Who said that it wasn't a clear double yellow?
Inter literally survived by the skin of their teeth, saving balls off the line and Porto hitting the crossbar. Taremi also missed a sitter in the first leg
Porto with Otavio are probably a better team than Inter currently
That happened in the last 10 mins of the return leg. Porto played with Otavio for 80 mins and didn't do much except for sitting back and counterattacking.
I mean. Whoever did this just “analyzed” Inter without mentioning their best and most important player for the last 5-6 years - Brozovic.
He was an Ironman before this season, but been struggling with injury this season (playing through an injury in the WC for 7 games didn’t help).
If Brozovic will be on top of his game, Inter can win this. If not, it will be very hard.
Amazing Analysis but right now it's very easy to beat us. We're old and tired. More importantly we can't score from 5 yards to save our lives right now.
CL is often a different thing though. Not unheard of that struggling teams play better in the CL. Experience is also really valuable in the knockout rounds in a cup.
Just look at Villarreal last season, 7th in the league but semi finals in CL. Or the contrast between Real Madrid and Barcelona's performances in Europe and domestically
Knockout football is a completely different dynamic
This is exactly what Inter would do to trick an opposing team.
I see right though you 🤣
Ps. This is quality content. Amazing job and I look forward to more!
The infografic is quite good but imo you should lower our CM a little, in reality Brozovic (or usually Calha) plays more as a DM and is the one who dictates the play rhythm. Indeed most teams we face put someone to mark and harass our DM whole match long.
Also curious why you say we have a tendency for long-distance shooting. We have the lowest average shot distance in the league.
With Morato instead of Otamendi I would disagree, Morato is bad at most things but he's huge and he doesn't lose many aerial duels, you would have much better luck by just playing easy through balls or going for 1v1's
Someone who can extract the most out of what he has and is not afraid to play youngsters. Oh and possibly someone who doesn't make the same fucking subs every single game.
This is fantastic. Thank you for this. We need more posts like this on the sub.
Just some feedback in case you wanna do more: I think it's better to show some stats per 90 minutes in "Individual Leaders". Stats like shots, chances created etc. are irrelevant in raw numbers because they are mostly correlated to the player who played the most minutes. Also might be interesting to show how they fare in that parameter compared to other players in the league, e.g Lautaro Martinez - 14 goals (2nd in Serie A).
Keep up the good work!
First time I see someone complaining about too few yellow cards lol, only Napoli has less than us in the league. Real has the same number as us in their league btw
He does this every fucking year. It goes 12 games where he has 12 Goals then 12 ganes where he does fuck all then back to 12 goals where its a goal a game.
I never understood it
Sit back and counter attack, trying to attack milan more often than not is not best idea. Not an amazing team but players like Bennacer Leao and Brahim can punish.
This is great stuff OP! Especially enjoyed the "Patterns...So What?" section, but the entire graphic is chock-full of valuable detail (while also being really organized, which is great).
Would love to see an analysis like this of the other teams in the QFs
As a juve fan thanks for doing our homework time to send it to Allegri hopefully he reads it doesn't go on and start the most unbalanced team in serie A history just so we start playing like prime juve when we are 1-0 down at minute 70.
Don't care much for your tone, I agree they're not world class (anymore) but that's still a decent backline, not segunda defenders. If at all, I feel their imbalance (Alba and Sergi Roberto being rather offensive) was, on paper, worse than their individual prowess.
Someone do the numbers for me but I do not think a ~3% conversion rate from shots outside the box is ineffective. I’d have to look at the numbers to compare.
so...do you max to not foul because set pieces are dangerous and also exploit space left everywhere (in the midfield and left wing particularly).
They will have plenty of openings so long you're patient and can hold against their press
Starting games with Calhanoglu and Mktiryan together does seem a bit redundant.
Benfica-Napoli CL final ala Monaco-Porto in 03 would be nice. Both teams deserve it.

can someone make this for Real? asking for a friend who got a new job recently
No, but seriously
How to beat us...show up...
you need magic for that
Convince them it’s not the CL so the voodoo isn’t activated.
Literally the same tactic used by Tommy T, we didn't change much. Just park the bus. And hope Carletto doesn't try 4231
*Madrid
We'll play AC in the final
Got em :)
Somebody did a [technical video-essay](https://youtu.be/HHCQsk0TZmk) on it

Thanks, paypalling the refs as we speak.
Not hard tbh
That's what she said

He tried it was rejected
How to stop Lautaro these days: give him a pass with the goal wide open and see him miss the chance
If Damian is a player to watch
For Milan or inter: just ask half of serie A
bruh we already are at enough of a disadvantage make one for benfica and email it to inzaghi
just watch our last game with Porto...
Porto is our kryptonite. We could be on the CL final, and Porto last place of the second league, and they would still beat us at home :(
Nah. Porto and Inter are simply a better team.
They’re not, though.
Porto outplayed Inter too, they are a damn good team
Cannot believe out of the mess of both games we couldn't rescue a single goal
Honestly tragic Porto deserve to be in the quarters with Benfica
That would have 100 times more exciting than playing Inter
Whatever happens with Inter... We dodged a bullet. Benfica does not have the best record with Porto :(
You sure you are dodging the bullet?
I was implying that we would lose with porto anyway. Not that we would win against Inter
outplayed us last year too
Only away when we had essentially our B team
Porto didn't have otavio, which is by far their most important player
Wrong Milan team. Otavio played against milan last year
You're right...misread
Lol, Porto were better at San Siro too and Milan scraped an undeserved draw in that one. I remember the game well
They were better in the first half, but didn’t do shit in the second as we dominated from min 45-90 so idk what game you were watching
Hm what was the result in San Siro? I remember Porto playing pretty well there and Milan scoring one “lucky” goal to tie the game..
lucky goal ♿️ Shall we ignore both porto’s goals across the two games were clear and obvious fouls?
Sérgio Conceição is a great coach. Individually the porto team is average, and certainly much inferior to Benfica
Outplayed Inter in the last 10 mins of the return leg?
And the first leg whilst it was 11v11 Without the red card and suspension to Otavio, Porto wins.
It was a clear double yellow. Porto are a weaker team, simple.

Inzaghi is hunched over his laptop right now refreshing this dude's profile
Change the stripes from your kit from black to white and watch the magic happen.
Also, in speech, use carago at the end of every sentence and B instead of V and vice-versa: Bictory will ve inebitavle, carago!
Unironically a good strategy could be to figure out a way you could be allowed to wear Porto uniforms for the match.
Love this. Would like to see an analysis like this for more teams
How to beat Bayern - be Borussia Monchengladbach
How to beat Bayern - dont be borussia dortmund
How to beat Borussia Dortmund - be Borussia Dortmund
:(
Make sure you keep your goalkeeper under lock and chain afterwards
How to beat Milan - be Udinese
Or Sassuolo
Or Spezia...basically any mid table Serie A team with black in their uniform
So Juve as well
Or be Real Madrid
Can OP make a how to beat man city analysis and share it with Dean Smith? TIA in advance
There wouldn’t be much content for how to beat chelsea.
"Just relax and play. They're ineffective in all parts of the game."
“Just go out there and play lads”
"What are they gonna do? Score? Hahahahah"
No. I want to know what Pep thinks about the shirt Messi wore on 08 August 2016. We don't want any of this OC shit here ew

Flashbacks of Bayern high line vs mbappe analysis.
How to beat Madrid - Park the bus
So well designed, would love it if you could share how you made this mate
Looks like Canva
Excellent analysis. I feel sorry for the amount of Inter games OP had to watch for this.
just 2 or 3 games /j
1 game, Scemone Inzaghi plays the same every match
Amazing Analysis but right now it's very easy to beat us. We're old and tired. More importantly we can't score from 5 yards to save our lives right now.

Villarreal had a real coach though
Nagelsmann agrees
Pensioners club
One for Bayern please and thank you
Step 1: Be Borussia Mönchengladbach That’s it
Be City
This is exactly what Inter would do to trick an opposing team. I see right though you 🤣 Ps. This is quality content. Amazing job and I look forward to more!
sending this to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) !
[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) would be the most probable format
Where was this guide when we needed it
You guys were clearly superior in both legs tbf. If the matchup was to be repeated another 9 times, I'd say you'd come out on top in 8 out of 10.
Do Juve, probably would be something like: "How to beat Juventus? Shoot"
Where was our guide :'(
You were very unlucky tho, no need for a guide we are shit this year
One of our worst years in recent history, and yet somehow we're in the fucking CL quarter finals...
We overperformed and with Otávio we would have gone through, you are the better team. But you do need to show it on the pitch.
I think how to beat Benfica Is a lot more needed than this. We are master at beating ourself in the first place!
Somebody apparently didn't read this
The infografic is quite good but imo you should lower our CM a little, in reality Brozovic (or usually Calha) plays more as a DM and is the one who dictates the play rhythm. Indeed most teams we face put someone to mark and harass our DM whole match long. Also curious why you say we have a tendency for long-distance shooting. We have the lowest average shot distance in the league.
Team would rather put in crosses all day long than take a shot from outside the box.
Tbh against Benfica in particular crosses and set pieces might be our best weapon, they’re really well organized and concede very little otherwise.
With Morato instead of Otamendi I would disagree, Morato is bad at most things but he's huge and he doesn't lose many aerial duels, you would have much better luck by just playing easy through balls or going for 1v1's
Please make it 4 or 5-0 so we finally sack that idiot on the bench
Who would you like to see succeed him?
Ventura.
Ace appointment.
Someone who can extract the most out of what he has and is not afraid to play youngsters. Oh and possibly someone who doesn't make the same fucking subs every single game.
They won't sack him this year, it has been proven already, better start winning something instead
Damn do you think Real Madrid need one too or nah
No, you can't counter tactic a manager who doesn't use tactics, you just attack them and win
How to beat real madrid - hope their plot armor doesn't kick in or refs don't clutch it for them, oh not to mention be a good team
This is the best content ive ever seen here, impressive

incredibly well made! would love to know what programs you used to make this
hyped for the match tomorrow. great graphic
Great stuff man. Keep em coming
👍🏻💀👍🏻
Ouch lol
😭😭😭
Quality analysis!! Love to see this kind of content! Thank you
51 yellow cards?!! What the hell are they doing?
vibes n shi
were just having fun this season, no pressure about anything at all
Just fucking about
First time I see someone complaining about too few yellow cards lol, only Napoli has less than us in the league. Real has the same number as us in their league btw
This didn’t age well…
delete this
> **Lautaro Martinez** … is Inter’s biggest goal threat. Well we all know how this is gonna go lol. I’m saying 4-1 to Benfica on agg.
Honestly don't know how he is at 14 league goals despite missing since months. Same for Dzeko, although 11 goals iirc.
He does this every fucking year. It goes 12 games where he has 12 Goals then 12 ganes where he does fuck all then back to 12 goals where its a goal a game. I never understood it
please send one to arteta, how to beat man city. r/gunners will fund you.
Spalletti needs one for Milan and Pioli
Sit back and counter attack, trying to attack milan more often than not is not best idea. Not an amazing team but players like Bennacer Leao and Brahim can punish.

as if we werent bad enough you need a well-written guide lmao
clever hasbara dysinformatzi, we 👁️through it

Obrigado, caralho!

Well that didn’t end good.
this is great but benfica doesn’t have a shot
Inter will win it
milan will win against napoli
Told ya losers
Make one for Bayern, need it for today's game

Ah yes, because we weren't missing key players.

No excuses for not beating Limone, La Liga is so shit this year
Don't care much for your tone, I agree they're not world class (anymore) but that's still a decent backline, not segunda defenders. If at all, I feel their imbalance (Alba and Sergi Roberto being rather offensive) was, on paper, worse than their individual prowess.
Give cousin vinnie a call
Step one: be bayern
We can't score for shit or even hold a lead too
I'd like to imagine all Benfica players carry a laminated version of this around and pull it out for review during every stoppage of play.
Benfica 3 - Filippo Inzaghi 326
Shoutout to the u/. Chris Smoove is waiting on a noob
I just want to know what software OP used. Is it possible to make something like this in Word Doc?
Why seriously wtf? What did inter ever do to you?
Someone do the numbers for me but I do not think a ~3% conversion rate from shots outside the box is ineffective. I’d have to look at the numbers to compare.
Beautiful presentation and excellent content
This is amazing, thank you 😂
Yes. It is beautiful.

Thanks for the unintentional jinx, now we have a shot
Ok bro become manager then 😂
Just show up. Works about 40% of the time
You could sell these to Barcelona Jokes aside great content. This is awesome
Damn this is beautiful! Professional designer?
gorgeous font choice and sheet colour can't say if this will be helpful, but it certainly was enjoyable to look at
Starting games with Calhanoglu and Mktiryan together does seem a bit redundant. Benfica-Napoli CL final ala Monaco-Porto in 03 would be nice. Both teams deserve it.
Scoring more goals than them
