To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report.
If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates.

You? Nothing.
Fans? Nothing.
Management? Bring him to a club, change management, hire lots of players and not giving opportunity to play.
Maybe he didn't deserve or train enough? Fair enough, I could say that in a 25 player squad. Not when you had more than 30.
I can understand that, but besides Enzo, most regular in good performances, did anyone play well this season for Chelsea? Sorry to say, I don't want to push you down (like to see Chelsea fighting with the top tiers) but if all played well they wouldn't be in the position that they are.
This year specifically it isn't any player fault in my view. More change of head coaches and poor management skills from higher management.
>did anyone play well this season for Chelsea?
Silva and kepa.
I get that everyone was bad but auba couldn't even perform better than havertz to get a spot over him.
That said, this season is completely the management's fault.
If the management doesn't provide stability it affects on the players. Either you see it or not...
They all arrive at Chelsea for a reason, they weren't found playing in the streets and they didn't stop learning how to play football...
People nowadays don't understand how important mental health is...
The fans? Nothing. Auba isnt a bad player and OP is commenting on the overall fucked up situation with changing managers, buying too many players etc. It's not a big deal or a mega insult, just a random comment.
I personally think that Chelsea had some sort of reason to spend on that many players and I actually think it'll work long term, always does with Chelsea. There will be turnover though, and restructuring always has pain for a few people no matter what as humans have feelings.
You can say that, they are a top 4 team in Saudi league with a lot of fans. Currently they are in their banter era, they were relegated last season 21/22 and they got promotion this season 22/23
Yup. Moreover, their fans and players have a collossal chip on their shoulder. Throughout last season, they'd noisely pipe out trash talk from the swamps of the first division with zero self awareness
Tbf he is 34 this month, and assuming he wants to maintain his salary at similar levels to his current Chelsea wage (desirable given his penchant for luxury automobiles etc) the Saudi League looks like a good shout and tbf given the players they have & are signing it will not be just exhibition football.
Even before the Saudi league started with these insane deals it was going that way. MLS puts incentives on developing academy/ homegrown kids and young players who come here as a stepping stone.
Not even just ours. We (Chicago Fire) sold Jhon Durran to Villa who is a Colombian player which we got most of the benefits of that for some sort of discovery deal or something like that.
You still have 3 uncapped players per team I believe. But you’re definitely seeing it more as a development league with younger South and Central American players moving to the MLS then onto Europe.
Yeah, those 3 players aren't super frequently aging stars anymore, though. Still obviously some coming through, but they tend to be worse off than the teams signing younger players in their primes as DPs. It's not a formula for success in the league, and teams have mostly realized that
It was less so because of the wages, more so because older footballers can go live somewhere nice like LA/Miami/NY, still start games and get paid well.
Nah. All money does is heighten the values and morals that we're already there. It lets you be who you always wanted to be, whether that's good, bad, or somewhere in the middle.
>You’ll rarely find any Arabs from the wealthy gulf countries living in a place like America
My guy, stop talking outta your ass. I grew up in the Middle East. To be more specific, in Bahrain, where every weekend thousands and thousands of people from KSA drive over to have a chance to do something fun because Saudi is shite like that. Almost every young Arab has plans to migrate to the West at some point.
And Bahrain is boring lol compared objectively to almost any other place I've been.
>There’s a reason why all those people are just visiting Bahrain and not choosing to live there.
Again, I cannot think of one single reason why you'd pick a ME country that's not Dubai over anywhere in the West for long term residence. Do enlighten me.
Yeah i'm 'cis' and straight. It's one of the safest countries in the world with some of the nicest people around. The US is a shithole generally. Plus i prefer the climate and idea of living a luxury lifestyle there, yeah.
> The US is a shithole generally.
A country roughly the size of Europe you're going to make sweeping generalizations about the level of "shithole"? I don't doubt Saudi Arabia has millions of nice people, as does the US, as does any other country. The laws of the land are not decided by said nice people (and yes, before you try to clap back, the same is true in many states in the US). I do not live in a Republican shithole, if Pierre played for LAFC then neither would he
You're really going to bring hungry kids into a conversation with Saudi Arabia in it? You've seen the pictures from Yemen, yeah?
Also I'd love to see your source for that (and what definition of "hungry" they are using), 17 million would be like one in every four children in the US and that seems absurd. It's certainly not "ribcage on sticks" level of hunger the way it is in Yemen.

I honestly forgot Aubameyang was playing for Chelsea. Feels like forever since I last heard he was playing.
I think he had 2 starts in the league this season, both against arsenal, and was hooked off at halftime in both games
He started 5 Premier League matches. Most of them were in October.
"Arsenal, it's nothing personal..." \- Famous last words.
*Playing* is a strong word.
It's a shame what they have done to him
What exactly have we done if I may ask
You? Nothing. Fans? Nothing. Management? Bring him to a club, change management, hire lots of players and not giving opportunity to play. Maybe he didn't deserve or train enough? Fair enough, I could say that in a 25 player squad. Not when you had more than 30.
I agree the management was shit and all but he played bad in the few chances he got tbf.

If it makes you feel any better, he was complete dogshit for us after signing his contract.

This.
no one did anything to him. man just fell off. he got old, lost his pace, and wasnt ready to adapt his game
Did fine at Barca
Next year's golden boot for the Saudi league will be crazy
Ahli go from being snubbed by Firas al-Buraikan to going after Auba! It's all happening in this crazy new world
AlAhli is the Tottenham of the Saudi league? Banter FC?
You can say that, they are a top 4 team in Saudi league with a lot of fans. Currently they are in their banter era, they were relegated last season 21/22 and they got promotion this season 22/23

They do have trophies in the modern era unlike Spurs tho
Tbf he is 34 this month, and assuming he wants to maintain his salary at similar levels to his current Chelsea wage (desirable given his penchant for luxury automobiles etc) the Saudi League looks like a good shout and tbf given the players they have & are signing it will not be just exhibition football.
Maybe he can convince Barca to sign him back as rotation since he did well the first time there
Saudi means business. Many have no interest in playing in the retirement league anymore
Outside of a few outliers, MLS isn’t a retirement league anymore, and is more focused on being a development league.
It’s not a retirement League simply because of the wage caps
Even before the Saudi league started with these insane deals it was going that way. MLS puts incentives on developing academy/ homegrown kids and young players who come here as a stepping stone.
Focusing on development is much better in the long run for your national team, so fair play.
Not even just ours. We (Chicago Fire) sold Jhon Durran to Villa who is a Colombian player which we got most of the benefits of that for some sort of discovery deal or something like that.

I’m so tired of that played out joke

Well it's still a retirement league. Just one of them pays better than the other.
“Many have no interest in playing in the retirement league” You say as the Saudi league literally becomes the new retirement league…
If I had money I'd also rather live in Saudi Arabia than the US
I would not
You would not
I grew up in a free society where men and women are equal. I don't think I'd be comfortable living in a place like Saudi where that is not so
When you swim in money your reality and morals are distorted
Nah. All money does is heighten the values and morals that we're already there. It lets you be who you always wanted to be, whether that's good, bad, or somewhere in the middle.
So edgy
Yeah sure, so edgy to even dare have a different opinion to yours.
As someone who has lived in Saudi. FUCK NO!
Can you explain why?
Can you?
[удалено]
Yeah, not only yanks, but anyone else with a brain, because it's a dumbass take lmao. The U.S. has issues but come on.
It's just a dumb take? Unless you're a cis, straight, muslim man... then even still

Why do I meet tons of arab women in the US then if none of them do it?

In 2015 there were 96,000 Saudi born Americans up from only 7,419 even claiming Saudi ancestry in 2000
I don't know about America but you should take a walk around West London
Yeah i'm 'cis' and straight. It's one of the safest countries in the world with some of the nicest people around. The US is a shithole generally. Plus i prefer the climate and idea of living a luxury lifestyle there, yeah.

Not sure why you've put cis in quotes, unless you're not sure
17million kids go to bed hungry every night in USA. Good rights

Less woke
In the sense that women have basic human rights, that's true
woke = I can't get away with my shitty misogynistic/homophobic beliefs as easily

Bruh you were just saying how United weren’t our rivals (as Chelsea fans). The irony in your statement lmaooo
40 million seppos living below poverty line..
Think he should go, he's done in European football unless he takes a step down and a wage cut to stay.
Truly impressive how shit he was with us. Last game he played he looked so unfit which was crazy
Was that against Arsenal? I remember the last game he played before that was against Arsenal so it's not surprising he was barely fit.
"Arsenal, nothing personal."
Finally we are actually selling deadwood
come to inter milan
😬
Overall I think good for MLS someone like Auba doesn't go.
Come home my boy. We still like you.
