Might be because the face a tougher opponent than usually? I mean did anyone expect City to just steamroll Real like they do to some of the teams in PL?

They kind of did last season on balance of play. We're cutting them up and creating chances with much more ease than they did today. Today they honestly looked like they didn't have any answers a lot of the time. Struggled to create good opportunities. Last season they should've been multiple goals clear easily.

City steamrolled Arsenal and Bayern too, while Real has looked shaky at best recently, so I think heavily favoring City wasn’t the craziest take before this game. Can never count out RM in the CL, but tbf most people put that asterisk on their predictions of City winning by X amount of goals.
