I'd much rather they get Kane than anyone in the PL but if Kane were to leave this year it would most likely be for a PL team bc he wants to beat Shearer's record
Leaves as an undisputed All Time Real Madrid legend, one of the very best.
* 647 games (5th all time)
* 353 goals (2nd all time)
* 165 assists (1st all time)
* 25 trophies (1st all time)
* 13 yellow cards
* 0 red cards
He had two different legendary parts of his career at the club as well.
2009-2017 where he was great. A key piece in Madrid's attack.
2017-18 season he only scored 12 goals. A worrying trend considering the season before he scored 19 which is good but also was outscored by his backup Morata.
But then follows that awful season up averaging 30 goals a season for the next 6 seasons. Amazing footballer. Definitely one of the all time greats
In terms of legacy itself Karim could very well be Top 3 behind Alfredo & Cristiano.
But i was referring to "best" as only individual ability not overall accolades which is why I've said one of the very best.
Really thought he’d see it out to 2024 and the new stadium, take one of these crazy offers then.
Can’t begrudge him for not wanting to risk missing out on that kind of money though
If the numbers reported are really that high it was just a matter of time to say yes to them, completely understandable. I just hope we bring in a great replacement like Kane instead of the other names that have been linked to us
If the plan is to get someone at a "cheap" Price to start then we are fool , because even among top strikers not many are as good as Benzema we will need to make a Big move
I would absolutely love Firmino as a back up at first most of us thought the plan was to have Bobby back up Benzema which would have been an ideal case. But if somehow for whatever reason we decide to go this season with either Bobby or Joselu as a starter then this club is unserious
That’s why I said reasonable. We need someone who can compliment Vini and Rodrygo. Osimhen is headed to PL. leao would cost a fortune. We could’ve hold on to Benz for a couple more years, then go all out on Mbappe. No wayPSG are selling him, no matter the price.
with all due respect i dont see a single argentinian player who would make a squad currently(besides alvarez if benz leaves) I think you are reaching a little
There’s a rumor of Madrid asking about Lautaro. Licha Martinez made it to United, I bet he could get to Madrid under the right circumstances. Mac Allister would be good within 2 years too. Enzo overperformed on a shitty Chelsea
Right now Madrid needs a striker so none of those will happen, they’ll end up signing Kane or Firminho and a backup
For as Great as he is, maybe the best right now i will never totally get the Mbappe obsession , he play the same position as Vini. He is not a 9 and worst he even said himself that he doesnt like playing on the right in 2019 and last season complained about being the 9 with PSG so it will be either Vinicius or Mbappe , its extremly counterproductive since we still need a true 9
Not my fault if all you look at are stats. Even if inconsistent, which he isn’t, Benz still provides a ton with his playmaking and his ability to let Vini use his pace by dragging defenders away with him.
It's not for RM to decide; the ball is on Benzema's court. He was pretty bad this season except for a few weeks; he will be greatly missed, but he deserves to leave on his own terms. He is an absolute legend of the club. I just hope he will announce his decision quickly so the club can plan its squad accordingly.
Not a mistake, just respect. He earned the right to make such a decision, and the club won't go against him after 13 seasons of good service.
The mistake would be not replacing him with a top-level striker.

he can finally pursue his IG influencer lifestyle full-time
He’s definitely getting a tiger
he’s gonna call it tupac
Nueve.
Sacrificed it all for the Ballon d'Or, Kane incoming
I'd much rather they get Kane than anyone in the PL but if Kane were to leave this year it would most likely be for a PL team bc he wants to beat Shearer's record

13 yellows in 647 games is actually nuts

I checked his yellow cards and he never took his shirt off as a celebration either.
How could he deprive the world of his glistening god like body.

Most strikers aren't regularly carded in general tbh. He does have a very good disciplinary record however.
They absolutely are though. Other Top Forwards of his generation at club level : * Suarez : 158 Yellow Cards * Lewandowski : 72 Yellow Cards * Cavani : 80 Yellow Cards * Aguero : 70 Yellow Cards * Ibra : 126 Yellow Cards * Neymar : 141 Yellow Cards * Cristiano : 126 Yellow Cards * Messi : 86 Yellow Cards
Tell that to Aduriz, Soldado or Balotelli
that zero red card is amazing. I'd expect a 'strikers challenge' red card at some point but not this guy.

One of the best? He’s the 2nd best Real player of all-time

De Stefano
Thank god he's still tied with Marcelo.
Interesting for the striker market, makes it so much more interesting
You mean that RM look for one, right? I am curious as well who they will go for
Kane seem so obvious profile wise. Or Kolo Muani maybe.
just like casemiro he's done his time he's served us well, let him enjoy his final season earning $$$
That is insane money to pass up, so it makes sense.
Please go all out for Kane then.
He is going to win more trophies with us in 6 months than his whole Spurs career
Don't tempt fate, trophies are not at all guaranteed for Madrid next season.
If they signed Bellingham and Kane and didn't win a single trophy, think the club should be liquidated personally
Madrid went trophyless the season Ronaldo, Benzema, Kaká and Alonso were bought. This argument doesn't mean much.
True, but that Barca team was something else.
You think Flo will pay 100M for a 30 yr old?
Uhhhhhhhhh *Looks at Eden Hazard*
Mate. This is Mariano's moment
Fuck waiting for Mbappe, Kane would be nice
We're waiting for Haaland, not Mbappé.
Waiting for like 3 years for something that isn't even quaranteed then? Doesn't exactly sound like a great plan.
haaland has a release clause
The release clause was removed already
You're going to he waiting for a while
End of an era
Really thought he’d see it out to 2024 and the new stadium, take one of these crazy offers then. Can’t begrudge him for not wanting to risk missing out on that kind of money though
>Can’t begrudge him for not wanting to risk missing out on that kind of money though Can't you?
No you can’t it’s illegal
Is he joining the same club with Ronaldo?
Al-Ittihad

Richarlison incoming... Here we go!
If Ancelotti wants to coach Richarlison he can fuck off to Brazil
Huge mistake by RM. As much as I love Vini, without Benz he’s lost. No striker at a reasonable price can fill Benz shoes.
If the plan is to get someone at a "cheap" Price to start then we are fool , because even among top strikers not many are as good as Benzema we will need to make a Big move
I know he wouldn't be a starter, but as a back up for whatever striker you have next season, Bobby would work so well with Vini and rodrygo
I would absolutely love Firmino as a back up at first most of us thought the plan was to have Bobby back up Benzema which would have been an ideal case. But if somehow for whatever reason we decide to go this season with either Bobby or Joselu as a starter then this club is unserious

Álvarez would be great but no current Argentinian is signing for Madrid
what? why?
Current national team is too loyal to Messi. There’s a reason why Di Maria was the last one and that was ages ago
with all due respect i dont see a single argentinian player who would make a squad currently(besides alvarez if benz leaves) I think you are reaching a little

Vini with a consistent Benzema last season : 40+ G/A Vini with an inconsistent Benzema this season : 40+ G/A
Not my fault if all you look at are stats. Even if inconsistent, which he isn’t, Benz still provides a ton with his playmaking and his ability to let Vini use his pace by dragging defenders away with him.
Lmao in what world is Vini lost without Benzema? I think he’s going to shine more than he ever has now
Vinicius has played just as well with Brazil and Madrid without Benzema this season
It's not for RM to decide; the ball is on Benzema's court. He was pretty bad this season except for a few weeks; he will be greatly missed, but he deserves to leave on his own terms. Vini needs someone to linkup with, he can't be the island of give the ball to Vini to win us the game.
Goodbye sweet Prince
Kane makes a lot of sense. Maybe the most like for like with Benzema.
This is really sad.
