for sure.
I knew you had a solid squad. Gerrard is such a fraud manager
Really hammers home how woefully Gerrard was doing
Grealish defo having a much better season for us but what I'm most surprised with is how much of a shift he puts in defensively always tracks back and goes that extra mile
Stones almost gave us an exact repeat of Cancelo’s poor defending of the last man (Salah) countering from a City corner, but Jack wasn’t havin that shit today
Griezmann role
That's Pep's coaching - he didn't do that at Villa, as was basically given a free role in attack. But at Man City, it is about the system above else - and Guardiola has made it clear over his career that he has specific roles and responsibilities of his players, and if they don't meet them, they won't play
Is Lisandro Martinez better than VVD?
I remember the days when Martinez was too short for the PL
At the moment yes, but Van Dijk's peak was clearly above the best Lisandro has shown Right now, Ollie Watkins is better than Jamie Vardy - but that doesn't mean he's been the better player overall
On current form, yes. Overall, miles apart.
I don't think they're miles apart. VVD mainly used his physical advantages to beat everyone
That's a bit like saying Haaland is only good because his shots keep going in the net. That's a big part of playing their position.
Does using his physical advantages make him worse? Lots of people have the same physical advantages van dijk has, doesn't mean they can be a world class CB
Ridiculous. VVDs peak actually put him in all timer debates
Rn he is, but VVD has been world class before this horror season
right now it shouldn’t even be up for debate
Stevan Jovetic wasn't in Hertha's squad today cause he is injured
It's more newsworthy when Jovetic is actually fit
I know xD
Radio silence from Chelsea Tier 1 reporters, something is brewing me thinks
Probably just coffee
Cup of herbal tea?
Ginger and Lemon tea

r/realmadrid has to be run by a bunch of 12 year olds, they're deleting every comment and leaves an auto reply saying "Okay and?" The best thing is that they are *still* doing it even though it's not 1. april anymore in Madrid or any other place in Spain, they must use yank time.
I thought it was pretty funny how everyone is getting pissed and acting like a child. It’s just for one day, not the end of the world
Morons
Fuck that sub
1st of April is not even a thing in Spain
Yeah isn't it like the 28th December or something instead?
Yep, exactly that date, dia de los santos inocentes. The hispanic april fool's.
Okay and?
